"The staff is friendly and everything is well maintained. I have no complaints about the management here. It is a very stylish design in the lobby and inside the room. My issue with this hotel is that the room is so tiny for any business traveler. There is no desk for you to comfortably put your laptop on and work on things. I had a room with a window on the second floor, which is very noisy the night as it was just next to the road. The window was not designed to isolating the noise. If you are okay with noise and tiny room, this is a good option for you. But probably not for the business traveler. Since my reservation is non-refundable, I just switched to another hotel nearby to have a good environment for sleep and work. "

Mayflower Hotel & Apartments
Earls Court,Earls Court - View on map
"Stayed at the superior studio apartment 10W wich is spacious, very clean and with very comfortable bedding. There's a small kitchenet with kitchen utensils, plates and cutlery for 2. Everything is clean and even the aircondition worked quiet. Only problem - when I first booked, it wasn't clear, that the apartment was in another building ca. 300m from the hotel and on the 3rd floor without elevator. For someone with kneeproblems this proved to be quite a challenge, coming home in the evening. Earls Court Station entrance is just 20m from the apartmentbuilding. So is a bus-stop. Earls Court Main Street is 5min away on the other side of the block. "

K+K Hotel George Kensington
Earls Court,Earls Court - View on map
"Just returned home today from spending 4 nights at K & K. I booked this property because the pictures were nice, the price was nice and I was familiar with the area, knowing I would be a one minute walk from one of the most convenient tube stations (Earls Court - which we easily traveled directly to and fro from Heathrow). What I wasn’t expecting was how CLEAN and warm and quiet the place is. And the staff - so polite, kind and doing the best job they can - at front desk, housekeeping, restaurant staff, even the gentleman that served us our afternoon tea in the cozy lounge. Overall, if you want to stay somewhere that feels like a hotel but also feels a bit like home then this is a good place. Beds are so comfy, linens are crisp white, and bathrooms were very clean and well kept. Plus loads of closet space. We had a room on the 4th floor with 2 twins, desk and a little lounger. I believe it was an upgrade room from the standard 2-twins. Plenty of space. We would definitely book again."

My Place Hotel
Earls Court,Earls Court - View on map
"My Place Hotel is cheap by London standards, so my expectations were reasonably low. I was pleasantly surprised. Sure, the room could do with an update, the lamp shade was all out of shape and wonky, the TV was tiny and almost on the ceiling, there was a big water stain on the ceiling of my room, the lift felt like it would give out at any minute. At least the shower was hot, even if one had to sit on the toilet side-saddle. But, I didn't pay 5 star prices, so why would I expect 5 star results? You can't beat the location - a few doors up from the tube station - on the same line as Heathrow and St Pancras. There is a little supermarket around the corner, heaps of places to eat and drink. You can walk to the Museum of Natural History and V & A. That's all pretty attractive - certainly more attractive than the curtains and bedspread in my room! The staff were friendly and helpful. The wifi was good and free. I reckon I'd stay again next time I'm in London."

More about Earls Court

An affluent and densely-populated area, the heart of bustling Kensington lies in the market shops lining Kensington High Street, leading onto the large Royal Park of Kensington Gardens. Set inside the park is royal residence Kensington Palace – a residence of the British Royal Family since the 17th century, with its magnificent State Rooms open to the public.

Nearby, the Royal Albert Hall has been used for over 150,000 events, including rock and classical concerts, ballroom dancing, poetry recitals, conferences, education, motor shows, ballet, opera and circus shows.

In South Kensington, a number of small boutiques are clustered close to the tube station. The adjoining Exhibition Road links the area's educational institutions and museums, which include the Science Museum, Natural History Museum and the Victoria & Albert (V&A).

The less affluent Earls Court is home to one of England’s largest indoor arenas and a popular concert venue, Earls Court Exhibition Centre. A wide selection of budget and mid-range hotels is clustered nearby. The area has a large concentration of young Australian residents, attracted by its affordability and central location. With its many Asian restaurants, Earls Court Village has become the center of the Filipino British community.

Kensington and Earls Court are well-served by numerous tube stations and buses.
