We had a very pleasant stay at Duong Homestay. The rooms (we had a twin room) are clean and spacious. The breakfast is simple like in most Guest Houses (don't expect a buffet or 'all you can eat' ). I would totally recommend it if you're in need of a quiet and modern place in Phong Nha.

Great spot in the town of phong-nha”
Very sweet family! The facility feels more like a hotel than homestay. We were given two queen beds instead of one! Very spacious including the bathroom too! Looking back I would have preferred to stay somewhere outside the main downtown phong nha area. However, this was a great location to restaurants. I highly recommend going to the 9 o'clock talk at easy tiger which is right across the street. This helped us sort out the overwhelming amount of options for things to do in phong nha.

We really enjoyed staying at the Duong Homestay. The staff was very helpful - they assisted us with motor bike rentals, tour organizing, and train station rides. The owner let us stay later in our room to accommodate our train schedule, which was greatly appreciated because it allowed us to take showers before we headed out on our next train ride. The location is also really great because it is right in the middle of town but back from the main road so it is quiet at night.

Nice place to stay in Phong Nha”
We were allowed an early check in which was really nice. The first bedroom we got was full of bugs (it had two doors going out to terrace), but we changed the room for interior one and it was ok. In general Phong Nha is full of bugs but I believe the family does it best to keep the house clean (we saw them cleaning around every day). The room was nice, breakfast was ok. The bathroom had a bit of unpleasant smell. Stuff very nice. In general good place to stay in Phong Nha.

Great central hotel”
Duong Duong was very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We arrived at 7 am and he let us check in early and the day we left our bus was at 9 pm and he gave us a blanket to use for the day while we watched Netflix and waited. He booked our bus for us and even walked us over and ensured we got on the correct bus. It is right in the center of town and easy to get around from. Highly recommend!

Great Location, Comfortable Bed, Good Blankets! ”
We booked this place at the last minute and it was the only room left in town! It was still a good choice though due to the comfortable beds, friendly owner, and savings we made on the tour (was a lot cheaper than the place over the road). Breakfast was nice. The usual Viet coffee + eggs and bread - however from memory you do get a choice of a few things. Location was great. The town is quite small and this is pretty much in the center. Food is only a stone's throw away (the best we had was at the 'world's best BBQ/Roast Pork' go early around 6pm so you don't miss out. VERY tasty. located towards the Tourist Info Center on your way from the Homestay.). The guy that owns the place is really friendly and will help you out with anything you need. Our room was a bit noisy from the karaoke outside, but that dies down pretty early. Also, the room wasn't super clean, but it was fine for us. Few mosquitoes around the place, but once caught didn't return.

Friendly owner, great place to stay”
We arrived with the nightbus at 4 am and we could instantly check in into our room, so we could sleep for a few more hours. In the morning we even got breakfast without having to pay anything, very friendly owner! We liked that the homestay is behind the main road. The rooms are spacious and the entire building seems rather new. Definitely recommended!

Problem solved”
When we arrived at 5 am, the staff had no beds left at this hotel, so they organised a room, for the same price, at a more expensive hotel across the street. AND, they still invited us to enjoy the complimentary breakfast at their own hotel each morning. AND they allowed us a very early check in. We would stay here again

Less than we expected”
We chose this establishment for its outstanding reviews. Unfortunately we had some things we didn't like. We had a two-bed room, which was clean and modern, no complaints about that, but only equipped with one blanket initially. It took two times asking to get another one, and only reluctantly. The included breakfast took ages to get and was sort of disappointing. Also the motorbike we asked for the evening before, was not organized in the morning so we had to wait again and thus didn't manage to get to Paradise Cave early, as we had planned. Additionally we only found out afterwards that a stay in a local/this hotel would have got us 30% off the entrance fee of the caves in the National Park. You need a sort of certificate from your hotel for that. And even though they knew where we were going, they didn't give us one. So all in all we cannot go with the superb reviews that were posted before and would rather recommend another place to stay with better overall service.

Perfect place to stay in Phong Nha”
This place is very basic but the room was clean and comfortable and the aircon and shower were both excellent. The hotel is set back from the main road so you can enjoy the scenery and wildlife but is one minute walk from the outstanding capture cafe and the easy tiger hostel, where you can make use of their pool. All the family running the hotel were friendly and welcoming and when I had to change my booking it was dealt with very smoothly and efficiently.

New hotel, well located”
In general, the hotel is great. Our issue was with some very tiny flies that appeared out of nowhere and were all over the place... the room or hallways weren't swept during our stay (or it seemed), so the dead ones were everywhere... Maybe that's been fixed already... Motorbike we rented was not in perfect shape. Breakfast was good and they provide what you need.

The room was dirty, mouldy and smelly! The breakfast was very loveless and poor! It's way overpriced! But at least are the employees friendly! Go to the phong nha hostel few houses further it's way better and same price!

Best place in Phong Nah”
The family running this place is probably the sweetest family you could ever find. They made sure I everything was perfect for my stay. The rooms are big and super clean. Bathrooms are brand new. Internet works perfect. The best thing was that I arrived at 4am in the morning and they let me do an early check in without charging me extra. Can't recommend this place more. PS: as of today, on agoda map the location is wrong. They are situated even more in the centre of the town. Even better!

Fab accommodation for the price”
Firstly our bus arrived at 5am. However they kindly obliged and let us check in at that unearthly hour. They were very helpful. The rooms are spacious, clean, amazing bathrooms and most importantly the aircon works well. Breakfast in the morning is delicious. We rented scooters off them and they gave us a map and recommendations. It's very central and if you ask nicely in the hostel across the road they will let you use the pool which is just 👌. All in all a gem of a place to stay.

We had a very spacious room with a beautiful bathroom and a very comfortable bed. Breakfast was not special but good enough. Staff is very friendly. The location is very good, because it is across the road from the Easy Tiger Hostel, where all the fun is happening. The Easy Tiger only have dorms, so we were glad we could sleep so close but in a private room.

Great room. The bathroom was very unique. Amazing view in a beautiful little town. Clean rooms, helpful staff with lots of tours offered. The breakfast was good and the location was perfect. Off the road so it was very quiet and more secluded than the rest of the hostels.

Excellent hospitality”
We arrived early than check in time, they accomodated us. Food was homely and very safe. They took care us like their own family. We did not have any problem during our stay and they helped us with all information. When we left the owner himself came to drop us off to bus station, we waited for 20mins at bus station but bus did not turn up, it was the last bus for the day. The ower saw us and arranged us a cheap taxi for our way back. I was touched by courtesy.
