    Best Value for money”

    Overall good!”

Staff very helpful and flexible. Rooms are clean with a few ants, but that's nothing unexpected for this kind of accommodation and price. Best thing for me is that it's located half way from Mui Ne's fishermen village and the nightlife. Also, the guest house although very humble has a nice outdoor area just outside the rooms.

    AMAZING HOMESTAY! Terrible town!”

Staff is extremely friendly, rooms very clean and confortable,

I never normally write reviews but this place deserves it, our best stay at vietnam. Very welcoming free fruits on arrival nice little touch. Also very clean. The owners are lovely couple they'd sit down and share food and drinks with us and play the guittar and sing song with us. This homestay is actually the highlight of Mui Ne. But the town is not worth it, very dirty and unattractive, lots of russian influence, not much vietnamese culture.

    Clean, friendly staff, good location

Hotel staff were extremely friendly and helpful, even let us borrow there motobike to get baby formula. They don't have a restaurant but have basics, food water and snacks. I very close to the fairy stream (suoi tien) and other attractions close by taxi. Very quiet and relaxing location.

    Awesome planned stay and extension!”

It is family run and they were very friendly, quiet surroundings, value for money

My initial planned stay for for 2 days but i got into a motorbike accident. I extended my stay for 4 days for recovering in the area. The owner, Mr Duc Thao gave me a discount for my extended stay. He invited me for a couple of family dinners with his family. Those were good times experiencing the Vietnamese culture. I would reccommend this place to everyone that is looking to have a fun time in Mui Ne. They treated me like a family. If i would come back to Mui Ne, i would definately come back to Duc Thao Hotel for my stay. Highly recommended and very service friendly family and staff!

Clean and comfortable. Nice staff. Secure. Great value.

Really nice owners. Offer great value with cheap laundry facilities, and motorbike hire, snacks, drinks on site and at normal street cost. Very secure, clean and well appointed, with AC and fan. Hard to get better value anywhere I think.

    Price, staff, cleanliness

The stay was very nice. Friendly owners, very welcoming, low price, nice garden-like space between rooms, making meeting people easy. Rooms EXTREMELY clean, what is quite rare in this country. I totally recommend the place.

nice accommodation with helpful and friendly straf”

    quiet, nice gardens, helpful staff

It was a little way away from the main area of shops and restaurants and we hired a moped to get around which was great, they also let us hire for half a day, which a lot of places don't allow. There was a bus stop right outside so if you re happy getting a local bus, which would take about 5 minutes to got to the busy area, then it's fine. The main man who I think was the owner was very friendly and helpful. We were in room 1 right next to reception and the WiFi worked in our room, I'm not sure it would have worked much further away. The bed was very hard, but then most beds in SE Asia are. I would definitely stay here again.

    Duc thao himself, affordable, peaceful

The stay was great, reasonably priced and duc thao is a great person. He and his family are a pleasure and they make amazing Vietnamese seafood for dinner. Had a great time. Arrived at 2 am an he woke up to get us in a room no problem. Helped us find a scooter and local attractions.

garden view, friendly family staff, inexpensive

More like a hostel and good for the wind surf/kite surfing crowd. Bathroom was very run down, but room was clean. VERY hard beds. Location is far (3-4km) north from central Mui Ne, but very close to wind surfing school. We left early and booked at The Ocean Front Hotel - highly recommended.

    Fantastic stay, felt very welcome”

Friendly staff with fun attitude, clean large rooms, location close to beach

Incredible experience, truly felt welcomed by the family. We enjoyed a new year celebration as guests of the family. We extended our stay a further five nights as a result. Rooms are very clean and a good large size, bed clean and comfortable. Tv and small fridge in the room. Very close to beach and fairy stream. The attitude of the family is what really makes this a great place to stay, always friendly and always happy to help. Treat them with respect and be rewarded with respect in return.

    Comfortable and Convenient ”

Close to good local food, Attentive staff and Kitchen use

We were greeted by the owner Duc Thao himself and his lovely family. They made us feel very welcome and treated us like family. We hired a scooter from the hotel for cheap and was then able to access all the good sights around including the fishing village and sand dunes. The hotel is close to really good restaurants with delicious local foods, there was no need to leave the area for food. The beach is located behind the hotel across the road but the staff told us to walk through and it shouldn't be a problem.

we're late arrive via sinh cafe's bus leaving saigon 8:00 - it should be at their muine office 01:00am but it was 2:30 to arrive but hotel owner still keep waiting for us, very impressive. their room is clean, new and comfortable to its price. wifi is great and everything is fine. it's location is perfect, just a walk you can found everything you need - fairy stream, fisherman market and red sanddune. 50k vnd from sinh office really worth with this hotel

    Not too bad after all”

    Spacious room and lovely garden

The hotel is a bit far away from the llively area of the town but very close to the not to be missed Fairy Stream. We rented a motorbike at the hotel but it was extremely costly (10 US manual and 15 US automatic). Duc Thao owners hardly speak any English and it was sometimes very hard to communicate. the rooms are set around a well kept tropical garden and are large, with TV, fridge, aircon and perfect wifi. But: the lookthrough towels we were provided with were never changed during our 3 days stay and, when we left, we noticed that the colourful sheets we had been using were not changed! Anyway, as MuiNe is pretty expensive, we cannot complain too much about DucThao, considered the price we paid.

    good place but skip MuiNe”

guesthouse was very good, staff and management very helpfull, accommodating and friendly, plate of fruit on arrival was nice gesture, but MuiNe is not a nice place, as we go there for the beach, which is non existent, what is left of it is covered in rubbish. On top of that MuiNe is "occupied" by Russians (therefore most signs, menues etc are in Russian only) , who behave badly and spoil the atmosphere that is left . Skip MuiNe from your travel plans and go to Phu Quoc instead, a much better choice for only a little bit more money.

    Good value ”

Good value for money. Beaches are NOT clean anywhere near this part of the beach. Had to ask for clean towels and more toilet paper but I think it's because the owners are very hands off. They were very kind d if we needed anything, but pretty much left you to yourself! This area is a bit quieter, so if you want more food, shopping, cafe options you should definitely stay further west down the main road. Super quick walk to the fairy stream and they had motorbikes, cars or jeeps for rental here! Rooms were very clean and comfortable so if you don't mind being further away from the nicer beaches then this place is great.

The hotel is not far from the beach, the room was big and clean and well equipped with fridge, the bed is comfy. The wifi works well. The hotel is in a quiet garden really nice. There is restaurants nearby and you can rent motorbike for 6$. You can go to the fairy stream by foot ( 5-10 min)

Great little place for a certain type of person,”

    Location, Price, Clean

We loved our stay here, it was good value for the money though I wouldn't pay more than 16 dollars (US) per night. It is a mediocre hotel, very clean with fast wifi & cable tv. We like to motor bike around so it was a perfect location for us, right in between the tourist side of Mui Ne and the genuine city. If you are an adventurous motorbiker it is easy to make it to the sand dunes yourself. It is a little hard to find because it's set back a little from the main road, which helps to keep it quiet. If you aren't picky you will like it!

Lovely guesthouse, great sand dunes, dirty beach”

    Clean, quiet, friendly staff

The hotel/guesthouse hasn't got the best location as away from the main bars and restaurants, but you pay less for a relaxing, quiet environment. Clean, big room and friendly staff (not the best English). I wouldn't recommend Mui Ne for the beach - thin and very dirty. Although the local fishing village is interesting and sand dunes great. All restaurants and bars cater for the Russian holiday makers, so can be more expensive than you'd expect.
