We prefer Dormy Inn when we travel because we know how excellent their facilities are and how gracious and helpful their staff is. Dormy Inn Toyama is exceptional! New Years breakfast had lots of traditional Japanese holiday food. The best part of staying at Dormy Inn is the ability to wear the yukata anywhere in the hotel including breakfast. Dormy Inn never disappoints and will always be our preferred hotel anytime we travel in Japan. Thank you for a great stay!!

Good location minutes away from castle and other tourist areas. Good breakfast, beds are firm but no bad compare to other beds in hotels. Only thing I did not like there were only one mirror in the room you have to wait for the bathroom to be unoccupied if you are with more people in the room and you are getting ready to go out. Over all good hotel

zen onsen”
Stayed in small double room the first two nights. A bit too small for two ppl, especially the bed! Amazing zen onsen, loved the rubber duckies and solo bath. Late night ramen a plus. Front desk staff extremely nice. Queen size bed was worth the upgrade for our last night! Also remember to ask the front desk for pillow options!

This hotel was great because it is 10 minutes by tram or 20 minutes walking from the train station. It was close to most of the things to do downtown. The onsen inside is small but nice and not too overcrowded when I went. There is draft beer and other vending machines outside of the onsens. The rooms were very basic. Front desk staff was friendly.

Room is small and you need to bring your own towel to the onsen. Free noodle at 9pm, seem to be a tradition in Toyama. Located in city Center.

Overall: A memorable and fabulous experience at Dormy Inn Toyama! Location: Very convenient. 10min walk from JR Toyama Station or take the scheduled shuttle bus from hotel to the station for free. Just 5min leisure walk to the Toyama castle park. Many eateries and convenient stores are just right around the hotel. Hotel Facilities: Nice indoor and outdoor onsen. Washing machine and dryer. Complimentary drinks and soba at night. Room: Clean and comfortable room, reasonable size for twin sharing. Consider good area size in Japan hotel standard. Breakfast: Delicious and healthy selection. Recommendation: Easy access and leisure strolling to spots such as the castle and Songawa river. Great for Sakura and tulips viewing.

I was travelling with husband and young child and look for a leisure precious time. Dormy inn toyama hotel give you whatever required for a happy travelling. Free hot spring, soba, washing machine, close to train station and also shuttle. I really have rilex and fun time in toyama. One miss only they didn't clean our room so we have to manage the trash ourself.the rest was superb

Best place in Toyama ”
We werent sure where to stay after Kyoto so we booked a place in Toyama cause it was next to the coastline . Turns out dormy inn is the best value you can get for your money. The staff is super polite but the rooms are very comfortable by Japanese hotel standards . And the we get to the best part which is its natural onsen with sauna. And to top it off they offer a complementary free ramen from 21:30 to 23:00. Absolutely the best value you can get for your money.

Good Overnight Stay”
The staff at the Toyama tourist office was very familiar with the hotel so we had no difficulty getting directions. It just took us 5-10 minutes to get to the hotel via taxi, costed us around Y700. We checked in around 8pm already and was welcomed by a cozy lobby. We were just there for an overnight stay before we go to the Tateyama alpine route very early the next morning. The rooms were amazingly functional despite the small size-as anywhere else in Japan. I kinda like the sink near the bed because it simplifies preparing coffee, instant soups or noodle cups. The highlight of our very short stay was the Onsen bath at the 2nd floor. We were so busy touring Japan that we missed doing this until we checked in at Dormy Inn. And since it's free, my family went for it. It was a refreshing and relaxing bath and we're so glad we did it. Very clean hotel. Would highly recommend to friends.

Nice and comfortable onsen hotel [hot spring facilities] in Toyama town. Easy access by city bus, just infront of the hotel and near to Toyama train station. Comfortable room and clean bed, like Dormy Inn chain, always provide good facilities for hot spring users. Good spread of breakfast and friendly environment and free delicious ramen for supper after hotspring!

I had a very comfortable stay at the Toyama Dormy Inn. I stayed at Dormy Inn in Asakusa, Tokyo, last year and was not disappointed with my second stay. It's a great value!! I liked the 1km walk down from the station, because I could scout out places to eat and caught some nice views of the Toyama Castle, which is across the street from the hotel. Definitely check out the bath on the second floor!!

Nice!! Room is clean and decent size based on Japan hotel standard, near to shopping malls and restaurants, nice onsen and the only hotel that provide complimentary ramen . Though it is 20mins walk from Toyama station and 12 mins away from Dentetsu Toyama railroad, the hotel make up for it by giving complimentary shuttle in the morning from hotel to Toyama station and complimentary public tram usable all day which also covers certain places of interest. To get to the hotel from Toyama station, take the tram from platform 3 behind the tourist information counter. Take the tram that goes to International Center which is next to Crown plaza hotel or after you see the toyama castle on your left. Not all tram at platform 3 goes to International Center and best to seek help from tourist information counter.
