Great location if you want to stay RIGHT ON THE BEACH!”
It’s far from restaurants and the town but for the price and view, well worth it! There’s hammocks, kayaks, surf boards and a gorgeous beach. It’s pretty desolate but the bungalows are cute and the staff is very friendly. Limited WiFi, limited electricity for charging and no AC. But overall a great stay if you just need to relax!
We had the most fantastic time at Duli Beach Resort - if anything, we just wished we had more time to relax at this beautiful place. We wished we had planned ahead slightly better for the journey from El Nido (local trike drivers were reluctant to take us there, but in a car arranged by the resort for the journey back into town we had no issues). The staff were really helpful, the food and drink delicious and great value, and the location second to none.
Wow, simply the best.”
Had an amazing 2 night stay at Duli beach. Cottage supernice, great seaview from the bed, which was btw very comfortable. Very nice bathroom, everything superclean, very friendly owners. Pleasantly surprised how good it can be to sleep in a beach bungalow with no aircon and no sound insulation at all. First time doing this but definitely not the last. The resort is at one end of Duli beach, which is a very laid back beach anyway. Not many visitors, since it is not easy to get to (in fact the tricycle driver who brought us, got lost -in the end we became very dusty :) so if you know your arrival time in el nido, better book a transfer with the resort). Very nice beach, you can even go into the water and swim in low tide, which is not that common in this area as we learned later. Food is good and cheap, you csn select from 3 dishes for every mesl. There is only one thing that is probably to be improved: have some starters since the portions are not that big and have more fish than meat! Only one meal had fish other than calamari and it was so good! Something else that was not the resorts fault, but we had strong allergic reactions to the masssage oil that was used by the masseuses. All in all the perfect beach experience with the perfect hosts, would return in a heartbeat! Thank you!
Duli Beach was definitely the highlight of our holiday. I was usion perfect getaway from El Nido. ”
The Beach hut is very cleaverly built, and gives a Japanese feeling with the materials used. The staff is amazingly friendly, and you can really tell that the owners have put a lot of love and passion into this place. There isnt a great wifi connection, or hot water from the tap, but that really is also what gives this place its charm. It's all about going back to basics and unwind. We spent two days here and when we left we felt very recharged and happy.
Peaceful place with great people”
Just enjoy the sound of the ocean and the sunset while having a beer. Very nice and helpful owners and staffs. Thank you for the stay.
Heaven on the beach”
This place is absolutely amazing. The bungalows are designed so well and are super clean and comfy. The owners and the staff were so friendly and helpful. Food was yummy and affordable. Every place we visited after Duli felt a little disappointing since we had such a great time learning to surf here!
Duli Beach Resort is a hidden gem in El Nido! The only con is the limited supply of electricity.
Duli Beach Resort is run by the two Dutch Elma and Max. The place is kept very simple but is a true jewel. It is super clean, staff is very friendly, food is simple but good. The beach itself is breathtaking and the four cottages are placed right on it- the view out of the bed is one to dream of. Duli Beach still is more or less undiscovered- very few visitors and only one other restaurant and bar are located here. From El Nido a 30-40 Minute Drive all the way to the North tip. A secret worth visiting at least 2-3 days.
It was a perfect stay at Duli Beach Resort. We felt confortable since the moment we arrived. Max and his family are so nice and made the stay as uniqe as it was. Thanks for this nice time, you will definetly see us again! Best greetings from Austria
I recommend going to dry season.”
It was really hard to get with raining. The wet ground brought me to walk for quite some time. But the place was enough to forget the difficulty. Stay here! If you took a little hard time to get, you could get the paradise.
Excellent, great location, attentive and friendly place to stay. ”
Excellent place to stay, right on the beach and away from it all. The journey from El Nido is interesting, a lot of reviews mention the road which is different but well worth the effort & adds to the adventure ! Hire a scooter or take a trike you will not regret it. Food is limited in choice but good. Bar prices are very reasonable and cheaper than El Nido. If you like being away from it all with a good book and a wonderful beach with surf, then I’d highly recommend it. If your looking for a a place with more than that then stay in El Nido.
The place is a bit hard get to but that is contributing to the fact how peaceful and authentic it is! The beach is absolutely stunning. Me and my fiance went there in the end of November/beginning December and we there almost alone! There are only like cca 4 cottages so it did not get crowded. The owners would do anything for you - so kind! It was fantastic for us as firt-time-suffers, we had a lot of fun in the waves! The beach has its own magical beauty. I would absolutely recommend this to everyone!
Secluded beach.A haven for retreat.”
Max and his wife and all the staff are very nice and friendly.Their bungalows are very spacious inside. The foods are of limited options, but very delicous and very reasonable in price.I was very lucky.During my stay there,I saw a visitor-the sea turtle, which was brought onto the beach by the high tide.In the daytime, some young people will surf there. At night, the place is all yours.Yesterday, a villiger caught 3 crabs (measuring at least 1.5 kilograms)and sold to me for only 300 pesos. The staff cooked for me in local style. It's very fresh and super dilicious and it is very unforgetable.
absolutely worth the travel”
duli beach is quite hard to reach but when you get there, it's like having your own paradise. Max & Elma (Dutch couple owner) are both very welcoming. they are like Filipinos in showing hospitality. all their staff are well trained and show the same qualities. we'll definitely plan another trip in duli in the future.
A little piece of serenity ”
Beautiful place with miles of beach and nobody on it. Away from crowds and tourists in El Nido city proper. was I bit hard to find but once there all ok. Choice of food was not plentiful but ok. Max and his family are great hosts and are living there dream. Wish them all the luck in the world for there future. Geoff MacMillan Sydney, Australia
Beautiful secluded paradise ”
Lovely escape from the hussle of elnido, the bad road keeps the majority away, so you can enjoy it with a select few. Be sure to call the resort ahead of arriving to check road conditions and especially if you need a hand with luggage (it's a bit of a walk from the road). Lovely hosts, had a great time!
Love it or hate it? ”
I was there in december 2018 and I didnt want to raited this place immediately because I was quite disapointet. But when I saw all the island and I slept over whole experience I didnt change my mind. When we came I felt unwelcome. The staf there was the oposite what Philippines are. I didnt mined ther is no hot water, no electisity but it would be nice to Know all that staf when You Come. They dont take Any Credit card and the atm is really far. And a lot of Times empty. The food. O my god the food. The worst food i have ever tried. All the fruit, fishes and vegetable they have in the island. I still get chills when I remember the toast with cold eggs. Thank god that we came with rented motorbikes. Otherwise I would leave the first day.
Before I'd booked this resort I read mostly in the reviews that it's like a paradise and its true me and my husband love to stay there coz it seems we both have peace of mind and have more time to spent together without using any gadget like phone..we just only watching those waves in the sea...the staff also were great and I loved that..the only thing that I don't like is that the way going there was very challenging.. And during that night I couldn't slept coz of the waves.. But I will rate this resort an excellent one...Good job! :)
Jésabel from Canada”
Very nice bungalow on a wonderful beach. The restaurant/bar is very welcoming, the food is good and the staff and owners are friendly. Maybe not the best spot during the low season because of the weather : noisy waves, wind, rain and thunderstorm so we didn't sleep very well but expect that a very good experience.
Awesome holiday ”
