Perfect place for our family to stay!”
Dumaguete Springs was a great find. It worked perfectly for our family of 6. The pool was such a relief in the hot climate. The only downside was that there was no shallow part for little kids other than the steps. The room was great and had kitchen, washer and fridge which allowed us to cook our own food. It could have been better equipped but it was easy to buy a frying pan across the road at the supermarket. The staff were very friendly and helpful. There is a huge supermarket directly across the road as well as a couple places to eat and the awesome (but greasy) fried chicken street food. It's also very easy to catch a pedicab right in front of the hotel which will take you wherever you need to go for about P25 or less. When we go back to Dumaguete we will definitely be returning to Dumaguete Springs.

I was making a reservation for a friend before i checked out! I praise the owner of Dumaguete Springs for being considerate.. The rate of a fully furnished 2 bedroom apartelle is just equivalent to a room in some hotels..

make sure that your keys work in all doors”
location to dumaguete and the cooking facilities and spaciousness of room size for fabulous. the apartment was super clean. we loved the proximity to the transport to the city and the nearby super market. we loved being able to cook our own meals. however we were given keys which did not work for the hotel front door. so we were locked inside the hotel for the first night. we are angry that our complaint was ignored. we would have liked to recommend this hotel but the indifference of the receptionist precludes our positive referral.

Very Nice”
The apartment was very clean and modern. The hot water heater did not work in the shower and the stove element controls only worked on high... We stayed in the pool level apartment. Asides from the minor issues noted above, it was very nice. Close to shopping. The unit had a washing machine. This was very convenient.

Budget family outing”
Generally, it meets our expectations. The receptionist is friendly & helpful only that they are not available after 5pm. Kitchen and rooms are ok although 1 of the AC is not cooling much so we just open all the rooms. Lobby towards our room is dark we cant find the switch. We were told that we can use the facilities in your resort but when we arrive there , we were told we can't because it was exclusively booked and the receptionist in the apartment didn't call. Obviously, there is a mis understanding here. We don't mind but what irritates us is the reception at the resort. He is rude and we were treated like an intruder. I feel the man and the lady there either should undergo more training or be replaced with people who are friendly and observe good manners.

Great place to stay and relax”
Friendly staff and spacious room made our stay enjoyable, The large swimming pool really helps given the hot days, A large supermarket 0nly100 metres away made shopping for produce to cook in the sizeable kitchen a godsend. Our 2 bedroom suite had a huge living area plus a laundry complete with washing machine.

The kitchen dining area is big room with old tube TV not very good display.. The Bedroom also Spacious with plenty of cupboards - Problem is the Apartment is next to very busy main road and unable to sleep through the night because of noise... Bathroom and shower are adequate.. Also has a separate utility room with washer and line for hanging clothes... The room is not fully maintained with noisey lighting buzzing and one ceiling light flickering on and off.. Also when it rains heavy all the electricity is cut off for more than an hour... Putting aside all the above problems its a good place to stay although far away from the sea front

The Apartment I received was located at the front and staff could not offer me another room The apartment had angled rooms and was reasonably well maintained and clean The bedroom had plenty storage space but had noise everyday early from the traffic outside The staff did not seem bothered when I asked for another quieter Apartment at the side or back of the building. The staff were not always in the reception room. The front entrance doors were locked on the night-time needed to have keys to get into the building. Also power cuts would happen frequently with no backup generator the cuts would last two hours or more no electricity Bathroom shower was acceptable. Overall this is over priced for the lack of sound proofing and lack of staff attendance

Nice apartments not far from Robinsons”
It was ok, but we needed to hire a motorbike because it was a couple of Kms to the city beach and about 12 km from the nice southern beaches. The internet in the rooms ranged from no signal half the time to a very poor signal for the rest of the time. You could not look up sites and do any banking at all 99% of the time so dont rely on it. Other than that the rooms were quite nice, there was reasonable road noise most of the night as its on a busy street.

No room availible, reservation not honored”
I showed up with a confirmd reservation, but when I arrived I was told no room was availible. I was given no advanced notice. It really ruined my stay in dumaguete to have to try to find another place, and I ended up wasting most of a day searching and had to pay a much higher price.

Acceptable”
The front of two apartment are extremely noisy, if you turn the air conditioning on, it simply sucks all the air pollution, which is extremely heavy into the apartment, giving you two choices either sweat in the apartment or breath in condensed petrol and diesel fumes. There is no double glazing on the windows, so the noise from is unbearable.large amount of mosquitoes are present in the apartment. I personally received 10 mosquito bites. The apartment further further back away from the road are more habitatable, though their is a constant smell of cooking from the restaurant below and just above the kitchen. Would we stay there again? NO! Especially apartment 7 & 8.

There are the following ptoblems: noise is pretty high un appartements towards he street. Internet per wifi was frequently not available, kitchen stuff is very very poor.

First room allocated was a disaster. Aircon not working properly and noise noise noise. Got transfered to better room but impossible to get a blanket. Only top sheet. Apparently blankets( called comforters in Phils) are not available full stop. No cleaning whatsoever nor changing of bed sheets or towels during 5 day stay. No refill of toilet paper.No tea-towel provided to wipe plates.Lady at reception is pleasant and does a fair job though...

Swimming pool not very clean, old cracked tiles everywhere. Aircon in room very noisy. We were moved from one room to another at very short notice.

The staff wasn't very accomodating.except for the cleaners that help us with our luggage too. My god..there's a lot of mosquitos ryt there.
