good location”
I think it is a good hotel for business trip. Which is in the city centre and very close with our business partner. Regarding the room facilities which have ceiling window let us see outside nice view, free wifi, electronic tea maker...are most convenience. Next time I will also choose DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel London - Westminster and highly recommend to my friends.
Great location”
It was a short stay, however the convenient location in such a busy time of year made all sight seeing possible by foot. There was an easy checkout option which took time off from waiting inline to checkout. Had been travelling for a period of time and it was the best nights sleep I had on my whole journey. Certainly would choose Doubletree Westminster again, walking distance to both Victoria coach & train staitions were close by.
Great Modern Hotel with Lovely Touches”
you cannot fault the doubletree westminster. the rooms are a decent size, there is free internet, imacs in the room, it is modern, the staff are friendly and so on. there is very little to fault. my only complaint is that when it was mint hotels they used to have a daily special offer menu in the restaurant, this has been removed now and so dining options are quite pricey.
Wrong booking ”
I think it is wrong booking, we book Hilton hotel near Victoria station, when we arrived we just found the booking hotel is in Westminster. Therefore we have to take taxi to the hotel. Lucky thing is we still could go to Westminster station by 13 min walk. And during this walk we could enjoy the scenery of Westminster Abby and Big Ben. That is really beautiful. I will stay this hotel next time. It is very good price to get this room.
Doubletree by Hilton Westminster, London”
Spent 4 nights while touring the city. The best feature was it's proximity to Westminster being an easy walk to the centre of London. It was excellent value. The staff were helpful and the rooms comfortable. Didn't have breakfast there as it was too expensive! There were some nice coffee shops on Horseferry Rd. which was a short walk from the hotel. Altogether, a very nice stay. It will be even better when the construction is complete. You can be forgiven for the noise etc. as long as the prices don't go way up when it's finished.
Lovely hotel nothing was to much trouble”
it was well worth the money for a central hotel in london the staff where excellent and friedly, the service ,food, and very clean hotel. the only thing was it was a bit of a walk from the tube station at westminster but that was my choice to walk and not get a taxi (cheaper)
Suited the purpose.”
We checked into our standard double room; which did exactely what it said ont eh tin, but the room was on a low level and looked out intot he courtyard so we felt a bit 'overlooked' by other rooms and it was quite dark. We rang reception to ask if there was a higher leve l and different outlook, this was no problem for reception (luckily for us) and we were swapped straight away. The higher level felt much brighter and therefore more spacious. Outlook was the front road, which was fine for us. We weren't overlooked by anyone else (building site opposite). The staff were very friendly & helpful, the hotel is newly refurbed and very clean and sparkly. Overall a very good stay; would stay again. Although I add we had an advance booking deal; which I think in London is value for money. Not sure I'd pay their higher rates as for the same price I can get somewhere more convenient (for me) - we work in London & stay over regularly.
Great location and excellent service”
The hotel's location was great; 5min. walk to the Palace of Westminster and Big Ben. Close to the tube. Hotel itself modern and elegant, provides excellent customer service. We arrvied two hours before the check in time and we were given a room. They also welcomed us with a warm and delicous chocolate chip cookie. The rooms were clean, spacious, nicely decorated and equiped with all what we needed. We really enjoyed our stay there.
Excellent time in the DoubleTree”
I loved the DoubleTree. The cookies when we get there were absolutely delicious. The beds were so comfy. The room was so nice, very clean. The computer/internet in the room was such a nice touch. I've never been to a hotel that provided a computer in the room. It was amazing - made me want to come back. However, both nights I was there, my shower was extremely cold. Not sure why, but that was very disappointing.
Very nice stay”
my husband and i stayed here because our son who lives in london was getting married at a venue near by to this hotel. we welcomed by a very friendly and inviting staff and received our luggage immediately. the bell hop explained what there was to know about the room ie. where the coffee maker was, how to operate the inroom tv which also functioned as a computer to access email, in room refrigerator, safe etc. we went to have lunch at the restaurant which was very modern and comfortable. the food was tasty. the only thing i had an issue with was the difficulty in controlling the temperature in the bathtub. we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would come again.
Lovely modern hotel”
We Really enjoyed our stay at the double tree hotel. The staff were very helpful and the free chocolate cooking at check in was yummy! Great views from the room! London tube station very close don't use Westminster use pilico so much closer! The only disappointment was no tea making facilities in the room, although there was bottled water. I would recommend this hotel
Great Hotel, Great Location and good size rooms ”
The Hotel is set in a good location but not on a busy through fare so it is quite quiet. The Hotel is modern and clean and the rooms are a good size for London. Reception was quick, friendly and once completed a warm cookie is presented to you which I thought was a nice touch. The rooms are modern and clean and for London a good size with all the extras. Nice Hotel I will ve statying again.
fantastic”
EXCELLENT,EXCLUSIVE no more can describe. I wish I can stay longer n if I come to London again i will definitely return to double tree by hilton Westminster
Just Okay. ”
It's not really in the heart of Westminster but if you like taking long walks, you can walk to Westminster Abbey, Westminster Cathedral, Victoria Palace Theater and not too far from the river. (But it is still quite a walk). Not much food options around the area and the breakfast wasn't all that great either. Room size quite small but mattress and bed sheets were comfortable. Bathroom was tiny too.
Great stay, great location”
The hotel is in a great location within walking distance of Parliament, Westminster Abbey, etc. The MAC in the room is a nice touch. The room wasn't extravagant but comfortable and clean. The staff was very friendly and efficient. The price wasn't a steal, but fair.
Great Hotel and lovely welcome from staff.”
Stayed for 3 nights bed and breakfast, breakfast was lovely each morning and hotel had a good selection, fruit, cereal and the option of a hot breakfast. Staff were lovely and very helpful. Have been to London quite a few times in last two/three years and this is by far the best hotel I have stayed at.
It was a lovely location with excellent service”
It was a lovely stay myself and my partner appreciated the break and the short distnace from the tube made the great location. Right next to Tate Britain and a stones throw from Central London. The service was excellent, very friendly staff and very nice atmosphere created by all of the staff team. Dispite their currently being renovation works on a building opposite we did not here a noise from this. As usual from this chain the adorable cookie on arrival. A warm treat for a warm atmosphere. I will definately be returning.
Excellent hotel but location a bit inconvenient”
There's free wifi. They also provide a mac in each room which doubles as a TV. Quite handy. The negative was the mouse didn't work because of the glass table top. The rooms were comfortable and modern. It's not near any metro/underground station, but it's about a 15/20 min walk to westminster. Otherwise you can catch the 88 or 3 bus routes nearby which will take you to Piccadilly Circus. The free cookie at checkin was delicious.
Excellent hotel in great location”
From check in to check out this was an excellent stay, staff were top class. Hotel in backwater of Westminster only minutes from Westminster Abbey.
Exceptional”
An excellent hotel near many of the London attractions. We didn’t expect this nice of lodging for a reasonable cost. We were just an easy walk to Buckingham Palace but equally close to the Thames river and the boat trips. Also we found good restaurant/pubs close. Our hotel felt like a home base in a big city. The staff was very helpful to steer us first timers in the correct direction. And the breakfasts were very tasty. We used the subway and buses to get to some of our destinations. Thank you.
