Al Hotel Is Bad”
All Hotel Is Bad, and the service was very bad, all over experience is the worst ever,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
Very well located from ferry that takes you to Europe side and other tourist locations. Very well located from various kind of ATM and money changer Lots of Restuarants/ bars and fast food like mac Donald / Burger King at 5 mins walk. Hotel was suppose to provide airport transfer but they had no idea what the agoda voucher means as when questioned they told us that transport to be provided by agoda (A BIG LAME EXCUSE) Best would be to book hotel well in time as they provide you with small crampy room (as we booked deluxe room, again they do not know what agoda voucher mean) after lot of argument we managed to get upgrade but had to pay extra. PROPER CONFIRMATION IS MUST BEFORE PROCEEDING THERE AND GET STUCK WITH CRAMPY ROOM OR UPGRADE WITH EXTRA CHARGES.
enjoyed every moment”
the location of the hotel is amazing, close to Kadikoy bar streets, restaurants and also close the boat terminals to go to the European side. Quite easy to find the place too. Inside the hotel, the room is big, clean and newly decorated. the staff was very helpful. very nice place to stay at the Asian side.
Great hotel for visiting Istanbul”
Great location at the ferry port to reach all sites in Istanbul. Very local place with lots of restaurants and shops around. They have a bar on the roof top with nice view. Free wifi. Also managed a very early check-in w/o problem. Very friendly service otherwise. From / to the airport, instead of taking a taxi all the way (around 120 TL), take the sea bus (9 TL p.P.) and a short taxi ride from / to the airport to / from the ferry port.
Well decided, modern hotel, but......”
It was a pretty nice hotel, but just don't believe them for the promotion to upgrade the room, they didn't give us all the rooms with sea view. And the bkft was not worth for 50TL.. One of our room even has problem with toilet.....
We stated for 5 nights and it was very pleasant. Rooms are much bigger than in old town, hotel facilities are very good, you can run on the waterfront promedade and the surroundings are very nice: traditional market, lots of bookstores, coffee shops, restaurants, very European... Easy connections by boat to everywhere. Only downside: if you will stay late on the European site, taxi will cost 20-25 Euro. But this is acceptable compared, for example to the higher rate, no free wifi and smaller room in Double Tree Sultanahmet.
Short but sweet”
Hotel itself is great with walking distance to Bosphorous river on the Asian side of Istanbul. The area is very happening with a lot of shops and restaurants. However; Sultanahmet area is recommended from a tourist perspective.
Nick and Hatice ”
Hotel was great staff excellent and helpful . Cem simge thank you for your assistance. Cleaners need to be bit more careful and dilligent.
This hotel is Awesome - the staff were very pleasant and professional, and the facilities were great. The hotel's location is also quite strategic as it is near to all transport as well as shops and restaurant in Kadikoy. I am already planning my next stay at here. Excellent Hotel and staff!!!
Corner room was spacious with private jacuzzi and coffee maker. Comfort bed friendly staff specially at the breakfast buffet . We had a gift cake for our honeymoon. Thank you Doubletree by hilton moda.
Strategic location hotel”
This hotel is located in the best place in Kadikoy area, 7 minutes walking to shaher hatlari ferry port, metro, bus stations, taxi and also Haider Pasha train station. The best part is the pool on top so this will diffenetly save your time and money to reach the European side of Istanbul. The nigative things are: Very tinny standards room and the left is too slow and needs card access when sometimes someone else take it before you scan your card.
great hotel if you wanna stay in krakoy ”
I felt the room sizes are extremely small, and air conditioning is terrible if you want a room facing the sea for the view, however the view is fabulous. Rooftop pool/bar is also very nice. walking distance to local, bars and restaurants. Great neighbourhood to stay in if you don't want the tourist overload that you get at sultanahment or at Taksim. I would stay here again, but ask for a bigger room with better air conditioning.
Good hotel, friendly staff”
It's a nice place to stay but a bit far from all the attractions so we took the boat every day, which is pleasant also but not so handy maybe. Everything was really fine in the hotel, the only thing we did not like was the fact that the pool at the roof was closed, we were looking forward to us it and enjoy the view. We used the pool in the basement, also nice but not by far comparable with the roof of course! They should mention that on their website when they close it I think.
Amazing hotel but quite far away from everything”
We loved the hotel, the rooftop swimming pool had a gorgeous view over the city and was a great way to relax. The rooftop sushi restaraunt was pretty good, however a bit too pricy for Istanbul standards. Would definitely recommend the spa, it was one of the highlights of our experience. The downside of the hotel is the location, as it's quite far away from everything. But there's a ferry terminal that takes you into the European side of Istanbul within 20 minutes, so the location issue can be solved.
Luxury Hotel with Great Service”
The hotel is very clean and professionally managed. I was a little taken back when some dirty water came out of the bathtub when I initially turned it on, but the problem was addressed to our satisfaction. Perhaps that particular room had not been used in a while. We were disappointed that the infinity pool was closed for construction/maintenance. This was not mentioned on the website, but they assured us that almost all pools at that time of year were closed because the hot season had not begun. The location is pretty good as it is close to the boat ferries on the Asian side. If you're looking to go sight seeing in the Old City, I would recommend staying there, but this was our last day and we had toured Turkey so we just wanted a nice place to relax.
Lovely and comfortable hotel with very kind staff”
The hotel staffs are very polite, smiley, relevant and helpful..the room view is very good, you can see bosphorus from your room wondow. Breakfeast is very satisfying and delicious. Hotel location is perfect, close to all publoc transportion and you can go to sultanahmet - blue mosque by boat without entering the terrible traffic
Luxury hotel with good facilities”
This hotel is a landmark on the Asian side of Istanbul. It's situated directly across from the pier where there is constant, yet subdued activity. The facilities are great and the staff at the spa are wonderfully friendly. I would most certainly stay at this hotel again.
i booked doubletree by hilton istanbul-moda for 1 night. but when i reached the hotel i was told that the hotel was fully booked so they can transfer me to another hotel of same standard. the hotel i stayed was radisson blu so i really enjoyed the stay there. all thanks to doubleetree by hilton istanbul-moda team. maybe next time right
Great Location! Great Service! Outstanding!”
i love staying at double tree istanbul moda, although a bit far from the business center of the istanbul, but since i love hotel where i can stay calmly, so double tree istanbul moda is the best to stay to resting your mind. still close to the harbor, you can take ferry to the city crowd around sultan ahmet... but this hotel really near the center of kadikoy city (another part of istanbul) very nice city... the internet is freakin fast and free! awesome!
Good location and friendly staff”
A very friendly staff helped a lot with all questions which i had with a smile. Room had a good city view with part of sea. Very comfortable bed, 2 shower modes. Very close location of sea bus allows to reach airport conveniently (sea bus 40min, bus or taxi 20min). Also you can travel by MetroBus from Kadikoy, which is in 20min by walk or 5min by taxi. Old city (Sultanahmet and so on) is also very easy to reach by a ferry, which station is also in a distance of 3-4 minutes of walk from a hotel. Also there's a shopping district (pedestrean streets) nearby.
