“Good hotel outside of Disney Property”
If you’re not looking to stay at one of the expensive Disney Property hotels then this hotel is more than adequate. Great location next to Disney Springs - more convenient if you have a car. Be advised, self-parking is $25/day but there’s plenty of parking spots available. Rooms are clean and large. Come with kitchen counter area (no cutleries or plateware or glasses) but has microwave and slightly larger mini-fridge. No hot water kettle so bring your own travel pot if you want to boil hot water. Only has cheap drip coffee maker which never used. Aircon in room worked fine with thermostat kicking in to adjust room temp every so often. A bit loud but white noise. You get used to it. Water pressure for Shower was decent and hot water very hot on the 5th floor. Others complained but we had no issues. Staff are courteous enough but not overly friendly. They get the job done. Trademark doubletree cookies were aleast available on request. Free coffee in the morning in lobby. You’re given a room coupon for 2 free bottles of water every day. If you need more, bring your own water bottle or keep the plastic bottles given and there’s a free water filling station in the lobby area. Other reviews complained about the free shuttle bus service to the 4-major Disney theme parks. We had no problems whatsoever. They were always on time +5 or 10 minutes and you book ahead of time online with a QR code given and it worked out fine. Return service was also pretty much on time and it was pretty convenient and hassle free! Tip: take the 8 am busses to get you to the parks right at opening time. Overall a decent stay and for the location - less than 5 mins to Disney Springs - would stay here again if you want to save some money.
