Clean, Quiet and Great view”
EAST Hong Kong offers exactly what I look for. It is next to CityPlaza which offers a wide range of food choices and also shopping categories. I myself was just looking for a clean, quiet place for some good rest. I spent most of my time in the corner room enjoying the harborview. I visited the gym and it was relatively small but staff are welcoming and friendly. Overall, I like the place.

I hadn't done much research about the hotel before booking but was pleasantly surprised with the sustainability program my wife and I found going on. There were no individual shower amenities nor paper-wrapped soap meaning no plastic containers nor barely used soap bars being thrown away. Instead, there were pump bottles, which got refilled. Breakfast, in the restaurant, was ordered through a mobile app and not a buffet; perhaps due to social distancing but also cuts down on food wastage. We weren't given bottled water in the room but a separate tap for drinking water with it's own filtration system. This encouraged using our own water bottles. The room was comfortable but figuring out the curtain system took some time. In the end, we found a switch, which wasn't marked. We couldn't work out how to turn the lights on in the open bathroom so all the room lights went on! After experiencing the open bathroom, I personally prefer a room with a shower, toilet and sink. All in all, we enjoyed our 2 nights.

Harbor corner room (located on 30/F) Super Good view and service! In-room delivery is amazing as well, good food and delicate breakfast included. It would be perfect if a bathtub is provided.

My favorite hotel in HK”
I stayed at East many times over the past 2 years and always has good experience. The room is very clean and the staff is very accommodative. It’s located next to Taikoo station and it’s attached to a mall - super convenient.

Things to be done by taking a Staycation inside East Hong Kong: 1. Take a nice hot shower inside a slippery-free shower 2. Enjoy yourself sitting at the window side of a Harbour View room (which was a showroom of the eastern Kowloon) You may consider posting it on Instagram 3. Grab some takeaways from Cityplaza or from the neighbourhood 4. Hit the well-equipped gym or glassy swimming pool 5. (last but not least) Go to SUGAR, locating on the top floor, enjoy the sunset and the vibes

Cozy room with modern deco”
A one-night staycation in this difficult time of the year was fairly relaxing. Able to swim at the hotel pool in the sun and sunbathe afterwards; then followed by an evening drink at the roof top bar, Sugar.. I love the simple and modern deco of the room. Not bad at all!
