Excellent place to stay and eat”
located in a good spot close to the tower at the prague castle side of charles bridge giving easy access on foot to the old town and most other areas of prague. the reception staff were very friendly and helpful (thank you petra and jana) and nothing was too much trouble to make our stay a memorable one. we were given an upgrade to a huge suite on the first floor overlooking the charles bridge tower, outdoor cafes, and streets. large bedroom and bathroom came with a lounge big enough to fit in about 3 skoda octavias and a flat screen tv etc. great place to relax in. although the bar and restaurant downstairs was very busy and therefore somewhat noisy, everything went quiet at midnight. the beer was home made (cost 39czk per 0.5l) and was very good and the food was also very reasonably priced. menu consists of local dishes and is very popular with the locals and you need to book a table during the day if you wish to eat there in the evening, especially in the no-smoking area. breakfast is included in the room price and was a buffet with hot bacon, eggs and sausages plus cereals, cheeses, meats, various breads and fresh fruit etc. excellent and plenty of it if you wished. well recommended and would stay there again on our next visit.
Best Hotel in Prague”
Lokal Inn is by far the best place to stay in Prague - you feel like one of the locals here. Just a block away from the Charles Bridge and minutes from Old Town, Prague Castle, and John Lennon Wall. Public transportation is nearby with lots of shops and restaurants. Rooms are awesome - an apartment feel. The hotel has a restaurant that is always packed with locals - must try.
Nice hotel....great location.”
We spent three nights here on our first trip to Prague. The room we got was on the corner over the restaurant with a street in front. As other reviews have stated, there is a good bit of noise from the restaurant at night but it ended at a reasonable hour. No air conditioning so it’s worse with open windows. Prague is so busy that I doubt there are many places without some noise issues. The space was palacial....with a large living area, a bath, and a bedroom with a very comfy bed. Breakfast was included and you could get some hot items as well as meat, bread, cheeses, etc on a buffet. It is very close to the bridge and convenient to almost everything. I would stay there again and recommend you check it out.
Great stay”
Loved our stay in Prague. Lokal Inn is as close to the action as possible. If flying in, have the hotel Iine up a driver to pick you up. Worth the money...don't take a cab. Room much larger than expected, very comfortable. The only thing is there is no air conditioning. It was very hot when we were there and air conditioning would have been nice. We were a little apprehensive about the beer party in the lane under our second story window but we took it as entertainment and was not a problem with the windows closed and the fans on full volume. Loved the handy access to the beer bar...so handy to bring another round up to the room. The breakfast was excellent as was the restaurant...make reservations early. The staff was excellent. A special acknowledgement goes out to Barbara who worked the breakfast shift, so pleasant and professional. To Thomas who worked the bar and the restaurant so friendly and engaging. And to Janeta (sp) at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again and recommend to everyone.
Wonderful stay”
Room is huge, I should say apartment unit, clean and classic. Right next to the bridge, with restaurants and convenience stores around. Less-than-10-minute walk from Malostranská station, which is 4-minute subway from Muzeum station, 10-minute walk from Prague Hlavni Nadrazi (so the Inn is around 20-25 minutes away from central station). Pub, which is also where breakfast is served, is busy at night, but it doesn't cause any nuisance to me. Staff members are helpful, and I like the welcome drink at the reception. Washroom could be refurbished a bit, but there's no complaint. Bed is extremely comfortable. Those travelers with large suitcases should note that you have to carry them via staircases, but your room won't be more than two floors up.
Prague on wish list, definitely didn't disappoint”
Excellent. Will stay at Lokal Inn again next visit to Prague. With 24hr reception & very friendly helpful staff it was very easy. The rooms were good size & despite housing a popular bar/restaurant frequented by the locals, the rooms were also quiet & comfortable. Great location for all sight seeing & transport access. Definitely recommend this hotel for multiple reasons.
Housez43 - Super Location n Convenience ”
I was at the Housez43 Hotel when in Prague in August 2018. Wonderful location right near the Charles Bridge. You can walk to see the the signature vistas in a couple of minutes anytime you want from there. One of their nice staff then also guided me well and was very courteous. Lots of food possibilities around, and the old city just right there. . The hotel itself is old style, but I was quite happy with the overall value for money and location it offered.
Overall an excellent value hotel”
Hotel is very well located just over the river by the Charles Bridge. You can walk everywhere in Prague from there within 20-30mins. Hotel check in was very quick. Room was clean and spacious. Everything was as expected or better for the low price. We did organise a pickup from the airport but when we arrived we couldn't find the driver. We waited 10mins and ended up getting a more expensive airport taxi. Hopefully just a one off but pretty annoying. Other than that our stay at Lokal Inn was fantastic. They even gave left a box of chocolates in the room on my birthday without me or my partner telling them about it. They must have got the date from my passport at check in. A really nice touch. Overall I really recommend the hotel as it made the whole weekend very easy and relaxing. PS. breakfast buffet was pretty decent letting us fuel up for the day.
Beautiful in so many ways”
Overall this was one of the best trips my wife and I have taken. The staff were top notch, helping us make reservations for dinners and events. Our room was always clean and had a great view of the west side tower of Charles Bridge. If we go back the Lokal Inn will be on the top of our list for lodging. One thing that could imporve was the wifi, it was free, but limited in some areas of our suite (who cares though, we were in Prague!)
Great Location and value for money”
we arrived at the lokal inn close to midnight for a weekend stay. it was pretty easy to find even during the evening. the first thing i noticed was that there was a pub downstairs so it was quite noisy even at that hour, which i was worried about. but after we checked in and settled in, it was a bit quieter (i think because the pub was closed by then). the location is excellent, it's literally around the corner from charles bridge (on the prague castle side). we walked to most attractions from our hotel. note: there is no air-conditioning in the roooms!!! as it is a czech national heritage building, they cannot alter the structure. we asked the reception desk if they could do anything and they said they had a few fans but they were all in use in other rooms. anyway we slept with the window open which was fine. but it did mean more noise came in from the street. also note: there is no lift. if you have large suitcases this is highly not recommended. we only had a backpack so were fine. even so we had to walk up 4 flights of stairs at room 22. the room and bathroom were very large, there was an extra area for the table as well. free breakfast was included downstairs in the dining area near the reception and there was quite a large variety. on the last day of our stay we were too lazy to go downstairs for breakfast, so we asked to have our breakfast delivered to our room and they brought up the whole range. it was amazing and hard to believe it was all free! there is a restaurant downstairs which seems to be quite popular but we didn't get to try it, handy if you are too lazy to go out for a meal. the staff were also very helpful in advising us on attractions and directions. they gave us a card to get a free cake at cafe savoy and we had lunch there one day and the food was excellent. the lokal inn is perfect if you would like to stay in a classic place with lots of character but not for those who enjoy modern decor. it's not the cleanest hotel.
Great hotel”
We booked the jr. suite and it looked exactly like the pictures. We loved the room. The staff was friendly and helpful. You can't beat the location! The included breakfast was great however the lunch we ate there wasn't as good as other places. Overall, we were thrilled with the time we spent at The Lokal Inn and in Prague.
service with a smile”
great location but no elevator and no aircondition.good breakfast. very much noise until late in the evning. near karl bridge,20 minutes walk to prague castle and 20 minutes walk to old town hall. many resturants and many shops near the hotel. good bear in the resturant of the hotel.
Very nice hotel by the Charles Bridge”
We were very happy with our stay in the Lokal Inn. It's just beside the famous Charles Bridge, very near to the Metro and tram lines as well. The breakfast is very good. Will stay again if we come back to Prague!
Great Hotel in an Amazing Location ”
Just off the Charles Bridge, Lokal Inn is in the heart of Prague. Lovely hotel with friendly staff and is very popular with the locals to get good food and beer on the evenings.
Small hotel in good location”
This hotel is in the old part of Prague near the Charels Bridge. A great location with good rooms. The staff especially reception is very friendly and helpfull. Breakfast is normal.
Excellent location and nice staff!”
We stayed in this small hotel for four nights and got an unforgettable experience there. The hotel is located near to the castle and just two minutes to the Charles Bridge by walk. The staff are quick responsive to request and always ready to help you. Breakfast are good with both continental food and hot food. The first floor is a typical local restaurant with typical Check flavor. Food and beer are wonderful, and also at very friendly price. The restaurant is very popular and you have to reserve a table a couple of days ahead. The hotel rooms are spacious and bright. The facilities are a little bit old and simple but very clean and tidy. All bed linens and tower are quite good and comfortable. No lift, no porter, so have to carry luggage to the third floor.
Beyond my expectations!!! Awesome Hospitality and great service!”
We have room #22 with a foyer and a office den, spacious clean room and bath makes our stay comfortable. We were offered a loaner smart phone with unlimited data and texts, more over we can dial international numbers without any service charge.. Super friendly and great location by Charles Bridge, beer is as review recommended : tasty!Simple and ample quality breakfast I enjoy very much! The only thing I am concerned might be no a/c but fan in the hot summer. Great Inn!
Very nice”
Everything was great But the restaurant they have if u want to have just beer is ok but if want to have dinner I strongly not recommend The worst staffs ever ....The service is zero It was terrible but the hotel excellent! !
Perfect accomadation. Wouldn't stay anywhere else.”
We stayed at Lokal for 3 nights in February. The stay was completely perfect. The hotel organised our taxi to and from the airport, and the reception staff were always helpful. Stayed in room 22 and had no problems with noise. Our room was also massive, a huge bedroom, bathroom and a small study. The beds where extremely comfortable and the bathroom products were lovely. The location is perfect, two seconds from the Charles bridge, but on the quiter side of the river. We had breakfast included and they had a great spread. Probably would never stay anywhere else.
Lovely hotel,friendly and helpful staff”
we loved staying at the lokal inn, we had room 32, which was on the top floor, yes there are many stairs, though this did not take long to get used to. the bed is very comfortable, and good hot shower. staff are very helpful and friendly and speak good english, we arrived very late due to a delayed flight, the young man carried our bag up the many stairs, which was so much appreciated after a long flight. the location is excellent and so close to all attractions and the many wonderful places to dine out. we even had 2 dinners at the lokal inn, the food was fantastic as was the service. i would highly recommend this hotel for a truly wonderful stay.
