Lovely hotel and service with a smile”
the location maybe disappoint some of you,but for me is not so far from the night life and market of silom.without traffic ,you can be there in less than 10 minutes by taxi,or you can take brt(never stuck in traffic),that the bus station is one minute walking from the hotel.from there you will stop after 3 stops at the end of the route,and in 2 minutes walking, you will be at 'chong nonsi' bts skytrain station. double two@sathorn is a 3 star hotel,dont expect something more,simple but beautiful,and in a great condition cause its brand new,and of course very clean.it looked like that i was the first resident in that room!!its very quiet,probably cause there are not so many residents,and its very comfortable for someone that needs to rest.personally,i would prefer to be more far from the markets and etc,and can rest at night,than to be near to the 'night life',and have every night a terrible sleep.doesnt mean that there arent other quiet hotels in that area.i m just giving my opinion for that one.and also,big value for money!!!!

excellent service and quite room”
I booked 2 ninghts in Double two at first. The hotel room is big and clean. The place is quite. The reception girl named Kob is very helpful and friendly though her english is not that good.she even called to tell me how to go khao san road from the grand palace!How nice of her! We extend two more days at there. Only one thing not that good is their location, there's no restaurants around there. we need to take BRT to chong nonsi BTS station to find food!haha. but thats not a big problem for us.

Great little gem near business district”
this is a great place to stay! i highly recommend the place if value for money is what you're looking for. i found the room clean, comfortable and had all amenities i needed in a short stay. a free communal computer in the lobby giving you free access to the internet was certainly a plus!! the staff were accommodating and helpful. the location was perfect for us on business trip as it's just right off the brt (bus) station which is 3 minutes from sathorn road where you can then get on a sky train (bts).

Good location, great room, I'm sorry for my arrival 6:00 reception was closed. I was worth the effort to find the keys to my room they left a guard, who does not speak in English. wherein the door was no plaques where you can take the keys Room good, to my regret on a chair in the room, I found two large pieces of glass I'm glad I did not cut myself Internet only for one device If you travel a couple it would be inconvenient

A perfect budget place in the middle of BKK”
I stayed for one night and was perfectly happy with everything. The room was comfortable, new and clean. Love the shampoo and soap in the bathroom. The convenient location near BRT station. The receptionist was polite and friendly with quick check in and checkout. Most of all, the price is very affordable, especially for a place in the middle of the city like this. They didn't even charge more for the New Year night.

excellent for the price”
I needed a place for an over night stay. So I was after a cheap place in Bangkok. It was certainly that, cheap. But I was very surprised and happy with the hotel. It was clean and quite. The bed was a bit hard but I have found hard beds are a thing and quite common in the cheaper hotels . As some other comments have said the front desk staff did not have great English but what do you expect from a hotel. The English might not been great but they were very helpful, if you need an English staff you should pay a little extra. All in all I would stay there again.

There is BRT station nearby. you only take 2 minutes walk to station. And you only take within 10 minutes from the hotel to CBD Area. it make me no need to wake up too early. large room, very quiet location.”
The Double Two is a very nice apartment block, (not a hotel in any shape or form) these are apartments and the location is miles away from anything to do. Nearest sky train station is Chong Nonsi and do not take advice from other comments, it is a very long walk, definitely not 2km away. However, there is a bus service at the end of the road (5 min walk) which is superb and will get you to Chong Nonsi by bus in less than 10 minutes for only 5 baht but forget about walking. We are a couple with a baby and pram and it was the worst walk we've done, loads of broken pavements, narrow pathways, motorbikes driving on the pavements, horrendous traffice, noisy, polluted, welcome to Bangkok! so don't attempt to walk to Chong Nonsi sky train. Apart from that, room was large and clean, we had a balcony looking over the tennis courts that was nice. Be warned the tennis enthusiasts start playing at 6am, but we didnt mind as we are up early anyhow. There is nowhere nearby to buy food, except for a small convenience store next door that sells snacks and coffee and beer. However, there is a microwave on the ground floor that residents use to cook microwave meals (we bought some from seven eleven when we was in Siam) The receptionist was lovely, but her english was very basic but my wife speaks Thai so it didnt affect me too much. So my summing up would be, it's a nice place to stay on a budget and you dont mind a bit of travelling to get anywhere and very quiet location. Great internet and we loved the shower and the security staff were great too.

Not happy”
For the price perhaps this is what you can only expect in Sathorn. Location is near BRT station. But huge road sewage construction at the moment leaving massive holes in the ground all along the front door. Parking lot is tiny and mostly reserved for monthly renters. If you arrive at night, expect only a parking security to give you the keys as no one mans the office. Room is bare with a small double bed. Would I stay there again, no. But for this price, there are few other choices in downtown Bangkok, so you need to pay up or accept the shortfalls.

Very Quiet ! ^^”
This was my second stay here and enjoyed it yet again. Friendly staff ! Very accommodating and willing to help. I loved the peace and quiet this place had, you'll get a very restful sleep here. Nearby mall within walking distance (around 10-15 min walk). BTS a little far but I usually took taxis anyway. 60-70 bht to Siam or Central World. (Watch out for rip-off tuk tuk drivers or taxis who will overcharge if you're not paying attention). The room was very spacious, and CLEAN. The housekeeper is VERY GOOD at her job. Receptionist Kob VERY nice.

Great value for money...”
Good were the cleanliness of the room and well maintained, good air conditioning, located close to the main road to get easy public transport into town, either by bus number 77, or the Rapid Bus System. Not so good was the lighting in the room, only one central light fitting in the whole room, with a day-light white bulb.. apart from that minor issue, everything was fine.

Great little hotel that is near the subway line. Very friendly and helpful staff! It is not in the middle of the action but the subway is so easy to navigate. A great restaurant just south of the hotel where you can eat to your heart's content for less than $5a

It's a ice hotel, very clean with extremely friendly staff. The hotel is but rooms are relatively small. It's a bit far from downtown but has easy access to public transport.

nice and quiet hotel”
Hotel is new and clean, room was spacious and comfortable, but there was a tennis court next to, so its quite noisy in the morning. There is a small shop on 1st floor. Hotel is located close to BRT station (about 5 min walk), which connected with Chong Nonsi BTS station (metro).

Located at the heart of bangkok, cheap price”
The room should have more neon light, the room I stayed had only 1 neon light so it was quite dark, personally I like bright room but hotel has only 1 neon light at the middle of room, it was not enough. Other than this everything was ok, good location , cheap price and clean.
