"Located in an older, run down part of East Mesa. A block down the road were junkies & transients begging for money. We arrived at 2pm for our scheduled early check-in, but our room wasn't ready. Asked to use the lobby restroom and she said they were not for the public (even though we were paying guests). Later I saw her give the mailman keys to use the restroom. Came back at 3pm and got the room keys. There is no elevator to the 2nd floor. Our reservation was for 2 queen beds, but the room only had 1 bed. I call the front desk & was told to go back to the front desk to get new room keys (most hotels would have sent someone to the room with new keys). Our new room was on the 1st floor. However, it reeked of cleaning spray smell. Breakfast the next morning was cereal, toast, coffee, and orange juice. Lacking in food quality we chose to eat elsewhere. The only positives are the price & being pet-friendly at extra $10/night. Staff were not rude, just did not have common courtesies."

"We usually stay at Sheratons/Westins but their prices and locations didn't fit our needs this trip and I relied on the reviews to select this hotel. We were so glad I did! Opted for the King Suite so hubby could work in the 'living room' while I sleep a little longer. Everything was clean - carpets, bathroom, bedding, buffet downstairs, halls, parking lot. Buffet was kept well stocked, spotless and fresh. Someone was constantly on task and there's a variety. Our room 518 was next to the elevator. We actually tested it to make sure it wasn't going to be a noise issue - no problem, no noise! We were closer to the freeway but again, no problem. I heard a motorcycle twice but nothing disturbed our sleep or drew our attention outside. Must be pretty well insulated/good windows. Could hear the neighbor's TV at night a bit (muffled) from the living room, but not from the bedroom. Staff was friendly/efficient. Definitely will stay here next time we visit family! "

"I stayed at the Country Inn & Suites for 10 nights. I have family that lives in the area, whom I visit at least once a year. This is my first time at this property and it pretty much ticked all the boxes. Room 427 was a good size with separate seating area. King bed was comfortable, pillows and linens clean and fresh. Plenty of towels. The TVs were a bit problematic but I wasn’t in the room that much to be bothered. It over looked the pool and the freeway. I wasn’t affected by the freeway as it was just white noise to me. Some may find this noisy tho. Housekeeping was very good and staff friendly. Perfect location for shopping and a variety of restaurants. I didn’t take part in the breakfast provided, but it did smell yummy! Never used the pool but it looked like there was an issue as I watched it turn greener & greener each day. Filter issue? All in all, would stay again and recommend others to stay. "
