The resort itself is stunning- the infinity pool overlooking the sea is breathtaking, and the sunset views are amazing. Our room was spacious, clean, and tastefully designed, offering comfort and luxury in equal measure. Everyone, from the front desk to the restaurant team, was attentive, friendly, and always ready to help anything we needed. The breakfast buffet had a great selection, and we enjoyed every meal we had on the property. It’s the perfect place to relax, unwind, and enjoy a slice of paradise in Cebu. “A Perfect Anniversary Getaway at Dusit Mactan”
We recently stayed at Dusit Thani Mactan Cebu Resort for an early celebration of our wedding anniversary, and we had a truly wonderful experience. From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional. We were kindly accommodated with an early check-in and a late check-out, which gave us more time to relax and enjoy the resort. Our room was spacious, spotless, and very comfortable. We were also pleasantly surprised by the complimentary anniversary cake waiting in our room—such a thoughtful gesture that made our stay even more special. The resort’s infinity pool was a highlight. We had a lovely night swim, and the fact that the pool is heated made it even more enjoyable. We also had fun during the bubble party—it was a lively and memorable addition to our stay. Another standout was the Club Lounge access that came with our room. We thoroughly enjoyed the all-day refreshments, snacks, and evening cocktails. The breakfast buffet was superb, offering a wide and satisfying selection. We also appreciated the billiard/pool table available for guests—it was a fun way to unwind and spend some casual time together. If there’s one minor downside, it would be the beach. We went for an early morning swim around 6 AM. While the water was crystal clear, we noticed a few pieces of litter floating. This may have just been due to the time of day and not a reflection of the resort’s overall beach maintenance. All in all, our stay at Dusit Thani Mactan was superb—comfortable, relaxing, and memorable. The friendly and courteous staff truly made a difference. This is easily a 5 out of 5 experience for us, and we would gladly return!
