While we appreciated the host's gesture of accommodating our wish to assess the ambiance before deciding on dining, a particular interaction with a female staff member left us unsettled. Her abrupt query, "What do you want? You don't want to dine here?" conveyed an unwelcoming tone, implying that if we were hesitant about dining, we should leave. This off-putting exchange influenced our decision to depart, as we felt our presence was not valued or respected, hence in return there is no point for us to pay for their service. Additionally, the hotel lobby was under construction work during our stay, preventing us from experiencing the grandeur of the lobby as it was intended. Overall, while the hotel presented comfortable accommodations and affable staff at the front desk, the inconsistent housekeeping, the discourteous encounter at the rooftop establishment, and the ongoing lobby construction colored our stay with mixed feelings.
