Above average”
Disappointed with this resort. I didn't see any security considering the history of this hotel. The cost per room per night is quite expensive even more than brand hotels and there is nothing special about this resort. the beach is not clean and coral reef is dead so don't bother snorkeling. Food is "okay" and the staff were amazing.

Nice place and facilities. ”
Staff were nice and helpful. The place is very nice and quiet. Good for relaxation. There was no tv and internet on the villa. The internet in the bar/ restaurant is very weak/ slow.

Relaxing”
The serene place is so relaxing. Good thing, we were about to leave when a big group of tourists came for day tour. Since this place is a highly recommended for Spring break, many tourists come in April.

Paradise in an Island!”
The room needs improvement. It's so plain and simple. So as with the bathroom. Maybe the management can consider a little interior design. Aside from that everything is perfect. The buffet breakfast is good. There's an unlimited coffee and tea at the Restaurant. Hotel staffs were all kind. I will definitely come back:)

Above average”
The transportation from Palawan Island (Honda Bay) to the hotel is being provided by relatively primitive boats; and there is no other reliable option available for transportation; Boat times are not well organized (there should be a boat from the Hotel to Palawan Island (Honda Bay) at 11.00 or 12.00 am); The breakfast is at the quality of an 2-3 star hotel; The rooms are obsolete, needs to be renovated; There is no good place for swimming on the Hotel Island. Seeweeds are almost spreaded everywhere in the sea. Nearby snorkeling area is not good (no good water visibility; corals are almost dead) There is no jet ski; Staff on the Island are very friendly and cooperative. There is a nice small island near to the hotel island, it has better coral area for snorkeling and also better for swimming. But, they organize transportation to this island only in the morning and you can stay maximum 1.5 hour.

Very good”
We booked at Dos Palmas for a relaxing couple weekend. The accommodations were fine by Philippine standards, and the room was clean. However, we were distressed to discover there was no beach swimming or snorkeling; but we had to go on water taxis to other locations for these activities. This took a lot of spontaneity out of the experience. It also takes about 1 1/2 hours by boat from Puerto, which is a bit tiring. Still, it was an interesting experience. P.S. Don't bother with the "ethnic dancing" show.

Get here early!”
This place is great for shorter stays say between 2-3 days. You can pretty much do everything withing this time span, any more might be redundant. All the water activities, snorkeling, kayaking, swimming pools etc. is free. The only exception being Scuba diving - training included with an instructor with you at all times if you're new. Food is great. I've tried the massage there, its a bit of a hit or miss ordeal, experience can vary depending on the masseuse's experience. Travel arrangements are all free. But I strongly encourage you to time your flights or what not to get on the earliest ferry to the island - 8AM i think - because it's gonna take an hour to two to get there and if you take the ferries at later times you'll eventually miss out most of the stuff the resort offers. All sea-related activities is ceased around 5:00pm for safety - it gets dark very soon. Also be careful to not miss the last ferry to the island resort, because under law they are prohibited to provide any further ferry services to the island. Distance to airport is around 10-20 minutes, 10 minutes to Robinson's mall. that's all I can think of on top of my head at the moment :)

Lovely tranquil resort island”
My girlfriend and I stayed here for a week in March 2017 and it lived up to expectations. The staff are without exception friendly, helpful and accommodating. The food is inexpensive and excellent quality. The accommodation was large, comfortable and had everything we needed including a safe, refrigerator, hair dryer and modern bathroom. The transfer from the airport was trouble free and well organised. The island itself is nice, the beach and reef close to the island are lovely for snorkelling. If I was to criticise anything, there are a few maintenance issues that would possibly irritate some people, like several broken tiles in the games area. This did not bother us but some people look for things to complain about, so mentioned it. Overall we really enjoyed our weeks stay and would definitely return again.
