Amazing Hotel”

It was awesome. We enjoyed every bit of it. The location is lovely. Quiet and tranquil and yet still within reach of all the amenities within the Sandton area. Beautiful place overall and quite clean.

Bad Service”

First the security guy was not well mannered and explained me that something wrong was with my payment but he could not show or prove anything. Neither there was anyone else available. So after one hour stress and waiting on the parking he came to say everything is fine without apology. DSTV didnt work. Took the security guy more than one hour to sort it out. No hangers in the cupboard. WIFI didnt work in the room at all during the whole stay. Management didnt worry at all and was just amused. Not recommending this place at all. Poor service. Unfriendly stuff.

Disappointing stay at Forest Sandown”

Would not recommend this hotel. Very noisy. Rooms are tiny and claustrophobic. Portable air conditioning unit takes up far too much space and cannot be used as it is so noisy. Window opens up onto a busy corridor and hence people can see straight into your room should you dare to open your blind. Cupboard door cannot open fully as the bed is in the way. Staff were unavailable for a late check in. Booked in for 5 nights but checked out after 1. After checking out the manager did give me a call offering an upgrade but it was too late. Hoping for a refund.

Dissapointing”

Rooms does not look like pictures at all. Not very practical either. No dressing table. Poor lighting in bathroom. Shower terrible! Too low and took very long to warm up. Room noisy.

After an hour we...We asked for a bigger room. We were told we had to pay cash and would not take card. I wonder why? Dirty brush under bed. Food marks all over side table. Cigarettes butts everywhere outside our room. Linen dirty. I was very happy to leave!!!

It was horrible, the room was small,there was no sink for the dirty dishes.No tap for water,the fan was too loud&the room was hot couldn't sleep without it.no cable had to watch basic channels.it got loud at night with people running up n down the stairs. The was two couples who threw a pool party n they made noise the entire night and following morning. The pictures on the site were different from what we saw. The kettle was empty for making tea in the morning, they didn't refill tea making facilities. I was annoyed i regret going there i will never come there or even recommend anyone to go there.
