    So so so noisy”
I was here on business travel and picked this hotel for the location. I don't know what it was, but there were people screaming, cars honking ,and what sounded like police sirens till 3am. And that was before the road construction started at 3:30am. Not possible to get a good night's sleep. Earplugs wouldn't have helped because the construction has low-frequency sound waves. The soundproofing needs to be improved.

Repeat guest and had enjoyed the hotel in the past. The proximity to Chelsea and ease of getting up to midtown or down to Soho etc is great. However very disappointed with our stay this time - issues with room service every day, drunk vomiting nightclub patrons in the lifts multiple times and the manager doesn’t seem to be phased when brought these issues to their attention. Would recommend looking at other options in the area

    Love the Dream Hotel”
Stayed in a suite for a couple of nights. Loved the lay-out, modern interior design, views over the city. Beds are super comfortable, room was quiet. Hotel has a trendy, young feel. Front desk staff was too arrogant and not friendly enough for my taste (I worked in hospitality myself for years). Loved the area: Meatpacking District is full of energy and has great restaurants near by, High line. Great location: cabs, subway close by. Definitely recommend staying here!

    Unimpressive ”
While there were a few staff very helpful, the young woman at check in and checkout (same person) thought she worked a night club and it is cool to be dos interested and aloof. Attitude was the opposite of service. TV cable had been unplugged and had to have someone come up and fix. Rooms are small, but efficient. Then, the price on Agoda was $360 while the final price was much more. Nothing about the confirm showed taxes being separate. Was all “total” price. Definitely very disappointing.

One of the Best NYC Hotels”
Dream Downtown is a great, swanky hotel in the heart of Meatpacking. Great location, great staff (Doormen, front desk and the concierge are all great) and clean & well thought out rooms. You have Chelsea Market next door, PHD, Whitney Museum, Highline, Standard and Gansevoort Hotel all within 5 min. I would highly recommend to anybody.

    Trendy Boutique Hotel”
Stayed on the 3rd floor, the noise from the bar/club was okay actually. Very pretty industrial-feel hotel. Located very near to Chelsea Market. The only gripe was that it is a little far from Times Square, which may not be suitable for first time visitors to New York.

    Great location and excellent staff”
This is my second stay here and I will be back. The location is convenient for public transportation as well as being a wonderful area to explore on foot- in all directions. The rooms are well outfitted , perfect for one, but on the compact side for a couple. The amenities are a great addition- bathrobe, high end toiletries, etc. The staff is very accommodating and professional, making the guest feel valued. There was a glitch in the TV service for 2 days, resulting in no TV, which was annoying, at worst. The communication could have been better in this regard, but the staff did compensate for this in the end. Overall- Avery cool place to stay for a variety of reasons.

    Vegas in New York”
    Pool, location, pool
Not a family hotel. Lobby was a club, roof bar was a club, pool was a club, there is even a club in the basement. Noise level was annoying considering I was there for work. Hearing house music through your pillow until 4am made it hard to get a decent nights sleep. Staff is great and will move you to a quiet room if you request it. Definitely felt more like Vegas than New York.... But you can't beat the pool and location.

Stunning decor, great vibes, trendy hotel”
The decor, the staff, the location
I felt like I walked into a GQ magazine when I reached the desk. Stunning decor and do the receptionists have in-house stylists?? Of course, its New York City and I know that technically I got the value for my money even though the room was small. Also, the staff was amazing, super helpful and very quick and accommodating with anything we asked for, with the exception of one black male at the PHD elevator. I don't know if he knows what vibe he's giving off or if its part of the whole persona but he seemed quite full of himself and wasn't treating us nicely. It was like he was talking down to us. I mean, calm down, you're a doorman, I'm paying to stay here, be nice! There was another man doing the same job and telling us the same things but he didn't quite say it like the first guy did. He was nice, fun, he even joked around with us and made us laugh (wish I remembered his name so I can give him a shout out).

Super clean, nice boutique feel, location
Stay primarily because there was a pool. But summer in the city, should have expected it would be crowded, over crowded and there are no reserved sections for guests. Oh well, the room served it's purpose, and at the end of the day there was a pool.

Fun, cool vibe at this hotel which ”
    Bar/club, location and good service
I stayed here with my fiancee and from check in we knew it would be a fun hotel (if this is your thing) as there was a DJ playing in the lobby bar - it felt like a night club. Probably not suited for a family but this hotel would certainly suit people after a good nightlife. There is also a popular nightclub on the top floor with great views of the skyline. All this music would make you think that it would be noisy but our room was quiet so I would certainly ask the hotel for a room away from the nightlife. Service was great & everything we needed was promptly catered for. Location-wise the hotel is in Chelsea which is a great location for shops, cafes & restaurants. Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel & would consider coming back.

Great Staff especially from the front desk”
Good staff, comfortable room, no issues when i had to cut my stay by a day and get a refund.
I checked in to Dream on the Sunday but was not happy with the size of the standard room, was to small for me. I called the front desk to see if any other rooms were available and they offered to show me some alternatives. The Front Desk Manager\showed me other options and was extremely helpful in moving me to a room that suited me. Good size room with direct access to the pool, Cherry restaurant downstairs is really good one of my favourite in NYC. Good location right next door to TAO. I was however disappointed with the staff at the door for PHD, to summarise... they were rude, arrogant and paid little attention to people except the ones they knew. At one point it took the guy at the door to acknowledge I was there even though I was the only one in the queue. if only they had the same attitude as the front desk staff..... but I guess thats asking to much of the pretentious nature of people at club doors.

Clean modern and everything you needed
This hotel we found on the internet, as was disappointed with the range available that had ensuite. But came across the dream downtown hotel which not only had ensuite facilities but a roof top bar and pool with sun loungers. A lot of the locals used the hotel bars on Friday and Saturday nights for socialising which just shows you what a nice hotel it was. Free internet in the hotel to guests, large flat screen TV, no bath but large shower, very comfy bed and a quiet room. Would definitely stay there again and would recommend it even though it is on the pricey side. Good access to the subway which we used a lot to get around.

swimming pool and great rooftop bar
the hotel is located in meatpacking district, close to many great restaurants, bars and shopping oportunities. it's only a few blocks from the hudson river and the high line "park" with nice view over the river. from the hotel you can take a nice walk to soho (20-30 minutes). the hotel is modern and obviously meant for couples or people who likes the bar scene and nightlife. the swimming pool area is closed for children after noon, and from that time the music is turned up and drinks and champagne served. absolutely recommended, but maybe not for families with children.
