Unless you like to stay out in the nowhere, then this hotel is probably not for you”

Dyvith is located in the middle of nowhere. Although it comprise of 2 buildings with a large swimming pool and badminton courts, Dyvith is more like a recreational center than a hotel. I had to wait for my room to be available even at 1620pm. And to make matters worse, the room was sprayed with excessive aerosol making it hard to breath and open my eyes. Avoid

Friendly staff, Great facilities, bad location”

This hotel has an amazing pool and a sweet locker room. The room was adequate and comfortable. However, the hotel is kind of in the middle of nowhere, unless you want to go to the new Japanese Mall called Aeon 2. It's very far from the center of town and Toul Tom Poung/Russian Market, at least 30 minutes with no traffic and could be 1.5 hours with traffic.

Internet not working for 3/4 of our 2 day stay”

The facilities are great, the rooms very comfortable, the staff amazing and accommodating plus they have a wonderful breakfast however we are business travelers and they for the majority of our stay the internet was not working. We kept getting told soon or by a certain hour it would be fixed. It unfortunately was not. The morning we left we actually could access our emails.....not a strong connection though. We live in Siem Reap so we understand internet challenges however for such a large hotel this seemed like very inadequate service. We have stayed at Dyvith before and always enjoy the "extras" this place offers though so if you do not need reliable internet this is a fantastic place to stay!

The hotel is a bit away form the city but since I was on a business trip and had to ot from the city, it was convenient as the area is open and with less traffic. The breakfast is quite tasty and elaborate with a mix of oriental and western cusine. The staff can speak and understand English well enough to be able to communicate. The restaurant does not have many options for dinner though, and there are no restaurants around the hotel.

one tiny criticism, If you are providing tennis, squash and badminton courts you must also provide raquets balls etc that are in good condition. Why have a squash court, and no provisions for travellers to play?

        Good Hotel”

Nice facilities, pleasant staff and good food. The hotel has a nice kids swimming pool and a lap pool. Good gym with range of equipment. Breakfast buffet is nice. Food at the hotel restaurant is reasonably priced and tastes pretty good. Room is comfortable. Wifi works well. Quiet at night. Location is a little out of the way and transportation is a challenge in the evening. Outside of that detail its a great choice for Phnom Penh if you don't have to be downtown.

Then they finally took us in the Dyvith van and he wanted to charge us!! We walked away! The restaurant ok very small portions for amount charged. Asked if we could sit poolside to eat, never came to take our order, finally moved to the cafe area, they do not refill water glasses.. The breakfast was amazing and the beds were comfortable, the pool is nice but definitely meant for experienced swimmers as it is set up lap style, not a bad stay just very disappointed in the service regarding the complimentary airport service!! We had requested it in our order, when we arrived and at checkout!! At the time we were ready to leave the receptionist was clueless!!! And then the young man from Dyvith who took us to the airport wanted to charge us for the trip and he was driving the company van!!!

A thin veneer of luxury hides many faults”

The hotel was busy the day we checked in (Monday, October 9) because power outages in the region were pushing many locals to seek accommodation with a generator and air conditioning. So we expected that there might be a slight delay in getting things ready. We are a well-travelled family and do not have unrealistic expectations of service in Southeast Asia. But we were not ready for having to wait for FIVE HOURS before on of the rooms we had booked could be cleaned and prepared, and only because we kept periodically inquiring as to its status. Every time, the staff looked at me in surprise saying "it hasn't been cleaned yet?", would promise it would be reading in "five minutes", and disappear...and an hour later, we would ask again. Finally, after 9 PM and towing along my two sleepy small children who had been patiently waiting with me (the younger two were already asleep with my wife in the one room that had been ready), we were let into a half-cleaned room. Only the sheets had been changed, and only on two of the pillows...the rest had been left uncovered and shoved in the closet. The bathroom hadn't been properly cleaned, just straightened out. At this point we just wanted a shower and bed, and having seen the hotel's response time, I decided not to wait even longer for a proper bathroom cleaning. The next day, we requested the room be cleaned, hopefully properly this time. While the beds were turned down and we presume the bathroom was properly washed and cleaned, room service neglected to leave behind any shower soap (they left all the lotions and fluids, but no bars of soap). So I decided to call down and let them know we wanted a couple of bars of soap. I picked up the phone and...guess what? None of the supposedly programmed buttons did anything! Everything was nicely labeled and claimed to perform a certain function, but none of the buttons performed its function. Setting aside thoughts of how this phone was a perfect metaphor for the hotel as a whole, w

A brand new hotel, Dyvith is really clean and the staff is amazing! The location is a bit off, so would recommend pick up service from the hotel or detailed directions. My tuk tuk driver had to drive around a bit to find it (google map showed that there was a road but there wasnt when we got there). I would definitely stay here again.

Some attention to detail would go a long way”

Overall, my experience was satisfactory, but I was horrified when I went to unroll the shower mat - it was literally black with mold, indicating that it hadn't been properly cleaned in a long time. Moto parking was in adequate, with my bike being left out in the sun on more than one occasion, and the "guards" were too busy eating to do their job. Anyone could have walked away with a moto. On a positive note, the pool is great, although the almost constant swimming lessons did detract from the experience. Don't get me wrong, I think it's great that people want to learn to swim, but is a hotel pool really the right place to do it. No "swim schools" in Cambodia yet. Breakfast was also pretty good, although waiting until something is completely empty before starting to cook more meant I was finished my omelet before there was any bacon to go with it.

        Good place to stay”

Outside of that detail its a great choice for Phnom Penh if you don't have to be downtown.

poor service, discussed complimentary ride to airport three times, was not ready for requested time”

For Cambodia this is a great place. The staff is complete new so you need to ask them to do everything. They don't know to clean the sink. It they will refill the toilet paper. Breakfast is nice. Ask for Mary for any help needed.

Very nice staff! Location a bit difficult”
