Dos Palmas is a winner! ”
Dos Palmas is a lovely resort which exceeds expectations. The rooms were nice and clean, the food in the restaurant is really good and well priced, the spa treatments were well priced and the kayaks are free to use. I'd come back.
Superb food menus and excellent personnel service!”
We stayed only for one night but the service all throughout was really great. Plenty of things to do on the island including watching cultural shows and fire dance at dinner and we were ably assisted by the lovely staff during our check-in, kayaking, snorkeling, island tour at their sand bar. All personnel was very attentive to our needs and the staff made sure our stay would be really enjoyable. I will definitely recommend this resort to our friends. Kudos to a great job by that in-charge in the snorkeling area, kayaking, and sand bar tour.
Relaxing Holiday Resort”
We had the most relaxing time on one of the most beautiful islands we have ever stayed on. the staff are really friendly & very hospitable. The resort manager could really learn from the staff how to greet guests and extend hospitality. in 6 days of spending time on the island we never got to meet him even though we saw him in the dining room & other places. We will however return because of the staff & the beautiful renovated room & resort . The spa experiences were amazing & special mention must be made to Raine who gave me of the best swedish massages. Harvey the lifeguard must also be mentioned for being so polite & helpful towards helping us with towels and chairs. The cultural dances at dinner on friday & saturdaywere fantastic. We look forward to our next visit
the place to be when you want to detox. tranquil and relaxing place. had fun doing stargazing. one thing, however, please update your menu. this is our second time at your resort and we still have the same menu.
Paradise Island. Reasonable accomodation. Very basic breakfast/menu.”
The island is a gem!!! Hotel was well organised picking us up at the airport, transferring us to the port for a 1hr boat ride. Our luggage was carried by staff which was very helpful. A very relaxed atmosphere, but be warned they rely on day trip tours which arrive around lunch time making the place very noisy/busy.
Love this place”
Ryan the life quard is a legend. If someone could show him all his good tripadvisor reviews as he has never seen them! All the staff were amazing, particularly manny the dive instructor. The food was also delicious and highly recommend the pina colada!
Stayed for 2 nights in December 2018”
Excellent customer service, very accommodating staffs. Great facilities, great ambience. We supposed to stay there just for 1 night but we had to extend it for another night because 1 night is not enough to explore the island. Plenty of activities to do. We had a great time at the resort.
Nice place but horrible food!”
The place is nice for the money but certainly not anything like a Marriott, Sheraton, etc... Food is atrocious so beware! If you are on a budget it is a nice place for a family to go.
Staff are great...”
The whole place is rather tired and needs upgrading. Wifi and technology is sadly very very poor for this day and age. There is no Wifi in the rooms and even the wifi in the public areas failed to work for our entire stay. Food is not great with way too much fried & fast food on the menu.
Dos Palmas resort.... Lovely place people food .... Great rooms with stunning views comfy bed massive size ... Beach is superb clean and small baby sharks swimming around... possible to snorkel for free in their spot lot relax on different island.... If u want something different .... Don't hesitate just go...
Great staff but old facilities”
5 star for the staff but not value for money. They don't have buffet breakfast or dinner, considering it's peak season. Facilities are nice but a little old. Waited for an hour before our airport transfer arrived. But good thing, airport transfers are included in the package.
Pricey Resort With a So-So Buffet”
Dos Palmas is beautiful, but I don't know if it's worth the price. The room was huge with a big balcony. The buffets for dinner and breakfast, on the other hand, were a little lacking. They have bicycles that are free to use, but they're all in poor condition. The pool is beautiful and kept sparkling clean.
Luxury experience ”
This resort is very nice, staff are polite, accomodation is clean and big. There is possible for free trip at the small island, rent the kajak and snorchling. Lunch's buffet is 550p and diner's buffet 650p or you can order from the menu list. Buffet was great, tasty and all the meals were available for all the buffet time.
Love this place!!!”
This resort was awesome. We stayed for 2 nights. The staff spoke English and were all very helpful and polite. Our room wasn't anything special and there was no TV or wifi but there was a balcony with an awesome beach view. The room was clean and huge. The resort itself was so relaxing. We all got massages from their spa. They included snorkeling and kayaking in our package and having those activities was awesome. There are hammocks all around the resort, and 2 pools. They also have table tennis and pool tables. Staying for 1 night would not be enough to enjoy all that they have to offer. It was my favorite out of all the places we stayed at. The food at the restaurant was great for me, and not too expensive. They lacked a little bit of variety as we were running out of options by our 2nd night BUT the dessert menu was bomb! Another thing to note is that the boat ride to get there and back could be wavy so just be prepared and maybe take a motion sickness pill.
it felt like i had a long sweet dream ”
nothing else really mattered to me. a small island in the middle of nowhere. quickly changing weather. corals, sea anemones, giant clams and thousands of fish. clean emerald sea. and fire dancing by night. need i go on?
It's an awesome place if you want to get away from the rat race ”
I couldn't fault anything it was one of the best places I've been the staff are awesome especially Ray Bernie Abby at the bar and Ryan at the pool we only stayed 3 days I wish it was longer but thanks too you all we will be back .
Great relaxing resort”
We really enjoyed our few days here. The island is beautiful and the resort and staff is really nice. Food is good with plenty of options. Plenty of things to keep you busy (island hopping tour, scuba, snorkeling, swimming, tennis, basketball, kayaking, paddle boards, etc). Multiple daily ferry options to Palawan island to do things there as well if on an extended stay and need more options. Sunsets were picturesque. I was originally a little concerned with being isolated on an island resort. Those concerns quickly disappeared. The entire family wishes we could have stayed there a few more days!!
fishes like maldives...”
those fishes swimming around are surreal. And the snorkel activities is one you will never forget...
Location and facilities are really great and memorable”
The island is good, food is great, we can see many corals and fishes in snorkeling, we can kayak boat anytime
Beautiful tropical Island”
We stayed here for 1 night and instantly regretting not booking at least 2 nights the minute we got off the free boat transfer ride onto the jetty. Dos Palmas felt like you had your own private tropical island and we loved every minute. The openair but undercover restaurant was delicious with great prices. The pool was amazing as was the beach. We will be back.
