Awful Awful old hotel pretends to be a 3 stars hotel. 1. There is very slow “free” internet connection in the room, even for using Facebook (!). I had to buy local internet sim and used for my phone and laptop. Cause the connection was disappearing sometimes, for 30 min-1 hour. 2. Dirty windows, curtains, towels, dirty walls. 3. Broken shower (flowing all time). 4. Broken pipe in a bathroom. When I used a sink, a water was flowing to the floor a lot! 5. The worst breakfast in my hotel experience, really. There were a cold fried rice, a bit of vegetables, cold boiled eggs, bread, butter, something looked like noodle, “coffee” and other drinks. 6. An incredible slow elevator. 7. Unfriendly staff. I asked to check out at 1 pm, but staff was knowing the hotel is almost empty, refused. The positive things: 1. Location- there are many cafes around, small store (a sort of 7-11), thai embassy is in 100 meters across the street. 2. A big size of the room.

Great place for Visa Run. Easy recommend.”

Literally, across from the Thai Embassy. Wake up. Have an ok breakfast (not a judgement, just not a breakfast kind of guy) Real black coffee, not in a sugar package was great! Walk out the door across the street, and BAM! You are now in line at Thai Embassy for Visa run. Next day, pretty much same thing for afternoon pick up. Staff at hotel was very helpful when I needed help with a phone call following a mix-up with an online travel booking that required a Lao speaker on the phone. Thanks again for your help, sir and mam!

Good hotel if you’re on a (thai) visa run”

If you’re as me here to apply for a Thai visa this hotel is really good as it’s just 100 meters from the Thai consulate. The price is ok. The hotel itself has seen its best years but it works if you’re just here for a couple of days. Breakfast is very basic but it works. The room was not so clean with some spider web and old toiletries left in the bathroom. Didn’t talk anything with the staff except for the check in/out but they seemed friendly and spoke some English.

Perfect for those getting Thai Visa”

This place is literally across the street from the Thai Embassy. Tons of tuk-tuks to take you anywhere. A nice handful of cheap eats within walking distance. Anyone that complains about this place when paying only $22 is an idiot. My room was very clean, spacious, good wifi, couple bottles of water & no problems with getting hot water from the shower (water pressure isn't very strong, but it did the job). I didn't eat breakfast, so can't say. It's all about convenience, right? Can't beat this place....

          Met my main travel need”

Close to place of my intended activity, big room and friendly staff

It's an accommodation great for people on visa runs to Thai Consulate at Vientiane. The hotel is about half-an-hour walk to Vientiane City. A bit of a mixed-up at check-in but was resolved quickly. I was unfortunate to share the floor with a group of drunks who talked loudly and slammed doors after midnight. Fortunately, they were a few rooms away, and I was too tired after the overnight van ride to be disturbed by them. Breakfast was good and check-out was quick.

It was convenient. The room was big. The room was clean.

I was going to Vientiane to go to the Thai consulate to get a visa. I could not have picked a more convenient place to stay - right across the street. It was pleasant and the room was big and clean. Not a five star but certainly good enough. I would recommend it to anyone who needs to get a visa.

Very close to Thai Consulate, clean room and toilet, good service at a reasonable rate.

I found this hotel perfect for those applying for a visa in Thai Consulate which is in a couple of minutes walk. Neighboring hotels are not significantly cheaper and rather look like guesthouses. A simple but clean and comfortable place with good quality service and fast free W-Fi. Like many other hotels in Vientiane, make sure that you are back before 11:30pm, otherwise you may need to wait for a good while to get in (if you are lucky).

          Located opposite Thai Consular

Best accomodation offer for thai visa applicants. Located on the opposite side of road, hotel is new and clean but walls are quite thin and transmit noise from your neighbours very well. Free Wi-Fi at rooms and lobby. Breakfast isn't perfect and very simple - fried\scrambled eggs and toasts with instant coffee or tea.

Quiet, good access to local services and Thai Embassy

Initially I was skeptical about being out of the city area - this hotel was great, large rooms, friendly staff, clean, mini mart across the road for food, some restaurants close by, Tuk Tuk outside if you wanted to go to the river, very quiet. I would stay here again for my visits, instead of queing across the road at the Embassy, I could wait in the reception AC until I wanted to venture over to the line. Breakfast was fine, assorted choices of cooked foods and fruits. For the cost it was a 5 star. I stayed on the 2nd floor, there are 5 floors and a lift. If you want to party this is not for you, if you are a family then it is appropriate and if you want quiet then this is a definate place to stay.

          Hotel location”

The hotel is located directly across the road from the Thai Consulate (Thai Visa). Most of the staff were helpful. The air conditioner was not very effective but luckily the weather was not too warm. The breakfast was acceptable and the serving staff were helpful.
