Loved this location”
My husband, myself and our children travelled to Dunes Village for Mother’s Day! In January my momma passed away and the beach was our favorite place to go, so my husband and children brought me to try and help me since it is my first Mother’s Day without my momma. I called dunes village 2 days before checking in to be sure I could get a room from the 4th floor down due to my fear of heights, the lady assured me that I would be in room 303. I had put my check in time to arrive between 11 and 1. I ended up get her a little after 1 and got to the check in desk and they had given 303 to someone else and that I was given room 403 and had to wait for it to be cleaned. I ended up waiting over an hour before I called the front desk and asked them if they could put a rush on it because we brought our truck and all the luggage was in the back and it was starting to rain and the lady called to get a rush and within 30 minutes I got a call that our room was cleaned! Got in the room and it was absolutely beautiful, clean, spacious and the view was outstanding! When I saw this my check in experience went down the drain! In the living room there is windows all around that allows you to enjoy the view of the ocean and that was worth the trip. Thank you for making my Mother’s Day experience memorable and outstanding!!!

Perfect spot for a weekend getaway. ”
We stayed in room 442 (beach front 2-queen with balcony) for a long weekend, checking in late on Friday and leaving Monday in mid October. This place is a great value and has a lot to offer for solo, couples (this was 2 person friends trip) and absolutely a ton to keep families entertained. Every day there were several events going on geared towards families, like mermaid makeovers, magic shows, cornhole tournies, and painting shells, etc. The water park facilities attracted both young and old. The water park features didn’t seem “rundown” to me as others has commented—yes, they were clearly not brand new, but they appeared to have been well maintained. There were as many adults on the water slides and in the lazy river as there were kids. We mainly used the water park facilities in the am between 8-10 and it was never too busy. We hopped between the two Dunes village buildings depending on what we wanted to do. Our room itself was very clean and comfy—no smells at all as others have reported. The fridge was pristine on the inside. There were signs of wear on some of the fixtures and furniture but it didn’t impact our stay. Water pressure and temperature was awesome and no drainage issues in any of the sinks or in the tub. Beds were comfy and cozy. Gorgeous views from the room—the best part—and we often sat out on the balcony watching the waves break on the shore. There was a small kitchenette and also a separate vanity area in addition to the bathroom, complete with a sink, and that was really nice for two people getting ready at the same time. Two TVs as well but we never even turned them on. Would recommend staying on the third floor and above to avoid any noise from the pools, etc. Beach chair and umbrella rentals are $45 for the day up till 4:15PM if you want to lounge on the sand. There are plenty of free loungers around the pools and on the grass before the dunes. This hotel is situated three miles north of the boardwalk in Myrtle Beach. We did walk down t

Exceptional”
It was great.. we will definitely be going back!! So much for the kids to do, great location, everything was great. The only down fall I ran into was the kiddie pool outside with the obstacle was extremely cold and that was during the day...and some of the hot tubs/pools got really dirty (as in stuff floating) so, I would suggest workers to clean in out through the day as well because there is so much traffic in and out of the water! Other than that, it was great and this will be the place we will be staying at from now on in Myrtle Beach!

Excellent Hotel”
Wow! I was amazed by the ease of check in, and ease of parking. Location excellent could sit at the balcony whilst watching the Atlantic Ocean waves. The room was spacious, extremely neat and bed was comfortable. Indeed, it’s a great hotel to stay today and in the future. Not one problem encountered during my three days stay🙏🙏🙏. Excellent hotel with a great and beautiful atmosphere.

Mini getaway”
Me and my boys ages 3 & 6 went for a couple nights during the week and we had a wonderful time! Although it was a little chilly outside, the pools and waterpark were heated and closed in. The room was very clean, kid friendly and the staff were very pleasant! We will definitely be going again!

1st family trip a huge success!!”
loved our room it was pretty spacious. 2 TVs small kitchenette ,a powder room area a king bed and a queen pull out sofa bed ( for our 3 and 5 yr old) we had a oceanfront balcony view. And beach access. Our tower had a small computer lab area where u can get on the computers and surf the web. Loved the out door pools and waterpark that closed at 11pm! Loved that we had a chance to go night swimming. Enjoyed drinks at the bar by the pools outside. The hot tubs were very relaxing and spacious. All staff members were wearing masks and gloves and advertisements up about keeping social distancing a thing while there. Loved that you had to have a key for the parking garage across the street. Everyone older than 3 has to wear the wristbands to access the pools and parks. We all enjoyed the fireworks that popped off every night right directly in front of our balcony! Magical moments! There's a restaurant and a Starbucks downstairs. The location was great Quiet and secluded! Def coming back!

Excellent for Families”
We will definitely be back, especially when the kids are a bit older and can really enjoy the waterpark. There are 2 indoor and one outdoor little kid areas, 2 little water slides and 2 bigger waterslides. Several pools and hot tubs, 2 lazy rivers. Even a playground right by the beach. Waterpark open late so the kids have something to do after dinner. I felt like everything was pretty clean. The kitchen was stocked with some dishes and a few necessities for cooking, which I didn’t expect. Packed a few things I didn’t need (skillets, silverware, dish soap). Very pleased with our experience!
