Room was a little small (there wasn't space to walk with two opened large luggages) but it was cosy with comfortable bed and had everything we need. Onsen was good although can be congested as it's popular amongst hotel guests. Breakfast was so good with a mix of japanese and western options. Be prepared to start the day very full but super satisfied! Location wise - It's about 5+ minutes walk from the nearest kawaramachi train station.

perfect stay”
the room is a bit small, but as always, it's Japan. Great location! walking distance to almost everywhere. Onsen on the top floor was also very nice. Most of all, airport limousine bus-stop is right in front of the hotel. Perfect in every way. Definitely use the hotel again next time.

Comfortable hotel with car garage near Takamatsu Station”
Hotel in located near the heart of Takamatsu City and a few minutes away from Takamatsu Station (by car). Hotel included an automatic stacking garage to park your vehicle for an additional cost, but it's convenient to have your vehicle stored safely and ready to explore. Room was very clean and the onsen was very relaxing. Breakfast was buffet style with Japanese food, very delicious. I would stay at this hotel again when I visit Takamatsu again.

Excellent Value”
I spent 2 nights in February 2021 and was very impressed by this new hotel. The baths are spotlessly clean and very relaxing. The room is above average size and the bed perfect for my height - 6’2”

Would love to come back again! ”
The bed was big and the room was clean. The location might be a bit far from the station but it was not a problem for us coz we enjoyed walking around the place. One of the best part of our stay here is that there was a VERY GOOD Korean restaurant nearby. We were addicted to korean foods and the restaurant was perfect and not really expensive. Overall we really loved our stay here.

Comfortable hotel at mid-Takamatsu city”
The hotel was clean and neat and we loved it. The hot spring is well maintained. Good for families. We were supposed to book "connecting rooms," but "adjoining room" did not mean it. Be careful.

The location is pretty good, it’s close to a shopping arcade and right opposite a family mart! The car parking was ok, it is one of those parking where you have to goto reception to ask and the parking spaces are in a ‘lift’?, we felt like it was inconvenient to ask to get our car out the car park so we tried to refrain! But overall this was one of our favourite hotels of our trip ( we stayed in 6 hotels in total!) The spa was excellent and the free noodles and drink in the evening was a great touch! Really would recommend Dormy to friends and family and I would look to stay at Dormy again!

An impressively nice hotel, highly recommend, wish other hotels would learn”
The Dormy Inn Takamatsu Chokoenmae is a newly built hotel, which is not updated on Google Map yet(the road view is constructing photo). So, following my Gopgle search, I went to another Dormy Inn(10mins distance) at first 😭. Location is close to the bus stop, little distance from the shopping district. However, the rooftop hot spring and complimentary beer and ramen are soooo good. Especially the soyu ramen is delicious, can't believe it is FREE!!! I got a double bed, Park view. The room was very spacious!! Only some considerable facts are I could hear Korean, Chinese everywhere in the hotel(I am an Asian, but it isn't pleasurable to listen other's conversation especially if they are group tourists...) Also, the pillow can be better. I love to layer two pillows to enhance the softness. Anyway, I wish other hotels would learn this hotel's great service that amaze the customers.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. We stayed in this hotel in mid August. The hotel is still very new, and the facilities were clean, the staff were very engaging and polite. (Kudos to outstanding service from one of the hotel staff, a Shanghainese lady who speaks fluent Japanese. She recommended a few locations to visit in Takamatsu and around the islands.) We stayed in this hotel intending to visit Naoshima, and the location was perfect. It's about 20 min walk to Takamatsu station and the ferry terminal. It's also incredibly close to the shopping arcade, making it easy to have our meals. The hot springs were simple but clean, perfect after a long day of exploring and walking. Amazing hotel, brand new, so many amenities, including a manga library, laundry machines (free!), Microwave oven + hot spring n outdoor bathing, all packed into a brand new building. They provide phone charging cords, WiFi is excellent. Only con is Google map will mislead you to the other Dormy Inn hotel in the city, so extra effort must be taken to ensure you go to the right hotel.
