Quiet area, spacious room”
Although not located near a central station, the distance meant the area was nice and quiet and not overrun with crowds of tourists. The hotel also provides a free shuttle bus to Tokyo Station if you need. Right next to the hotel is the kodenmacho station, you are still easily connected to many major sights via this train line (Tsukiji fish market is just 4 stops away). We booked the Japanese twin tatami room which was extremely spacious (still had room to walk with 2 large suitcases open) Definitely make use of the onsen during your stay there. The hotel also provides hot beverages and free ramen till 11pm at night so if you arrive late in the evening, you can still grab a bite. Will definitely stay in Dormy Inn again for my next trip

Best value for money hotel ”
I travel every week somewhere in the world and it was my second time in Dormy Inn Premium Tokyo Kodenmacho. Just like the previous time: loved it! It is the best value for money hotel I have ever been to. The spa is marvellous and even though the rooms are small then you have everything you need there.

Excellent Location, Free Onsen, Noodle and Shuttle Bus”
I'm glad to choose this hotel as the location is excellent in Tokyo, as it just next to 7-11 (small) and Kodenmacho (Tokyo Metro Hibiya Line) station. If you want more convenience stores, there are big 7-11, small and big Family Mart, and 2 big local supermarket that provide various local items, I like to shop all these shops and buy different desserts and quick items. This hotel also provide free onsen at 11th floor, free ramen noodle from 9.30pm-11pm, free coffee/chocolate drink from machine, free 2 bottle water everyday in room mini fridge, and free shuttle bus from morning 7am-10am (every 30mins) to Tokyo Station. The tatami room is spacious where 4 of us (2 adults and 1 older kid and 1 younger kid) can sleep well there, big luggage enough to open in room too. I will stay in this hotel again if I ever come back to Tokyo, highly recommended to everyone but do remember to book early.

Value for money stay for reasonable budget”
The room size is reasonable. Spacious toilet and bathroom. The onsen place is well equipped and clean. The outdoor Onsen is very good. Good system with locker and pin code for ladies. The staff is very helpful when I asked for ways. They searched and printed a copy for me. Location is very good. It is just a few minutes' walk from Kodenmacho Station Exirt 3. Once you come up to ground level, it is on the left side and can be seen immediately. Also the station is not big. It is a short walk to the exit from the gate. I did not have time to taste the complimentary soba. It is also good that there is complimentary shuttle to Tokyo Station. The hotel really almost equip everything. My booking does not include breakfast. The hotel boasts of providing ultra-soft water and you feel that the skin is soft after bathing. I booked at agoda which I happened to get a very good price on Friday. However the rate for Saturday was very high. I did not stay in this hotel.

Great Hotel with Open-air Hot Bath near Tokyo station”
Pros: -The location of the hotel is just besides Tokyo Metro Kodenmacho station, literally 30 seconds walk from the Tokyo Metro Exit. - There is a 7-11 convenience store just below the hotel - There are public hot baths (both indoor and open-air) and sauna on the 11th floor of the hotel, which is a great facility to relax yourself - The room has reasonable space and nicely designed, with USB charging ports conveniently located top of the bedside table. - Free shuttle service (only in the morning) is provided to Tokyo station Cons: - WIFI signal was not stable. All my devices were intermittently disconnected from the network.

quite disappointed about their customer service ”
We stayed Dormy Inn Premium Tokyo Kodenmacho - Nihonbashi for only one night, the facility is not new but the onsen/ hot spring was great! After we checked out, a few hours later that evening we found out we lost our cell phone battery at our room, we called to check if the cleaning staff found it, but the attitude from the customer service was pretty bad, he just said no, nothing he found (only by checked our room number), and he apparently not willing to check again, we felt quite surprised of his attitude, so we tried to call the other morning and later the other day, we actually called 3 times with all 3 different people to pick up our phone, but the attitude is equally cold without any sorry or anything they would like to help, only simply "NO". Surely we know that lost the phone battery is our fault, but the customer service is too bad we couldn't believe it happened in Japan, which is so disappointed, no we won't recommend our friends or family to live over the hotel.

Great bang for your buck, amazing hotel in a lovely neighborhood.”
I enjoyed the room, somewhat small but had all the essentials and the blackout curtains were very helpful due to our jetlag. It's location is great, just a few steps from a 7-11 and the Hibaya line, with a free shuttle to Tokyo station if you need it. The baths were absolutely heavenly, I visited every day during our 6 nights at the hotel. Everything you could need is included for you. The service was great, staff was very helpful and friendly. I would definitely stay at a Dormy Inn again! :)

1 min Walk from the Kodenmacho Station”
The hotel is very close to the Kodenmacho Station. Taking a left after the Exit 3, it is just 30 seconds walk. But if you are having a bunch of big luggage, you have to expect a climb on the staircase. The staff is trying their best to speak in English during check in and fortunately we are able to communicate. The room is small but I didn't expect much with the price I am paying to stay in Tokyo. The free Ramen during supper time is absolutely marvelous!! I would say it is one of the best I have ever tried. The Onsen is wonderful but the live time guide on the crowded-ness is definitely out. There will always be people inside the Onsen even though the live time guide showing it is vacant. Be prepared for surprise. The breakfast is excellent. The only small disappointment is that we didn't get to enjoy the fish roe. Overall, the stay is excellent!

Exceptional”
Good onsen. Always try to stay at Dormy Inn when we can. Problem getting taxi from Tokyo main station to this hotel. Had to ask four or five taxi drivers until one agreed to take us to hotel. Shuttle from hotel to Tokyo main station convenient in mornings. Took subway from Ueno to Kodemachi in evenings as the subway station just across street.

Free shuttle bus. Nice spa. Great guestroom.”
I have stayed in a number of hotels by the Dormy Inn chain and found them value for money; and this latest addition is no exception. Just opened in 2016, the Hotel is still in perfectly new and clean condition. The guestroom feels familiar as it looks exactly the same as others in the chain. As always, one of the best selling points of the Hotel is its natural hot spring, which is located on the top floor. It's just a tiny one; but that's OK as I was the only person there. A little surprise is that there is an outdoor bath, which is not as common. A sauna room was also available. It was a relaxing night. Location-wise, the Hotel is not close to the heart of Tokyo; but as free shuttle service to Tokyo Station is offered (running at 30-minute intervals in the morning), I have no complaints at all. It takes only 5 minutes. It is definitely a value for money. Will return.

Has most everything I want”
Good location beside Tokyo Metro's Kodenmacho station. The rooms are kept neat and tidy. The bathroom is small but very well maintained. Ended up using the onsen baths at the top floor more than the room's bathroom. A good soak in the onsen bath is relaxing after a long day of walking. The breakfast is good value with a small selection but of good quality - even had grilled scallops in shell available daily. In addition, there's free ramen supper at night for all hotel guests. The staff were friendly and very helpful, particularly the receptionist helped to call JR East to locate my backpack which I absentmindedly left on the Narita Express.

Thank you for staying at our hotel. The bag that I forgot in Narita Express returned to you, it was really good. You forgot the bag in Japan and you were very scared. Your gratitude words are very encouraging. Thank you very much. If you come to Tokyo again, please do stay at our hotel. We are waiting for you to come to this hotel. Nice place!”
I stayed in a double no smoking room. The room was clean and modern feeling and it made for a comfortable experience. I definitely recommend it if you're traveling by yourself and want somewhere that is clean and up to date yet no too expensive. The hotel is right beside the entrance for the hibiya line and has shuttles going to Tokyo station. Kodenmacho itself is kinda annoying to get to but other than that I thought everything was great.

Overall great stay!”
I've always been pleased with Dormy Inn. This one is also great, with a great onsen for both men and women and delicious free noodles in the evening. The only "bad" thing about this one is that it's 10 min away from many of the stations. There is one station like 10 seconds away, but if you are looking to get all around Tokyo then you are looking at a 10 min walk minimum before getting on a 25 min subway ride.

I always choose Dormy Inn!”
It was not the first time I stayed in Dormy Inn. But it was the first time I visited this one located in Kodemacho. Last time I stayed in Dormy Inn Akihabara. The hot spring, late night supper and the welcome drink were so considerate. It was so great to have hot cocoa on a cold winter day in Tokyo. Plus, the receptionists were always helpful and kind.

Thank you very much for staying at Hotel Dormy Inn Tokyo Kodenma Town this time. I am very pleased that you can always use Dormy Inn. We stayed in Kodenma Town for the first time and we were satisfied. The whole staff was extremely impressed. There is also a public bath on the top floor of the hotel so you can heal it. We are looking forward to seeing you again.
Re-visit: Closer to Tokyo Station than one thinks. Upgraded shuttle.”
Having stayed at the Hotel a few months ago when it was just opened and impressed, I returned for a 1-night stay, and was glad that I did. It still offers great service at a very competitive rate. Further, saving the hustle to locate my bearing in the ever complex train system in Tokyo Station, this time I took a walk from Tokyo Station (Nihonbashi exit) (with the assistance of Google Maps of course). It took only about 15-20 minutes and the Hotel is easy enough to identify. I also found a number of convenient stores and supermarkets en route. Shuttle bus service seems to have been improved in the past few months. The operating schedule is more frequent and the vehicle much more spacious and comfortable. Will return next time.

Superb location & Facilities”
Hotel location is just less than 1 minute walk from Kodemmacho Station. Travelling around Tokyo is a breeze with a subway that close to the hotel. Hotel has a rooftop Onsen which is a great place to unwind after a long day of exploring Tokyo. The Tatami room which I stated in was spacious for a room in Tokyo & worth the price for that amount of space provided. Overall, highly satisfied with my stay and the room location & size.

Thank you so much for staying at our hotel. You posted a high rating. We are very happy. Kodenmacho area is not famous. However, access is very good. The location is also good. The hotel is near the subway station. Please come again. We are waiting for your visit. Dormy Inn Premium Tokyo Kodenmacho Front KATAYAMA
Great location and quality - fantastic Onsen!”
Good transport links and a convenient location with good local food options close by. A business area, but still interesting to explore and very easy to get into famous areas. Rooms are very comfortable, clean, new and well maintained. As with all Tokyo rooms, space is 'efficiently' used! But there is ample storage and the planning of the room is very good. Bathroom is simple but good quality, bedding and linen is fresh and clean. A real winner is the on-site Onsen which includes sauna, indoor and outdoor hot baths. It is really a fantastic place to relax, beautifully maintained and of great quality. The staff are efficient and keen to help your needs. All in all I couldn't rate Dormy more highly, especially for the very

Great!”
It was very good time to stay here. This place is perfectly close to Kodenmacho station, so I could go anywhere I want to go, especially hibiya line like Ginza, Nakameguro, Ueno etc, that was very convinient. Also, staffs are very kind and facilities are clean and useful. If I have a chance to travel Tokyo again, I would stay here again.

Good but not quite "premium"”
Dormy Inn Premium is a cut above a normal business hotel however you also pay a small amount extra for the privilege. You also might want to skip the breakfast and look at some of their competitors. Positives: - Excellent location inbetween a number of stations so you can get anywhere. - Housekeeping did a good job. - Friendly staff. - Public bath. - Free coffee. Negatives: - Breakfast was disappointing and definitely not premium. The quality of Japanese food was average however the western food was all cold (think cold sausage, lumpy cold egg and you will get the idea). Dormy Inn could learn a lot from Richmond Hotel who offer a far far superior home cooked style breakfast. - Small room with average design. - Default pillow is as hard as rock, you need to request a proper one from the reception desk.
