This stylish business hotel, situated between the airport and the city center, offers excellent value for money only 20 minutes from the museum quarter. The Dutch Design Hotel Artemis is well-connected to the city center by highways and public transport. The tram stop Aletta Jacobslaan is only a five-minute walk from the hotel and gets to the museum area in 15 minutes. The metro station Henk Sneevlietweg is also close by. Dutch Design Hotel Artemis has very large rooms designed in contemporary Dutch style with wooden floors, tiled bathrooms, cable TV, and free wireless internet access. The Restaurant-Bar ‘De Stijl’ serves great Dutch and international cuisine in a scenic riverside setting.

Excellent”
We had a great stay in Dutch Design Artemis Hotel. The staff are very friendly and helpful. They gave us good tips on how to go around. There is a good art exhibit in the lobby and restaurant. The room is spacious and clean and the bed is very comfy. It’s just a bit out from the tourist areas and restaurants but there is a tram that goes directly there in about 30-40 minutes. I highly recommend this hotel.
Fantastic place ”
I loved all about it, the atmosphere , location and of course the staff. I checked in with the lovely trainee late Wednesday and he really made my day. After a long day and finally getting to Amsterdam he was standing there with the biggest smile and did all so perfect. I just don’t remember his name so well.. But he is a star. He knows for sure how to treat the guest, he told me everything that I needed for my weekend. But at that moment for me the most important thing was FOOD :) I get an online place to order delivery. Just perfect. ;) This young man will come really far with his service! Only trainee and 17 years old, he impressed me. The hotel have a good location, takes about 8 minutes to get to the tram so is taking you to the center of Amsterdam. Around the hotel is perfect to walk with a coffee, the nature around there is beautiful. I will definitely come back quite soon to see more of the beautiful city Amsterdam. Highly recommended :) Best regards from Norway <3
Convenient Location, Good Quality; Slightly Pricey”
I stayed with my 18yo son. Slightly expensive, when you take into account an additional €21 per day for parking. Staff were friendly and helped us plan our travel by public transport into various locations in Amsterdam. Metro station 15 min walk; tram stop 10 min walk. Amsterdam Central Station is 35 mins on tram. Breakfast was very good and we ate in the restaurant one evening - also very good (but again, a little pricey). Overall we had a nice stay and I would use this hotel again.
Lovely hotel, but location not ideal for short break”
Loved the hotel. Enjoyed the design, clean and comfortable. Great breakfast, helpful staff. Location not so good for a short break- bit of a awalk from the bus and we got lost ( though it's easy now I know). Also the industrial/ business location is not so attractive, and a bit bleak at night.
I’d Stay Here Again”
Great hotel, huge clean rooms and bed, heated floor in the bathroom, toiletries and coffee/tea included. Located in the business district so very quiet. Tram/bus station is about 4 minute walk away from the hotel, catch Tram No 2 to get into the city centre which takes about 30 mins. Transport is very frequent tram arrives every 2-4 mins. Airport is 15 mins by Uber, not sure how long the bus takes. Zero cons about the hotel to be honest would deffo book again when visiting Dam.
Check-In Staff was SO Helpful”
Hotel was a good overall experience. Cleaning our room daily was nice. Everything was perfect except its a 5-10 minute walk to the tram and a 20+ minute tram ride into city centre. Also, why do you need a room key just to turn on the bathroom lights? Good hotel tho with amazing front desk staff! They gave us so much advice for college aged festival-goers.
We recommend this hotel”
Pros: this is a nice hotel, with good size rooms, clean bathrooms, welcoming and helpful staff, nice bar area and restaurant with good food. Cons: 10-15 min away from any public transport and 30 min to center. The connections are good so you can get anywhere quite easily
Anniversary celebration.”
Loved everything about this hotel. Early check in as requested. A little plate of treats to mark our anniversary and complimentary drinks at the bar. No 2 tram takes you all the way to Central Station and is recommended by National Geographic. We would stay here again.
Excellent”
Very nice hotel, helpful staff and nice sized rooms. In the business district so bit out of centre but less than 10 minutes to nearest tram which took straight to centre. Quiet location. Clean and comfortable.
Quiet location, close proximity to the airport”
The hotel is located about 10 mins from the airport, easily accessible by an airport shuttle bus or taxi. Located in a quiet location, with clean rooms and friendly staff. Breakfast was good although the choice was quite limited. I would recommend it for short stays especially on business when visiting nearby offices. A bus ride or tram takes about 20 minutes to the city center.
Very good hotel”
Excellent hotel, spotlessly clean. Located approximately 3 miles out of the centre, but a 10 minute walk you are at a tram stop, which is then a 25 minute ride in. Would recommend and stay again.
Exceptional”
Great hotel, clean, friendly staff, couldn’t fault it, 10 mins by tram to centre, booked to go back in March
Return visit, which we enjoyed”
We liked it from word go. Location is good. Bus 69 from AMS airport takes you there in a few minutes for less than3€. If going to the center its only 8 minutes walk through a very green neighborhood. Tram goes frequently. Breakfast was nice on a terracce next to the water. Common areas are very nice. Only thing we missed was a pool. Service is great, lovely front desk. I booked it again for this year.
Far away from central of Amsterdam”
It needs 30 mins by tram from Amsterdam Centraal Station plus 10 mins walk to the hotel. 15 mins to reach the nearest supermarket. The hotel room is big.
best value for money”
Very good location, very good price-quality report
Good business style hotel”
Located out of the city but with short walk to tram so easy to get to city centre Quiet location, good size room and good breakfast. Evening meal in restaurant was good but service a bit slow and price was expensive.
Very satisfactory”
30-minutes train ride from city center, but very calm surroundings. Well decorated, cozy beds, generous breakfast (discount if paid-for ahead of time), close to trains, metro and airport.
Great staying! ”
Beautiful hotel and great breakfast
Artemis Hotel”
The hotel is located at a quite rural area although it is surround by all the business centres such as IBM, PriceCooper Water House and MEXX building. There is a bus service to the place. By taking the GVB bus number 195 actually you can reach the place exactly just within a few minutes walking distance but unfortunately the staffs in the hotel do not know it and suggesting the shuttle bus which cost around EURO 15 per person. If you take a train from schiphol airport, actually you need to transit at Zuig station and take the metro to the place. But the metro station is far from the hotel(within 20 minutes walking distance)
Perfect sleep”
Nice rooms, we had the perfect sleep ever. Breakfast was satisfying. The hotel is situated out of town so we had to walk 10 min to take the tram for 15 min to the city.
