Best Hotel Onsen ever!”
If you enjoy a relaxing onsen, then this hotel is the best choice you can make. The rooms are very comfortable (although not overly large), the reception staff are great and it is perfectly located right near Nagano Station and a plethora of restaurants..... but it is the Onsen facilities that make this hotel the perfect choice. On the top floor the onsen has large changing rooms, a sauna, ice bath, inside onsen and a very tranquil outdoor onsen. Add to that there a massage chairs. I loved this hotel!

AMAZING ”
Ok this place was absolutely amazing. I normally never write reviews but felt compelled to for this hotel. Location - a few mins walk from Nagano Station Cleanliness - this place is MAD clean Aesthetic - the design is beautiful and it really creates a really relaxing vibe Facilities - the onsen was AMAZING. Like really good. They also have late night free ramen Room - really nice room, extremely clean, etc. Only complaint was the pillow was like a buckwheat one and wasn’t good for me. Highly recommend this place, one of the best stays I’ve had at a hotel, and it wasn’t even super expensive.

Excellent stay with great facilities”
We had an excellent stay. Our room was spacious and included all of the amenities needed for a short stay, including some very thoughtful touches like a usb charging cord. We made full use of the fridge and tea making facilities. The staff were helpful and lovely (they do speak English for those who don’t speak Japanese). We enjoyed the onsen each night and loved that there was both an indoor and outdoor one. Amenities were provided and on hand. We liked that there was an incentive to be more eco friendly - a nice touch by the hotel. The hotel is a few minutes walk from the station and is surrounding by restaurants and convenience stores. You are also a nice walk away from the temples.

It s a very clean, good priced and well located hotel”
The hotel is new, the room is not that small for the price to be paid and it s very clean. They have free Onsen on top of the hotel, quite and clean. And they also serve free noodle at night after the onsen. I am really impressed and recommend this place for anyone to stay in Nagano. It only takes 3 minutes to walk from the station. And lots of good food nearby.

Best Hot Spring Hotel”
My original booking was at Dormy Inn Matsumoto. Because typhoon #19 damaged the rail track and road, I can’t get access to Matsumoto so check into property in Nagano. Staff were very helpful to arrange for cancellation and refund of my Matsumoto booking. Very clean room and Onsen is fantastic. Love the free soba supper, coffee, tea and coco. Highly recommend Dormy Inn.

Excellent modern hotel near station”
Had a very good stay for 3 nights at this hotel. Facilities are very good. Onsen is one cold inside, one hot inside, one hot outside. They're on the small side, and can be quite busy, but it's a real bonus for guests to have. The hotel is very modern and clean. Laundry machines are located on the top floor inside each of the male and female public bath areas. Washer is free. Dryer worked very well (which is rare in Japan hotels). Hotel is spotless. Free coffee or hot chocolate from machine in lobby. Didn't try the free ramen, but it's also a nice touch. The only slightly negative thing I can think of is that the hotel staff at reception, while being efficient and professional, which of course is positive, however lack in the usual social and personal touch interactions that are common in Japanese hotels. No greetings coming into or leaving the hotel. Strange. It's like you're invisible unless you need something or initiate contact. When checking out, we weren't asked how our stay was or if everything had been ok. Not a big deal, but thought I'd mention it for management to address. Overall, the hotel is extremely well managed.

This is a great hotel and its so convenient across the road from Nagano train station. It has free Onsen (separate Male / Female), free ramen for supper from 9.30pm, rooms are spacious by Japanese standards and immaculately clean. Breakfast is good, staff very helpful, free tea / coffee in lobby, free washing machines. I will definitely be staying here again on my next visit to Nagano.

Great location”
I am a frequent user of Dormy inn. This is my first time in Nagano so of course I picked Dormy Inn. As usual the noodles supper is great as the other places around the hotel are mainly yakitori. It is opposite Nagana station which you can take the Shinkansen from Tokyo, or subway to where you want to go. There is a bus terminal too which we took often to explore the area. Though Dormy Inn allow you to choose a pillow, I find the pillow too flat and hard for my liking, this is the same for all Dormy. For this particular dormy, I wished the green tea machine is placed outside as I prefer that to buck tea

Everything was perfect”
3-4 minutes walk from Nagano train station. Breakfast was delicious, lots of local specialties. Hotel is new and clean. I love their outdoor onsen and free ramen at night. Laundry machine is also free to use. Dormy Inn is always my first choice when traveling in Japan. Highly recommended.

Love the location, ramen, onsen, room and everything!”
This is one hotel that has everything that we need as a traveller. The room in my opinion is decent compared to the other Japanese hotels. The room is also very well designed with ample power points around to use. They also have a Panasonic hair dryer! When you come back after a long day, it is so nice to be able to go to the onsen to relax. Bonus is if you missed your dinner after a hectic schedule, you can still enjoy a nice bowl of ramen!

Location, ramen and onsen”
This is the first time we used Dormy Inn and we absolutely love it! The accommodation is very close to the Nagano JR station and is beside a Seven Eleven. Starbucks is just opposite and the hotel is surrounded by many eating places. And if that is not enough, you always have the ramen supper as a backup. The onsen is great too. We were also impressed with the clever design of the room and it is roomier than we thought (economical double).

A hotel with good facilities”
This hotel has indoor and outdoor hot spring. Quite an enjoyment after a day of travel. Room size is quite good considering the room price. Free ramen is provided by hotel each night. Good as mid-night snack. Location is excellent. Surrounded by good restaurants. Three convenient stores are nearby. 5-minutes walk to train station and bus station.

Very close to Nagano JR, room is clean, and public bath and outdoor onsen were amazing. Free noodles and coffee were nice. Would definitely stay here again next time in Nagano.

Spic 'n span Dormy Inn”
It was obvious right from the lobby/front desk that this is a newer Dormy Inn (built in 2016). Everything is new and shiny. Complimentary hot beverage machine is available for self-serve anytime in the lobby and in the cafeteria, which is great (try the cocoa). Staff was courteous and professional. The sauna was excellent and clean from what I saw. The one downside is that we were told they don't have on-site parking, and yet, we saw they had their own parking garage AFTER we already paid to park our car elsewhere.

Breakfast was good with no. of choices. Free ramen between 930pm to midnight. Onsen was well-maintained. Staff was polite & helpful. Less than 5mins walk to the train station. I had an enjoyable stay in Dormy Inn. Highly recommend Dormy Inn, worth the money.

Defenitely I recommend this hotel and this nice Nagano city. I stayed 4 days, the room is not big, but the hot spring and the local noodle which hotel served were good. The hotel staff was so nice too. If there were guidance about welcome coffee and Tv system that we can check the crowdity of hotspring, it would be more great. But I had good stay, thank you.

Wonderful amenities”
The hotel room is small as common in Japanese cities, but the amenities were wonderful. The onsen (common bath) were amazing with a lovely outdoor bath as well as inside bath and sauna. The only negative was the hall light is motion controlled and goes in anytime someone used the restroom.

Really Enjoyable and Satisfying Experience”
First of all, there was many choices for breakfast. The food is really tasty. The hotel is located near the station, so it is very convenient. For the area of Hot Spring, the environment is beautiful and clean. The shower has massage function. I felt really enjoyable. The hotel room was big that two 28" luggage can be opened. Finally, the service quality is good and I will definitely recommend this accommodation to my friends.
