Comfortable, Affordable, Quiet, Well-run, Basic”
For me a very good choice. Prefer relaxed atmosphere to the Strip. The Strip when you want it is accessible via nearby Flamingo Rd. by car or LV RTC bus public transport #202, which stops next to the hotel. Room rate was very good. Hotel seems to be very well run. Staff is businesslike but helpful and friendly. Room very comfortable and clean. Food choices were good over a handful of restaurants which don't operate nightowl hours for the most part. 24 hr. old Vegas-style Chuck Wagon restaurant just across Boulder Highway from the hotel in the Longhorn Casino. Eastside Cannery has just basic hotel amenities-- no doormen, bellmen, concierge, business center, gym facility or 24 hr. room service. Be sure also to phone hotel desk in advance to arrange taxi service because cabs don't usually line up at the hotel at present. Cab line-up may be availiable 1/2 mile NW at Sam's Town. But for a comfortable, quiet, affordable and efficient place to stay away from the craziness of the Strip the Eastside Cannery is hard to beat.

Great Experience”
Our experience was exceptional. The price was very reasonable and well worth the price. The staff went out of their way to make us comfortable and made sure we had all we needed. The only downfall, as with other casino hotels, is the smell of cigarette smoke because I am not a smoker. Despite that, I will continue to use the Eastside Cannery Casino Hotel next time we travel to Las Vegas, NV.

Great value for the money. Newly built.”
My stay at the Eastside Cannery Hotel Casino was great. The hotel was recently built so the rooms and the overall condition of the hotel was nice, new, and clean. The self-parking was easy and just around the corner from the hotel elevators. I had requested a high floor room and it had a great view of the Strip. For the money, this hotel is a great bargain and it also does not have any resort fees. The location of the hotel on Boulder Highway may be a little off-putting for some, but I think that the value is well worth it. I would definitley stay here again and would reccomend it to anyone who is budget-minded but also would like to stay in a nice, new hotel in Las Vegas.

Outstanding value for beautiful clean rooms”
As always, the Eastside Cannery is the only hotel we stay at because of the large clean beautiful rooms and bathrooms. The hotel has been open for a couple of years and the rooms, bathrooms, and casino still look brand new. As always, the front desk staff, housekeeping, and valet staff are attentive and always up for what ever your needs are. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone. It is unbelievable the quality and what you get for your hard earned money. We can afford to stay anywhere and on the strip. If you want something a little quieter and less congested with easy access, then you must try the Eastside Cannery at least one time, I promise you, that you will be sold on future stays.

Winner! Great place for the value. Newer hotel. ”
Stay here! Easy access to the freeway. Only 10/15 drive to Downtown and the Strip. If you are familiar with Vegas, it is right near Sam's Town. Rooms were large and clean. Comes with a small fridge. The nearby casinos charge a resort fee and an internet fee. Free at the Eastside Cannery. Also, Buffet is better priced than the Station Casinos. Sign up for the slot card to get a few $ off the buffet and drinks.

It's hard to fault”
Although the hotel is situated a fair distance from the strip and everything it offers, it was perfect for us. Check in was swift and easy, the staff were extremely informative even to the extent of showing us where the bus stopped (just outside actually) for a fifteen minute ride into the main sights, and at $5 for a twenty four hour unlimited ticket, an absolute bargain. The room itself was spacious and comfortable, Wi fi good and as clean as a whistle. Although breakfast was not included the restaurants were of a pretty good standard and the food really very nice indeed. We liked it here a lot, the price was right and we had a lot of fun without the hectic madness of staying on the strip full time. Well done Eastside Cannery.

Great room, friendly staff.”
I don't like staying on the strip when I travel to Vegas for business. This hotel was off the strip, but still has a very nice casino. The room was beautiful with an incredible city view. I loved the decor, too. I will definitely be staying at the Eastside Cannery again!

Very fun weekend”
We enjoyed our stay at the Eastside Cannery. I enjoy the Boulder Highway location due to it being within driving distance of the Strip, but not ON the Strip. Boulder Highway has plenty of shopping and restaurants. The hotel staff was friendly and the food at the restaurant was very good. Excellent value for the money. I will definitely stay at the Eastside Cannery again.

excellent facility”
Great place. Usually I stay at Harrahs on the strip but rate Eastside Cannery Much higher first and foremost to the staff hospitality and secondly to the value. Was not real happy the way security handled the show on New Years Eve in Marilyns Room but not a reason not to return. My new place to stay in Las Vegas.

Comfortable, felt security prescence, price ”
Pro: Considering the price of the room was low, we anticipated substandard acomodations and were delightfully surprised to find such a nice hotel off the strip. We used the valet and self parking and were happy with both. Security was good and we did not feel ill at ease at any time. We joined the Cannery Club in order to use the discount for food and perks for slots and again thought it would be substandard, which it was not. The only Con was when entering the hotel you were overcome with "smoke smell" but once inside it disapated quickly. The neon lights on the outside of the hotel made it easy to spot from all over the area. There is a Walmart across the street to pick up anything you may have forgot or needed. The pool & spa area are very nice although we did not use it due to the weather. The front desk printed out our boarding passes(we checked in online in our room) for the flight home(there is no business center)and the free internet enabled us to look up maps and get directions as we are considering relocating to the area. Because this hotel is "off the strip" there are many options to eat without breaking the bank. We would not have any problem recommending this hotel to others and will stay there again. (Of course there is nothing child related other than the pool.)

Always a pleasant visit and No Resort Fees!”
Eastside has one major draw for me, no resort fees! Saving that $15 to $35 per day separates them from so many casino hotels in Las Vegas. That is first on the plus list. The rooms are clean and all have a view. Breakfast at SNAPS is enjoyable. Every member of the staff was pleasant. There is a bus stop at the edge of the parking lot which is the beginning of the 202 route. You can get on a double-decker bus at this stop and ride it to the strip. Bus tickets were $6 to ride the regular routes for 24 hours or $8 for tickets that would take you let you ride them and the Strip buses. It cost me $3 to ride from the hotel to the Airport, with one transfer, when I left. Very convenient. I played BlackJack and Craps. Both were enjoyable encounters with both the staff and other guests. I won a Hot Seat award of $100 through a local promotion, just for being in the right place at the right time. On the minus side, there are few dining options at Eastside, a Deli, a Steak house, a moderate buffet and a Denny's type of restaurant named SNAPS. The food at all restaurants was pleasant and well prepared. I had rooms on the 7th and 13th floors and one could smell cigarette smoke when exiting one's room. Not sure if it was from the casino, or other guests on the same floor. The BlackJack tables were typically limited to one $5 and one $25 table, even if patrons were waiting. I received a better than advertised rate through Agoda and use their services when I travel to Las Vegas. I hope this helps on your next visit.

Fantastic stay”
This hotel never fails to impress us. The room rates are very reasonable for the standard of room you get and they do not charge the resort fee that most casinos in Vegas now charge. In addition you get many things here that you do not get in other casinos such as a fridge in your room and a free coffee and wine/ beer voucher when you check in. Check in was highly efficient and daily room service excellent. The pool area is vast and in the sun all day. The location is ten miles from the Strip but is great if you like to get away from it all. We have stayed here many times and will continue to return whenever we visit Las Vegas.

Great value for money , large clean room”
We absolutely enjoyed our stay. We will come back next time we're in Vegas :-). The hotel is in very good location close to other good hotels and restaurants . The rooms are large with very comfortable beds . Clean bathroom with bath and shower . Also loved the pool as its quiet , good for a relaxing swim . The room has fridge , iron , flatscreen tv , etc . Staff are very friendly and helpful especially the guys at reception . We also stayed for 2 days at MGM Grand while in Vegas , but came back to East Cannery as its a much better hotel . Goes to show , expensive doesnt always mean better quality !

Great little taste of Vegas”
Had just one night in Vegas on a road trip, so we went for value rather than all the lights on the Strip. What a great choice! The Eastside Cannery had a fabulous room for the price, came with free drinks and breakfast, and had an excellent cover band playing in the casino bar. We really enjoyed the stay.

Always Get the Petite Siute”
Been at the Eastside Cannery a few times - always in a Petite Suite which is more than well worth the upgrade. Fantastic views and bathroom with two-person soaking tub (bring bubble bath and candles) and shower. Request Northwest corner room on high floor :-) Note: the casino is MUCH smokier than remembered. Maybe the smoke-eaters are not working, but it stunk bad. Basically, we just stay there for the outstanding room

wonderful, friendly, affordable, comfortable”
It was great! This hotel is a fantastic place to stay. The rooms are stylish and feature floor to ceiling windows and free internet, at a fraction of the cost of the same type of room at a resort on the Las Vegas Strip. It is not crowded or noisy. All areas are very well kept and very clean. The restaurants include a buffet, a coffee shop, and a deli. The food is delicious and affordable. The staff of the hotel, casino, and restaurants were friendly and very attentive.

Fantastic Room”
Eastside Cannery unexpectedly upgraded my room from a standard king to a king petite suite (possibly because I booked via Agoda - they did mention Agoda when I checked in). Others in my group who booked elsewhere were not so fortunate. The upgrade was awesome. After seeing their rooms, I may never book just the standard king. The petite suite is worth it - so much larger with wet bar and the expansive bathroom had a separate tub, large walk-in shower and toilet compartment. Very Zen.

Relaxing and comfortable.”
I really enjoyed it. I regularly stay over weekends in in Las Vegas and I've used Eastside Cannery a couple of times. Everything is clean and tidy and well presented. The staff are polite and helpful.

Pleasantly Surprised”
My stay was exceptional. The staff was very friendly and an agent from the front desk assisted me in explaining and using my Casino Rewards card. Kudos to the front desk staff. Free Coffee and Danish as well as your choice of Beer or Wine provided daily during your stay. You have to pick up the Coffee and Danish at a Kiosk in the Lobby and the alcoholic beverages at the Bar. Although I never took advantage (of the perks as they call them) during my stay, I found that to be a valuable extra. Just a 10 to 12 minute drive to the Las Vegas strip by car. Not an issue for me as I avoid all the Noise from the strip. I never had an issue with my key cards as I have read that others commented on. No problem at checkout, you can also checkout on your in room TV. I would have given a 4 1/2 if the smoke was less of an issue. At The Orleans Casino, they have air freshener filtering through the ventilation system which makes staying inside the casino more tolerable for me, so you can guess where I did the majority of my gambling. I think other Vegas casinos should pick up on this.
