Location great! Facilities poor.”
We wanted a hotel close to the theatre as we were seeing Hamilton. Location is ideal. Twin room (419) was clean though part of the shower cubicle was broken (which I put back together) then the overhead rain shower was a dribble so had to use the handheld. Honestly, not worth the money. Very disappointed as had excellent experiences at Hilton’s previously.
Tourist stay over ”
Doing the tourist thing and rather than travel each day done the stay over. Upon easily arrival we were immediately upgraded to a trip floor room with balcony, albeit too cold to hang around on. Location right next to Victoria train station perfect for luggage moving, a mere 3 minutes to main platform entries if that! Didn’t use facilities or restaurant as we were always on the go. Room was great and quiet. Staff were great and helpful. Would go back to do further touring next visit
The location was excellent. The staff were very nice and helpful. The toiletries were all “Crabtree &Evelyn” which suited us very well. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to London.
Great location room is clean and comfortable
Next to Victoria coach and railway station, yet very quiet area. Buckingham palace is less than a mile. Variety of restaurants within walking distance. For travellers from the US the layout of the hotel would not be strange, that’s a comfort. In short excellent location and pleasant comfortable stay. Always opt for breakfast included with room.
Great location but the room is tiny”
The location is right across from Victoria station. Easy access to west end/cental London area. 5 minutes walk to Apollo theater, many restaurants, and shopping. However, the room is so tiny and there's barely any space to put our suitcase. Breakfast is good for a double tree. The freshly baked cookies is always a great touch for kids.
Good hotel in central location”
We had a good time in the hotel. We stayed there 4 days 3 nights and we are thankful for its central location. We were able to wander around the city without worrying if we will get lost or not. Our room, one-bedroom junior suite is well-equipped with good beddings and toiletries. I just hope they have a kitchenette to allow guests to cook/heat food bought outside the hotel. Buffet breakfast is great, with wide spread of choices. Taxi is not a problem, there's a lane infront of the hotel. And oh, concierge is very helpful. He helped us book our Lion King tickets bought few minutes before the show and even showed us the direction on how to get there. Great service!
Lovely one-night stay at the Double Tree. ”
Efficient check-in and cheerful staff certainly brighten our day after a long and tiring drive from Loughborough. The warm cookies was a thoughful gesture. Location a mere 3 minutes walk to Victoria Station and easy travels to most part of London. Plenty of eateries and shops around the hotel. Clean and comfortable room with a lovely attached toilet. Would stay at this hotel on my next trip to London.
All in all good stay but will try somewhere else next time ”
Couldn’t find reservation on arrival but staff great and sorted. Previously had 40,000 HH points but lost them all as could never upgrade or use them, HH points is waste of time. Vowed I wouldn’t use Hilton’s again cos of that but gave it another go. As a previous Blue member we got HH room, which was dated, dirty carpets, stained curtains! Contact lens on bathroom floor and insufficient towels. Now the good bits: staff were fab, food really nice, safe secure and nice guests. Well located for our break, Theatre sorted for show, tube from Victoria 100yds away. Professional beggars started to get a bit much, you can tell those who are really homeless and those taking a lend. All in all, good stay, nice staff but will try somewhere else next time.
Extra bed Poor Quality ”
Extremely poor quality extra bed. Please let the manager feel or try the extra bed in the room we stayed. It is unreasonable for someone to sleep . We stayed at KING JUNIOR suite (most expensive room). Also, the room is very dusty, all of us had allergy. I wonder if they wash the curtain. This is because the window was opened when we arrived. No water bottle water in the room when we check-in. We have to boil water from the sink .
The hotel is renewing, and our room key could't use just right after we checked in. We had been to reception three times to active our room key. And there's only one elevator we could use durning the day we stay, it was really bad that all the customers have to wait 15 minutes to get into the elevator during rush time.
The hotel is conveniently located near Victoria Station and several bus stops so it didn't take long for us to get to any given destination within central London. Rooms are a bit small for a family of three, but it didn't give us too much trouble. We would definitely stay here again the next time we visit London!
Good location. The room is spacious and clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
Very nice hotel, superb location ta westminster.. next to Victoria train station”
Very polite n helpful staff during our stay.. it amaze me with their attitude . Clean property in the heart of westminster.. V recommneded to stay here
very convenient location of an hotel with friendly staff”
location is excellent, just next to Victoria Station (railways and metro/tube) (across the street on the side of the station - without any disturbance from the station or the trains), walking distance from Big Ben staff very friendly. Very pleasant stay
value for money and convenient location to transport and the city”
booked this when i was searching for smthg close enough to city centre, yet not caught in middle of the bustle and traffic. service from staff was great and rooms were very clean. will definitely stay here again if within my budget.
The staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast buffet was delicious and staff always checking if anything else was needed. Location was perfect and very conveniently located next to Victoria train station. Also lots of attractions were walking distance from the hotel. Would highly recommend this hotel.
I had one of my best experiences of stay while in Double Tree Hilton, Victoria. Staffs were amazing and supportive. Room was a bit small but had good views and facilities. Except I didn't get in-house tea/coffee. Room/Bed/Desks were reasonably clean and house keeping were good. Location of the hotel is amazing for visiting London. Restaurants, any mode of transport, tourist places are all just minutes walk. Breakfast was reasonably good compared to other international chain hotels in London. Restaurant was also good. I am pleased with the staffs at reception, concierge service... #Thumbs Up. I would recommend any type of guests/visitors stay there.
next to Victoria station”
This is a functional hotel which is well located next to the Victoria train station and underground station. It is also near the Victoria coach station. Very good for walks to London attractions such as Buckingham Palace. Many restaurants within walking distance.
Enjoying experience ”
Enjoyable and relaxing. Perfect location near to station and a very good 'on special' price including lovely breakfast buffet. We also found the luggage room facilities great so that we did not have to carry our bags with us everywhere.
