Lovely hotel and service with a smile”

Free Ramen every nite
Only 1 staff speak english.

Not recommend for 2 person sharing semi double as bed too small. Bed more for small build for semi double sharing During autumn, when weather cool, the hotel switch off the aircondition and switch to heater. The problem is the hotels faces the main road and nite is too noisy to sleep.

Good Hotel”

Clean, friendly, inexpensive
No onsen

Good quality accommodation for a very reasonable price. Most of the Dormy`s have an onsen. I don`t think this does, anyway I couldn`t find it. Otherwise you know what your getting and the staff are lovely. Quite far from central Tokyo but doabble. Would happily stay again.

Relaxing location with cleaner air than the city ”

Excellent value for money! A relaxing neighbourhood, friendly staff.
nil weaknesses

A very good value for money hotel that is in a relaxing area, trees and fresher air than Tokyo. Its not too difficult to get there, just a change at Kita-Senju, the metro line station at the hotel ajoins the Hibiya line, so its easy to go straight from the hotel as far as Naka-Meguro on the subway. If I ever come to Tokyo again and need a base, I will definitely chose this hotel, thank you. Oh its very clean too, bathroom is spotless. I had to pay for breakfast which was quite a good one and costs Y1100

Good place to stay”

good price, very clean, very close to train station
short dinning hours

This hotel is very clean and very affordable. If you are looking for a huge room then this may not be the place for you, but if you if you are looking for a clean comfortable place to sleep then this is the place. The service was great and the staff was very very helpful. This hotel is kinda far from downtown Tokyo but its not a long train ride, so i will recommend this to anyone traveling in a group 4 or less.

Nice experience”

Pleasant atmosphere, quiet setting and clean. Many places to shop for food close to the hotel and they have a nice restaurant.
The area of the Hotel (Saitama) is a little far from most tourist areas of Tokyo. No ATM in the Hotel, but there are a few nearby.

I enjoyed my stay here, the room was clean and had a small kitchenette and the area of Tokyo (Saitama) is quiet and a nice escape from the craziness of Tokyo. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The Hotel was in easy walking distance (1 block) from the Yatsuka metro station.

Japan 09”

accessibility, location, free bike rental, free internet computers.
Nil

This hotel was very friendly and had quite good English speaking staff, they had free bike hire up until 8pm and was very handy exploring the local area. room size was comfortable with two people and suitcases. We rate this hotel as one of the most memorable, friendly and in a nice area. It is a good base for traveling in the northern Japan area. we did not dine at this restaurant so cant comment.

Dormy InnYatsuka”

Price, quiet location, close to rail station, friendly service
Small beds, far from centre

Agoda and Dormy Inn Yatsuka need to give clearer directions of how to get to the hotel by train from the airports. Location is not clear or apparent. The staff were very helpful, when the internet did not work and found us another room. Rooms were clean and efficient and it was in a great quiet area within easy reach of Tokyo centre by train.

poor location with problematic access”

not too costly, standard shopings, I've liked ordinary people living exposure

I was well accepted while proposing a noodle soup at 10:00PM. On the day of leave there was an awful line to the train so thatI had to take a taxi one station back and then take a forward way train to be on time in the airport.

Great Hotel, Large rooms, Friendly Staff.”

Large, comfortable rooms.

Great Hotel wit large sized rooms, comfortable beds and all the amenities you require. Suited my needs perfectly. Definitely not recommended for first time travellers into Tokyo, Tourist or sight seeing as this Hotel is not so easy to get to from the city centre, requires good knowledge of the Japan Rail line system and would need to read and speak Japanese as you need to catch 3 different trains to get from Tokyo City(Shibuya/Shinjuku/Harajuku/Akihabara) back to the Hotel. at a cost of around US$20 for a return train ticket from Hotel to Shibuya and back I wouldn't recommend this to be the best hotel for tourists going to Tokyo on holiday. That being said if you know the area or you need to be on this side of Tokyo the Hotel is great and I had a lovely stay.

Clean & Tidy but Quite Far from Central District”

Economical with clean and big room

The hotel is quite far from downtown. We need to take quite a JR journey to there from Ueno Station. The distance will be even further if you want to go to Shinjuku. However, the hotel is very clean and tidy and also the room is big. Overall, this is still satisfactory if you cannot find any other hotel in the central district.

Ideal for travelers on a budget!”

Kitchen in room, spacious (for Japan)
A bit far from downtown Tokyo

Easy to find, and just a few minutes walk, from Yatsuke station. Yatsuka station is however over 30 minutes away from Tokyo Station. If you don't mind the train ride, this a great place to stay for travelers to Tokyo on a budget. The rooms have their own kitchen so you can cook your own food, the use of the washing machines is free and breakfast is included in the room rates. Rooms are spacious (compared to other budget hotels in Tokyo) Internet is free and very fast. Stay is friendly and understand enough English to get by.

Dear Webmaster, first we arrived cannot find this hotel. I have to walk around so tired, I found that it has been changed name. Cannot remember its name for now but will you please check and change in your systems to avoid misunderstanding and to be easy to find the hotel. Thank you.

Small, but sufficient”

Very reasonably priced, in a nice part of Tokyo (only a 15 minute train ride to Ueno Station), nice massage chairs on 2nd floor. I loved the built-in kitchenette!
A tight squeeze for two in a double room, but we managed just fine. The pillows were a little rough (filled with pellets?), but again, manageable.

I really enjoyed our stay here. The staff was very friendly and helpful when we needed to know how to get where we were going. There was always a medium-level English speaker on staff. Very easy to find from Yatsuka Station! The room was small but clean. Hotel is very close to a convenience store, a pub, and a few small but wonderful restaurants.
