It was raining the entire weekend but it was the perfect excuse to stay in and make the most of the log fire and spa.

our romantic escape”
Had a romantic getaway up at Eagle View Escapes Rydal Our room had big glass windows overlooking the Lake - , we had a spa near the window - where you could relax in a bubblebath and look out of the window at the amazing wildlife and scenery with a gas log fire going in the background . We had a great time - it was spur of the moment with Bel just getting over being sick and not wanting to infect anyone - so we thought just a getaway for the two of us was the way to go - but from the walk in to the rooms through the long underground tunnel with the star lights to the spa it was a great place to spend a few days definately 100% will go back had a fantastic time didn't want to come home
great location of wildlife with modern spa suite”
we drive around 2.5 hours fr sydney to eagle view escape for our honeymoon. as we are a bit late, we arrive at dark. while we near to eagle view, wild kangaroo, "warnbat", rabbit and goat started block your road. they are so cute. the reception are very nice. when get in the modern, sophisticated and romantic room, my husbund and i think that we didn't get a wrong place for honeymoon. we love the food in eagle view escape too.
Beautiful view and amazing serentiy”
We stayed in the Lake View Spa room for a night as a part of a weekend escape in the Blue Mountains region. We wish we could have stayed much, much longer. The room was very clean and comfortable and the view was magnificent. The best part was the private nature of the room; we barely saw other guests and that was perfect for what we were looking for. The in-room spa was also a very good feature. I cannot wait to take my partner back there and stay longer. We'll probably opt for a cabin next time.
Breathtakingly Beautiful”
A MUST see destination. Eagle View Escape is a place to unwind and get back to nature.Kangaroos iin front of our room, and different varieties of birds to hear and see. The view of the lake wwas amazing. The room was warm and very comfortable. The staff were wonderful. We will come aagain.
Gorgeous get away”
Absolutely loved staying at Eagle View and would definitely look to staying again. The view was amazing, even the drive to the hotel was wonderful. Staff were extremely friendly and accomodating. One of the highlights was waking up to that magical view and even having a few horses and Kangaroos grazing right in front of our room. Was so peaceful, no traffic noise or anything like that and was lovely to sit on the balcony at night and see the Milky Way. Room was lovely and we took full advantage of the spa. Would definitely come here again.
Romantic, serene and relaxing!”
One of the most amazing retreats in the Blue Mountains, it is located about 40mins from Katoomba on the top of some beautiful, green rolling hills. The remoteness of the location made you that much closer to nature and left you to focus on the important things in life. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The highlight was the spa located in the room which had the most wonderful view of the mountain. We had a cheeky drink whilst soaking in the spa as the sunset before us. Truly an amazing retreat where all the comforts of a 5 star hotel can be found.
Beautiful”
After a long drive from Sydney I was so relieved that Eagle View lived up to my expectations and more! The room was perfect and the view was the best view I've ever had from a hotel room. The food packs that can be bought are fantastic, the barbecue pack was Huge and so worth the money. My husband and I had a great romantic night away from the city amongst nature, so quiet and relaxing, we will be back but for longer next time!
fantastic hotel in a great location”
The hotel is great, the location is great, the spa is amazing and the staff are very helpful. The webpage pretty much says it all. There's also heaps to do around the area, like bushwalking and bouldering at Evans Crown and mountain biking at Rydal. Hassans Walls lookout in Lithgow is also definitely worth a visit.
Escape with the nature”
Will definitely stay at Eagle View Escape again. The view was wondrous especially in the morning. It was so far out away from the city that it was totally pitch black looking out from the balcony. And because it was so pitch black, we could snap photos of the milky way from the balcony with long exposure using the dslr. Lovely!
Incredibly relaxing place”
Such an amazing place to come to after a long tiring hikes at the Blue Mountains. Stay in the tub for hours looking out to the amazing view of Lake Lyell. Watch the sunrise from the balcony as the mist lifts up from the water. This should be 5 star. The staff was so nice and helpful. Would absolutely go back. Oh, and don't forget to say hello to their friendly alpacas :)
Relaxing escape.”
A beautiful remote escape, with gorgeous facilities. I would highly recommend Eagle View Escape.
amazing place”
such a amazing place!!!! stunning view!!! we are in love with eagle view escape...
A very secluded place with great views”
We had a wonderful stay at Eagle View... the service was good.. we stayed in executive spa. The views were good but we thought Lake View Spa would have better views but we chose to stay in executive spa because it had air conditioning and was newly built compared to lake view spa. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would try lake view spa room next time.
Excellent”
Loved every minute here! The views, the animals, the spa. Just the kind of relaxing weekend every couple needs. Very cosy and inviting place. the staff at eagle view are lovely as well. Highly recommended ❤️
Wonderful views but accommodation in need of TLC.”
We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 nights.Noting a few minor things for attention, windows were unfortunately dirty, hindering Eagle View Escape's "Million Dollar" views,a dated, partly working stove needs replacement, some exterior TLC needed but rooms very clean and comfortable. Weather fine and mild for mid October. We would definitely recommend Eagle View Escape to our friends and would love to come again.
Dreaming Cabin”
Everything about Eagle View could be phenomenal. However, the cabin needed a little TLC. Some of the decor was tired . the outside table was too small to use and was chipped. More basics were needed (like an extra spoon for cooking, egg cups for serving, etc.) The views to the lake were blocked by overhanging trees, which could have been sensational. This could be an amazing place with just a little more consideration.
Great couples getaway!”
Hands down! This accommodation is beautiful! In terms of view, facilities, staff! Everything was lovely! So peaceful and quite! Just what we were looking for to get away from the crazy busy Sydney life! Wake up every morning with a thick fog right outside out balcony (winter season of course), stunning view! Even in the evening, step out of your room and you'll actually see big bright stars, it was spectacular! It would top it up if you could set up a bonfire. 20mins drive to town, you don't need to bring much since they've got Coles, Aldis, Woolies and Pharmas. So before you head into the hotel stop my Lithgow and grab your groceries to save you driving 20mins out just to buy groceries or a toothbrush after checking in. They've got you covered and also lots of things to see and visit. Otherwise it was a memorable stay and we'll definitely be back!
Nice place, close to nature, good for relax ”
Fantastic to stay there for vacation! too shame I has work the next day, otherwise I will stay for few more days, really kind of refreshment, to escape from the busy work or school day, the guest book is full of the customer's comment and wanna to come back again not to mention Im one of them :) I didnt mark the food well cz there is more self cooking thg, but is nice to be self cooking, and I would like to try the restaurant in there on weekends, cz they only open in weekends.
Relaxing, quiet and romantic”
It was beautiful here, very peaceful and away from the hustle and bustle. Staff were attentive but not overbearing. Bring plenty of food as it is not very close to restaurants outside of the hotel but the kitchen is well equipped. Its a great place to get cosy and escape from everyone. Loved it and definitely would go back.
Lovely location”
We enjoyed ourselves but as a mature couple not newly weds we needed more activities at the hotel such as a restaurant and pool, a treatment centre and a bar. I am sure newly weds who don't want to leave their room will find a lot to like at Eagle Escape but if you have been married 30 years like my wife and I the resort needs to offer more than just an 'escape' to bring you back. For value for money we expected more..
