Great budget place to stay close to an amazing beach.”
Not a lot of budget accommodation available in Ngwe Saung, but it has an amazing beach, so this place allows you to have a great little fairly inexpensive few days relaxation. The accommodation is pretty basic, fan only and I must admit I found it too hot, but on asking they were happy to provide another fan as we were in a triple room. Cold water shower only but it was so hot that's all you needed. Staff lovely and helpful, breakfast is included but for the price you are paying don't expect too much, I think it's more a token. There is a great place right next door and the food was great. But saying that tea and coffee were freely available all day, as was water to refill your own empty bottles. Electricity can be a problem, not just in dream house but everywhere but we were lucky and weren't too inconvienced by the interruptions and the reception does have solar so you can charge your phones etc. No wifi, and not much in the town either so a sim package might be the answer unless your happy without internet. All in all, while in Myanmar you would be daft not to to visit Ngwe Saung and stay a few days at Dream House.

One of our best stay in Mynamar”
The place is better than in the photos. Basic room, very thin and rather uncomfortable mattresses, private bathroom. Cheapest motorbike rental in all village. There is no internet and hot water, electricity available only from 6 pm to 6 am (it is normal in the village) but you can charge batteries or phone on reception (solar panels). They use mosquitos coils every evening (perfect for a mosquito-free evening outside!), and you can use very relaxing common areas with banana trees and hammocks. A good place to stay for a few days to relax, visit the elephant camp nearby, try snorkeling and enjoy good fish and seafood. You can also rent bikes and motorbikes, cheaper than in the village.

Basic ”
Excellent staff, very helpful and friendly! Accommodation very basic, but adequate for a few nights stay. The beds were extremely hard, and we had no mirror......but you get what you pay for! If you want more, pay more!!! Over all it was fine for 2/3 nights.

great service and perfect for travellers”
Great staff and even better service (bus, motorbike,...). Good breakfast. 2 Hammocks and a common area with the view on banana trees. Coffee, tea and cigars 24/7 for free! Try to get an upstairs room as the base ground ones are a bit dark.

I love this place! ”
I ended up extending my stay here twice, it was such a lovely place to stay! The staff are incredibly helpful and friendly and we managed to organise several trips through them. The rooms are simple and the electricity turns off for part of the day but the beds are comfortable and you're not supposed to spend the day inside anyway! Bathrooms always clean. Breakfast was AMAZING! Always something different and usually something traditional to try as well (mohinga, fried dough sticks, rice etc). Thanks guys!

Super nice staff but still under major construction. ”
All rooms are under construction pretty much. Breakfast is quite random, but staff were super cool and friendly. And spoke English. Not proper isolated and rooms felt like a basement. Mosquito bites all over our bodies. Got 5 dollars back when we checked out.

Either people are delusional or the hostel have upped there game.”
Judging by the reviews on here I wasnt expecting mych at all, It was just the cheapest place in the area and thought it would be pretty terrible. The beach was no more than a 5 minuet walk and even faster cycle.. The breakfast was amazing, every morning she would cook up a new meal, fresh fruit, coffee, and it was always amazing. The owners are so genuine and really go out of there way to make sure your stay is a good one. The vibe of the place in awesome, playing old british music and an incredible view out back. Can rent bikes and motorbikes and a short walk to all the restaurants. We all loved our time here and hated leaving.
