    Convenient hotel to stay”

    complete personal hygiene supply

East Asia Hotel is good as to location thou the lifts are so small to carry three persons with luggage. Room for three persons is spacious. Bathroom supplies are well provided. Room is clean and comfortable to stay with. The front liners staff were quite unfriendly but the rest of the staff are nice. The waitress on the restaurant on the ground floor easily got angry considering that they don't know how to speak English. So far we enjoyed our stay in this hotel as well as in Macau.

    Value for money!”

Clean room, affordable, near the heritage site

Hotels in Macau can be quite expensive and it was a joy when we found East Asia because it's quite affordable compared to others. But what we were more pleased when we arrived at the hotel and saw the room. It is newly renovated, room is big and clean, so is the bathroom and good location (just 5-10 minute walk from the heritage sites). They also have free wifi. Don't expect a view though. There were three of us who stayed in a double room and they did not charge us extra. If you're traveling on a budget but still want the comforts of a basic hotel, this is the right place to stay in.

    Our first time in Macau”

    Position, ease of access, cost

We travelled with our son who lives in China. The hotel was acceptable in every way, it is so central that we were able to walk everywhere, exploring the alleyways and generally getting a feel of the surrounding area. We would enjoy returning to the area and would most certainly use the East Asia Hotel again - lovely hot water in the bathroom, air-conditioning that works, windows that open, what more could a traveller want.

Clean, Internet in room, Close to major attractions

Alighted in Macau International Airport. Walking distance to Taipa Ferry Terminal, about 15 min. A lot of casino free shuttle buses provided in Taipa Ferry Terminal. Take free shuttle bus provided by Lisboa Hotel. From Lisboa Hotel, walking distance, about 10 min, to major attractions (Senado Square, Ruins of St Paul...). Walk further down, about 5-10 min, would reach East Asia Hotel. Casino Ponte 16 Hotel is beside East Asia Hotel. Casino Ponte 16 Hotel provide free shuttle bus to Macau Ferry Terminal & Boarder Gate. Same, a lot of casinos free shuttle bus is provided in Macau Ferry Terminal. Anyone can take the casino free bus to travel to all casinos.

    value for money, great location

East Asia is strategically located... mostly walking distance to the "must see places" in Macau. The rooms are clean and orderly. The guests can rest and sleep well because the hotel is peaceful and quite. The staff are courteous and willingly provide information on which places to go and how to get there. It really is a good value for money.

    Big Rooms and very accessible

East Asia Hotel is very accessible to senado square and other attractions in Macau. You can only walk 15 minutes going to Senado Square. The rooms are great it is big but the elevator is too small it can only carry 5 pax. Bathrooms are not that satisfying but it is clean. The next time I go to Macau still I will go back to East Asia because of its reasonable price and accessibility.

I would say that having chosen this accommodation was worth it. No doubt that they have good service, clean room and cheap rate. good location, not too expensive”

The hotel is very close to the Ruins of St. Paul's and all those tourists attractions in the city centre. There're many cheap local restaurants around. The price is okay for what you get. The facility looks a bit old, but still functional. We got window-room with a bit sea view from Ponte 16, and could see the firework show next to the Macau Tower. Hotel staff were helpful. It's good for a short stay.

Big room, 10-15 min walk to senado square, 5 min walk to ponte 16 (for free shuttle)

    1) room 508 is newly renovated. the room is for 2, but very spacious. 2) bed is a little hard (but tolerable). they have extra comforters in the cabinet, you can use them to cover the bed. 3) outlets are universal and there are plenty of them, no need to bring universal adapter 4) elevator is small, but tolerable. 5) frontdesk personnel only know a bit of english, you can't get much information from them. 6) the room provides basic supplies like soap, shampoo, towels, tissue, tea. and they also have hair dryer and water heater (for drinking). they dont have free bottled water though. 7) 10-15 mins walk to senado square. and 5 mins walk to ponte 16 (sofitel) which offers free shuttle to macau ferry terminal. overall, for a budget traveler, it's ok. i can stay there again if ever i come back to macau again.
