Good value B&BI'm not sure how useful it is to ask me to rate it for "location" - that depends on where you want to be. For me it was ideal, near UCD. For a tourist who wants the city centre, less so. I had a cheap deal for 54 euro via Agoda (would have been 50 if I had booked direct) of a single room only with separate bathroom down a flight of stairs. I did not take breakfast as they start at 8am and I was leaving early. But they readily offered coffee and mince pies and there was tea making & biscuits in the room.

Nice B&B but expensive and far out.Very pleasant guest house but cheeky prices for a house. Booking seemed to look like B&B but turned out to be an extra charge of 10 euros for this B&B. Already this B&B- not a Hall but a little house cost me 85 euro for one night stay. Sure I had a lovely little annex room down the garden and d.id not mind if the loo didn,t flush properly, too late to rectify as I arrived late. Leaving without breakfast for my workshop I was assured a taxi to town (Smithfield) would not cost more than 10 euro but was royally ripped off on a quiet Saturday morning for the sum of 18 euros and left in an uncertain location, not my address. A staff member had called the taxi for me. All in all too expensive a visit for one person.

    Hospitality, Information, Beautiful Breakfast.

Our stay at Donnybrook Hall was just fantastic, our first day in Dublin and they made us feel so so welcomed and explained where there was things to see and transport etc., they got to now us and spent the time making us feel very welcomed. The breakfast was stunning and so very filling, Terry the manager was also very welcoming and wanting to get to now us also which really made us feel, welcomed. Sadly we only had one night here but if we could get back this too is a place we would return to. Thank you Terry and Eric.
