A 3-minute walk to Fremont, the location is great. The room is also clean. It was very good for sightseeing rather than enjoying the hotel. Since the parking is across the street in a different lot, it's better to do some research before using it.

“Great off strip hotel! ”
Stayed here with a group for EDC weekend. Great hotel for an off strip choice - rooms of decent size, clean and with modern furnishings, large bathrooms. Staff were helpful in being able to assist in extending our stay. Didn’t get to use the rooftop pool but it looked really good. $5 blackjack available in the casinos. If you want to stay off strip, I would definitely pick downtown grand. The only cons were that there’s no food options within the hotel itself, however you can walk to other hotels nearby for a few choices (obviously not as abundant as the strip).

However, I would prefer larger containers for the bathroom amenities. I was also a bit surprised that they don't clean every day. It seems they do it upon request, but since I stayed only two nights, I just asked for trash collection and towel exchange, so it wasn't a problem.
