Perfect location, really nice hotel”
I got a really good deal from Agoda for this hotel, didn't know what kind of place to expect but was VERY pleasantly surprised. The service was excellent, concierge particularly; the location was great, very close to Marble Arch tube and 1 minute walk to the great shops of Oxford Street. Also, we walked to London Marylebone station in 10 minutes. The room was really nice, spacious for London with a beautiful bathroom, all clean and well maintained. A bit strange to be at lower ground level, but no problems with that. Breakfast was continental, very delicious, but was surprised when he said full English (advertised as £19.95) was also included in our deal. Great night, would absolutely stay again, just not during the Olympics :P
Convenient location. Room a bit small.”
When we made our reservation, it was called Mostyn now is under Hilton management. The hotel is very close to Oxford Street, Hyde Park and Marble Arch station. The room is small but quite nice. Great choice for sightseeing.
Great location & hotel, ask for bigger room”
Booked to be able to stay close to a friend's wedding. Easy to find, barely 4 minutes' walk from Marble Arch station. Found out on departure that no. 30 bus goes direct to / from King's Cross. Very close to Oxford Street / Hyde Park etc. Helpful if curt front staff. Very recently refurbished therefore very modern. However I wonder regarding the longevity of the work, as some things were of dubious workmanship: toilet door that cannot lock as receiving plate is in wrong place; bath with no plug; light with no on / off switch; media hub with HDMI input but no cables to borrow; a "spa / gym" with no spa. Also the standard room provided is tiny, on 4.5th floor, up a separate flight of stairs (no lift from 4th to 4.5th). Spoke with reception who upgraded to much nicer room at same price. Had breakfast included in Agoda price (great deal). One of the ladies who served us was awesome, friendly, efficient. Food nice but would not pay extra for it at the price they charge. One morning the lady was not there and the other staff were not attentive or caring at all. Would definitely recommend, but make sure you ask for the nicer room and only get breakfast if it is a good deal, otherwise got to the Sainsbury's / M&S / Selfridge's round the corner!
My wife lost her wedding ring and ear rings but the Head of Housekeeping, Edna found it and return them to her immediately. These kind of honesty is very rare to find these days so we really appreciate and valued our fond memories at Double Tree by Hilton Marble Arch Hotel. The other staffs were also very helpful and friendly throughout our stay. *Thumbs up*
Great shopping location, adequate and nice rooms”
Mattress a bit soft for my liking. Rooms quite new and clean. Everything a little squeezed but well designed use of space. Value for money great shopping location although at the Marble Arch end of Oxford Street it's a long walk to the West End. Marble Arch Tube is convenient. Marlybone Station convenient for those wanting to go to Bicester Village cut price branded goods shopping. (1 hour Train journey with a short shuttle coach to the Village).
Amazing Customer Service”
The day I was supposed to check out of my hotel room, I lost my internet connection. I don’t know if it was due to my international phone provider or something else. I couldn’t book an uber ride because of that. Stephanie at front desk was kind enough to help me check my phone setting. However it was so late that I had to rush to the airport. I decided to use the hotel transportation instead. When I got to the airport, Stephanie called me to say that I had left my valuable belongings in the room and that Chelina the housekeeper found them. I almost cried because they were gifts for my mom for Mother’s day. Stephanie shipped my lost items to the US. I am so grateful for the wonderful and honest staffs at double tree Marble Arch. Thank you so much Stephanie and Chelina! 🙏 You have no idea how much this means to me. God bless your good deeds and wishing you success and all the best things in life. ❤️
Great room and friendly staff”
Hotel was recently refurbished. Great quality for the price. Large LCD. Great lighting. Good shower. Dark/sultry colour scheme in room and corridor. Staff were very friendly. As we'd gone for the cheapest deal we thought we'd only get a continental breakfast but were surprised to be able to order anything from the breakfast menu at no cost. Staff also held our luggage until the evening after checkout at no cost. Located just off the end of Oxford street near Hyde Park.
The hotel is perfectly located in Oxford street. All shopping outlets are within walking steps. Very close to marble arch and hyde park and not far from regent park. The staff are friendly and helpful. The room is not very spacious and the price is a bit high. Overall, I had a nice stay.
Good location along Oxford Street”
basically a well located hotel near marble arch tube station and along oxford street with several shopping malls. if you have several luggages arrange for shuttle service to heathrow airport as most of the tube stations are accessible only by stairs. the shuttle service costs 19 pounds and takes last than an hour but depending if it fetches others from hotels along the way. the heathrow express train also costs 19 pounds and takes only 15 mins from paddington train station to the airport, however will still need to take the tube from marble arch to paddington which costs around 2 pounds, so the total is 21 pounds, total travelling and waiting time maybe 30 to 45 mins with the inconvenience of stairs and the crowd. overall a satisfactory stay.
Comfortable hotel centrally located.”
We were well greeted at the Reception. Room though small had a very comfortable bed. However the housekeeping is sadly lacking. Overall, it is a good hotel to stay if anyone wishes to be near Marble Arch and near to some malls.
Great hotel in term of location. It is very close to marble arch, hyde park and oxford street. The staff are welcoming and very cooperative. However, the rooms are not spacious and the price is high compated to the size of the room.
quaint hotel in a superb location”
had a pleasant stay in the best western mostyn hotel. whilst the single room was quite small, it had adequate facilities. the proximity of the hotel to oxford street and to the marble arch tube station was a big draw. also, the food at texture restaurant was great, well worthy of its one michelin star status!
Clean hotel, very good location, but small rooms”
the hotel is well situated about 5 min. walk from marble arch station and the beginning of oxford street, as well as about 10 min. walk to hyde park. friendly staff. small rooms, but that is usual for london central hotels.
It's all about the location”
Expect the Hilton Double Tree service but chose this hotel for its great location. Just a few steps from Oxford Street, very close to Bond street and Marble Arch underground stations.
Nice hotel in great location”
location is great, right on oxford street, 200m from subway, 15 min walk to piccadily circus or 2 subway stops. comfortable bed & pillows as is signature of hilton standard bedding. room is small but a good size and sufficient enough for our large luggage and small luggage. bathroom is clean and well maintained. room decor is tasteful. lift is slow as there is only 1 lift, but its a minor thing compared to all the other plus points in the hotel. free use of printer in lobby. reception is professional and good service. prat-a-manger sandwich cafe (an excellent food outlet) just 100m away and on the way to subway station. all the retail outlets that you would ever want to shop are located along the road from the hotel towards piccadilly circus.
It started badluy as the hotel didn't appear to have my online booking registered. However, this was quickly sorted by the efficient staff who also upgraded us. When my wife walked to the stairs (she doesn't like lifts), they immediately offered to change the room to one on the ground floor. The room was nice and clean. Not overlarge but no problem. Heating, air conditioning and lighting controls were all modern. Everything worked. Bed was lovely and comfortable. Having told them earlier that it was a birthday trip as a present for my wife, it was great to find complimentary champagne in the room when we returned to change before dinner. All in all, very impressed. Car park across the road is a bit shabby (hotel users get discount), but it is light and safe and only a few metres from the hotel, which must be rare in such a location.
Best location for shopping”
This hotel has a perfect location with access to oxford street. It is within walking distance to Hyde Park, Marble arch, and Edgeware road.Hotel is good for families
Given the pricing and size of other hotels in London, I don't think that there are many hotels of this standard and location for the price. It's not at the level of DoubleTree hotels in Asia -but most of them are purpose built rather than a converter building like this. Room was certainly small, but fortunately not particularly claustrophobic. It was clean and the bathroom very functional. Hot water supply was very consistent and quick. Only real issue is that the mattresses were definitely on the soft side.
A fresh and comfortable stay downtown London”
after spending adventures days on your feet me and my mum apprechiated to come home to a very comfortable room at the best western mostyn hotel. the staff where so kind, allert and helpfull. the room was so fresh and the bed and the pillows where soft and luxurius. the breakfast that the hotel offered was everything that you could thing of and ask for and gave the perfect kick off for new adventures! next time i'm back in london, this is the hotel that i'll return to!
Brilliant hotel, perfectly located”
it felt like home away from home. the staff went the extra mile and the rooms were unusually spacious for a central london location and best of all free wifi. brilliant hotel, it was recommended to me by a friend and i have recommended it to my friends, too.
