The hotel is very clean, big space room, everything is out of our expectation, its like 5 star hotel. Highly recomended to stay here. This hotel at prime location at downtown los angeles, near convention center, staple center and shopping mall area. Will come back here to stay for sure...

Very nice and stylish hotel in Downtown L.A., perfect location for exploring the city by car. Room was small but very clean and stylish. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was tasty but a little more variety would do no harm ;) we had to pay a 15$ Service Fee per day per room which included all kinds of services such as WiFi and Breakfast. All in all highly...

Beautifully furnished boutique hotel, enjoyed my trip in Los Angeles staying here. For drivers it's quite convenient, we rented a car and parked at the carpark overnight just next to the hotel (you can choose to park yourself or use the hotel's valet service at a premium). Two things that could be improved: 1) The daily breakfast spread was mostly cold and does not ...

My friends and I wanted a hotel downtown as we didn't know how to drive. Being first-timers to LA, we were told it was very inconvenient if we didn't drive. So we were prepared for the inconveniences that came with travelling by public transport. However, the location of the Hilton Checkers couldn't have been better suited to our purpose! Two red line Metro stations...

Good location, not crowded at all, historical. Although the lighting in the rooms are a too dim - could use better lighting. But overall, good location, easy access to metro, groceries, convenience stores, eateries. Hotel is very nice and good value for money.

really amazing like this hotel spacious with a kitchen fully furnished and a sala with laundry area clean, and the ref has water dispenser you dont need to buy bottled water very convenient, its like your home at different place everything is provided, with 5mins walk to whole foods market, and ralphs, high recommend this hotel then 8 mins walk to subway and macy mall...

I like this hotel since it is located in downtown Los Angeles and its location is a 5-minute walk to the Subway/train station. The staff are all friendly and accomodating especially the Mexican guy (unfortunately, I can't recall his name). The hotel price is very affordable.I recommend this hotel as a place to stay.

Generally my stay was good, however for an outsider to Los Angeles, this neighborhood is not very good. You don't see a lot of people walking around after dark, and the people you do see look a little shady. That being said, the hotel was very close to the bus stop and the staff was very courteous. Clean rooms and good size comfortable beds.

The suite was so great with large bedroom separated from the living room. The bed was huge and comfortable, the room was clean, but the highlight was the health club. The Los Angeles Athletic Club (LAAC) Hotel is attached to the athletic club thus you'll get everything here from gym, lap pool, sauna, steam room, plunge pool, relaxation area, etc. The hotel location is ...

We had a great time at the Comfort Inn, Downtown Los Angeles, combining holidays & business. The rooms were very clean, and breakfast was great with waffles, scrambled eggs, fruits etc. The location was good, close to downtown and getting to West Hollywood by bus was ok. Very friendly & helpful staff.

Hotel was fantastic. Had a lot of great amenities and resturants, very clean and great quality building overall. PERFECT location for staples center and convention center. As long as I can get a competitive rate i will go there every year, I plan to come back annually

This was my first visit to Los Angeles and The US as a whole. Therefore I didn't know what to expect at all when coming to this country. Many people had told me not to go to LA, they told me it was boring and scary. I had a great time in LA, my boyfriend and I got around the city very easily and never felt threatened once. You may hear that the Mayfair is in a dodgy ar...

We were very impressed by our recent stay at Hotel Indigo in DTLA! We were looking for a modern hotel conveniently located to downtown LA & Hotel Indigo certainly fit the bill. When I arrived to check in, I was pleasantly greeted. Check in was quick and easy. When I arrived to my room, the first thing I checked was the bed for bugs, etc. (not saying that the Pod Inn would have them, but now days you need to check before hand) I found no bugs of any kind anywhere. :) I found the room to be clean and ready for me to rest my head. Cheap places to stay in Downtown Los Angeles

The social room on the 1st floor is awesome, it feels like a bar atmosphere and I thought it was one at first where you order drinks etc.. That said, I don't think can justify paying over $50 a night for a dorm bed in a hostel, but maybe that's just because it is Los Angeles. Pricey spot.

I booked for just one day, but when I arrived PodShare, I regreted a lot. If I have another chance to stay in LA, I’m gonna stay here again without any hesitation!! This hostel is SUPER clean, and has everything(shampoo, body shampoo, hair dryer, even toothpaste! + something to eat like bread, milk, tea, coffee, etc+ also has WATER). Eventhough I just stayed here one d...

This place was great! I loved the location because of it's proximity to the Dodger Stadium. It took my family 10-15 mins to walk to the gates of the stadium. If you're into pre-flighting before the game, this is the perfect location to do so. : ) The complimentary breakfast, free parking, and wi-fi enforced the feeling of getting the best bang for your buck. Los Angeles is a city well known for pricey hotels. This hotel is a consistently solid and affordable option. The rooms are comfortable, clean, spacious, and modern. The location may scare some off, but it is far from dangerous simply more of an ethnic neighborhood. Parking is available but get there early as there are limited spaces which are assigned by check in.

The hotel and room was very clean and the staff were excellent! The hotel is located close to Union Station which made it easy to catch an early bus leaving from there. There were many yummy jap restaurants within walking distance and opened till late which made it even better. I would definitely stay there again!

Something of an anomaly - a motel of the kind found strung along roadsides just outside of major towns - that just happens to be near the heart of Downtown LA, at exactly the price you'd expect to pay. The rooms are big and well-maintained; the beds are comfortable; the showers are hot and the towels soft. For short stop-overs in the city (with a rental car, of course ...

Located in the heart of downtown Los Angeles, it is a convenient location. The rooms re small, older, and non very well maintained. Floors were cracked, chipping paint, etc. The air conditioner was very noisy and I kept waking up from the noise, even though my earplugs. I would have expected more from the price. Employees were very gracious and willing to help.

This hotel is excellent for anything at Staples Center. Its a short walk across the street. The hotel itself is ok. Pros: clean rooms, very nice staff. Cons: worst check in of any hotel I have every stayed. One person checking people in after waiting till 3pm, then a line of at least 30 people to get the keys. Finally they added a second person.
