Great Location with warm welcome”
Close to Nankai Numba station 15 mins , shinsaibaji subway staion 5-10 mins and 5 mins to todonburi by walking. 800 M to shinsaibaji area. There is one family mart right on the next door of the hotel. We stayed 1 nigh and left to any city by leaving our luggage there for another booking. When we came back to the hotel we found our luggage in the room. Such a nice service!!! The staff were so helpful and friendly. They also offered the complimentary ramen at night. Nice and clean spring bath. High quality of amenities both in the bathroom and hot spring bath. The general atmosphere and hotel staff made us feel like home. We enjoyed our stay so much. We will stay at dormy inn for our next trip for sure.

Good location and nice service”
This Dormy Inn Shinsaibashi is near to OCAT airport bus terminal, walk about 10 mins. And Dotonbori and American Village are within walking distance. There is a 24 hour minimart within the hotel and hotel is surrounded with many eateries. Dormy Inn rooms are small but all the Osaka nearby hotels are small too. I was in APA Shinsaibashi hotel last year, it was smaller (rooms of same price range). What I like about Dormy Inn is it’s onsen. Hot bath every night was perfect after lotsa walking in the day. Between 9:30pm to 11pm the hotel also provide free ramen 🍜 and our family enjoyed it. If we were back to Osaka again, we will stay at Dormy Inn again 👍

Great location!”
Dormy Inn is your typical Japanese business hotel... not plush, no bells or whistles... Your bed and pillow may be harder than other spots. Your room is small. This is all to be expected. So focus on the price you pay and where you stay! This location is directly in the middle of shopping and restaurants. There's also a Family Mart attached to the hotel. Just a few short blocks away is the Dotonbori... a must visit for all staying in Osaka. While the rooms are small and the bed isn't the best, the location is enough to bring us back next time we stay in Osaka. Staff was helpful as well.

Great first experience in Japan at Dormy Inn - detailed review ”
Everything was very comfortable, clean, convenient, and the breakfast was a great value for 800 yen! The baths were lovely - not over-crowded when we went at night. The staff was friendly, and very helpful for students. We booked multiple rooms and the only thing that stood out was that we could hear the doors from the baths from the 5th floor room during the night. I’m a light sleeper and already wear earplugs when sleeping, and this would have kept me up if I hadn’t brought my travel white noise generator. The rooms on the upper levels, away from the highway side of the hotel were nice and quiet for an urban hotel. I recommend the tatami rooms with futons and a big bed - very nice and comfortable for a group or family!! The double rooms were too small unless you’re a single person or a very efficiently packed couple. We will stay again if we come to Osaka, or explore the other Dormy Inns!!

Perfect place to relax and repair after a long flight from New York - no jet-lag for me!”
I arrived in Osaka at around 9 pm totally baked after flying for about 14 hours. The all night onsen melted the stress and ache from flying from my body, and the complimentary ramen was just enough to keep me from having to go out and look for food. My standard room was cozy but amply-sized and had everything I needed, including good internet connection (not common in Japan). My bed was comfortable and once I settled down, I enjoyed a good sleep. Breakfast was freshly prepared by three cheerful chefs and offered a great variety of delicious food. I write this review on my third morning in Japan, and I really do believe the comfort afforded me by the Dormy Inn helped me avoid jet lag completely. Well worth it even if only for your first night.

Exceptional”
Building and room were slightly old and the room was slightly small. Maybe this is normal for Osaka rooms in general? As with all Dormy Inn accommodation, the hot spring was a delight.

favourite Japan hotel chain”
Been staying in Dormy Inn for most of my JPN trip due to the price and location. Normally located at easy access location but yet not over populated area. This trip was slightly affected on the Onsen in the hotel. Chinese tourist was speaking loudly in the Onsen and their kids was jumping and pouring water all over the dry area. Chinese tourist speaking and yelling loudly in the room and walkway. We could hear it in the middle of the night. All these are just external factor, but all in all, the hotel was amazing. I left my jacket in the room and still waiting for a staff to respond to me.

one stop hotel”
third times i stayed here.. this is one stop hotel which means, the location is strategic, near to shinsaibashi st. exit number 7 then turn right then turn right again after you see D&G. near to shinsaibashi suji where you can shop till drop at night, near to glico. the hotel is beside the family mart where you can find snack when you got hungry at night. for me i never got hungry at night since the hotel always provide free noodles from 9pm-11pm. another great things is they have onsen (well its not hot spring, i forgot what japanese called for this non hot spring place) which i can relaxed after a whole day enjoy osaka. however dont be surprised for its small room.. kkkk..

Dormy Inn Shinsaibashi”
Nice, clean hotel in action area of Osaka. Lots of bars, restaurants, and boutique shops in the immediate area. Dotombori, famous for its resturants, food stalls and bars is about 10 minutes walk through a shopping mall. The hotel is about 10 minutes walk from the Shinsaibashi subway station on the Midosuji line from Osaka and Shin Osaka. If you have a Rail Pass the JR Namba station is also close by but is a longer walk. We stayed here as a base to visit Kyoto and Nara which are convenient by JR express trains from Osaka. The rooms are on the smallish side for a business man's hotel but this is offset by the reasonable price and included breafast. Rooms have free internet and free computers are available in the lobby. Hotel staff are very friendly and helpful and understand English. If you like onsen baths, this one is small but nice. It gets crowded during the morning rush hour starting at 7:30 am.

Very fun hotel!”
Free ramen at night, Japanese bath (onsen) made this hotel a really nice place to stay! The Japanese bath were very clean and relaxing. We were travelling with our 22 month old baby and the staff was so nice and accommodated us by upgrading us to a bigger room! It was so nice! Breakfast was ok. We recommend Dormy Inn! The location is good, but right around the hotel there are lots of nightclubs so not as nice to walk around at night as there are lots of people out smoking and drinking. Still really safe though. Day time is totally fine!

Good value. Good location. Onsen!”
The location within Osaka was great, although the exact neighborhood is just a little on the seedy side. At the point that we stayed here we were certainly accustomed to the typical Japanese hotel room, but somehow this one was tighter than anything else we had experienced. It juts seemed as if there was nothing else that the room could accommodate except the bed. Great touches at the Dormy Inn locations- Ramen in the evening and the onsen was just wonderful.

Ideal stay near Dotonbori! ”
The hotel is right in the middle of all the action, and yet just a short walk from a few different stations. I thoroughly enjoyed the hot springs (one night, there were apples in the water!) and the hours were VERY accommodating for a cit that never sleeps. The free noodles are also super cool!! I love the midnight noodles. <3 My favorite part, which is what will definitely be what brings me back, is that my room had a window seat. I swear I felt like a movie star sitting in that alcove. 10/10 WILL be back again.

Exceptional”
Despite being slightly older than Dormy Inn Premium Namba, the rooms, service and facilities are up to the standard of kyoritsu group. Definitely recommended if you wish for a simple hotel without too many frills.

Great value with nice amenities in a central locations”
We stayed 8 days at the Dormy Inn and enjoyed the stay. The location is great. You can get to a variety of Metro stations within 5-10 minutes walk. Staff was very helpful. Great Onsen bath. We particularly liked the breakfast, and the noodle soup supper. Highly recommend it.

Fun”
My second stay in Dormy Inn was a great one. Pleasant staff that spoke good enough English. Their are many places around the hotel to go and it's also a hop skip and a jump from Shinsaibashi and Namba station. If I had to complain about one thing it's that the hotel room was a little hot and the air conditioner didn't really do it for me. Maybe I didn't find the control switch or something. Fine hotel though.

Good Value, staff and onsen but the quality of the room did not meet expectations ”
This is a low cost hotel but with a nice/new onsen. If you want somewhere to sleep, it does it's job. It also offers free ramen from 9-11pm (like other Dormy Inn) and the staff tried their best to meet all our requirements. Its in the middle of a busy and young area with lots of food and shops. Although a bit of a walk from the station (tiring especially when travelling with our suitcases). The room did not meet our expectations. It did not resemble the photos, it was a dusty small sized room and there is no cold air con (but the staff Kindly helped us install a fan which they were using at the reception). The rooms are quite old and so were the hotel clothes provided.

Building in dire need of refurbishment”
This Dormy in has the same things you expect from a Dormy Inn - a nice indoor bath with fresh fruit, wonderful breakfast and free evening ramen. This location boasts this alongside a great staff which makes it all the more regrettable that the building itself is severely outdated. The bathrooms are outdated and the toilets use a lever to flush. The beds are hard and will make you sore if you are a side sleeper. A personal issue I had was the time they clean the baths - 10:00 to 15:00, which is moreso reflective of the fact that this area of Osaka is moreso one where visitors are active later at night. If I come to Osaka again, I will likely opt for a different hotel.
