Agoda allows properties to self-declare, to potential guests, that the properties have put in place certain amenities, measures, and/or efforts (together, “amenities”), including but not limited to amenities conducive to a cleaner or more hygienic environment on their premises. Those properties that self-declare certain amenities relating to cleanliness or hygiene may also elect to display a Hygiene Plus badge.

Neither the Hygiene Plus badge nor any amenities-related information displayed on Agoda is a guarantee from Agoda that an accommodation is risk-free or that risk has been controlled to a certain level. On their initiative, each property simply self-declares to potential guests that the property has put in place certain amenities, as listed on its Agoda property page. Agoda does not verify or certify such self-declarations.

As a traveler, you have the responsibility to follow government advice, enforce personal hygiene measures, and apply social and physical distancing during your stay. Agoda encourages you to engage in safe travel in a responsible manner and to remain vigilant to changing conditions.

User Terms

All information displayed on Agoda about any property-related amenities, measures, and/or efforts (together, “amenities”) – including without limitation amenities relating to cleanliness and hygiene – is information self-declared by the property. You acknowledge that Agoda does not verify or certify any such self-declaration and that the property alone is representing to you that, at the time of booking, it has put in place the amenities displayed.
You acknowledge that neither the Hygiene Plus badge nor any amenities-related information displayed on Agoda is a guarantee from Agoda that an accommodation is risk-free or that risk has been controlled to a certain level.
A property may, from time to time, change its self-declaration with regard to which amenities the property has in place, and may choose to remove the Hygiene Plus badge. You should, prior to checking in, contact the property directly to confirm the status of any amenities at the property, as the availability or implementation of amenities may change from time to time.
If you experience any issues after checking in, you should communicate any concern with the property directly
You acknowledge that if you exhibit any signs of high body temperature or contagious disease, a property may prevent you from checking in.
YOU ACKNOWLEDGE AND AGREE THAT THE PROPERTY AND ITS OWNER AND MANAGEMENT SHALL HAVE SOLE RESPONSIBILITY AND LIABILITY TO YOU IN CONNECTION WITH THE HYGIENE PLUS BADGE, ANY SERVICES PROVIDED AT THE PROPERTY, ANY AMENITIES, OR LACK THEREOF, AT THE PROPERTY, OR ANY DECLARATIONS OR REPRESENTATIONS RELATING THERETO. AGODA SHALL HAVE NO RESPONSIBILITY OR LIABILITY TO YOU OR ANY THIRD PARTY IN CONNECTION WITH THE HYGIENE PLUS BADGE, ANY SERVICES PROVIDED AT THE PROPERTY, ANY AMENITIES, OR LACK THEREOF, AT THE PROPERTY, OR ANY DECLARATIONS OR REPRESENTATIONS RELATING THERETO.
Unless otherwise specified here or notified by Agoda, Agoda’s Terms of Use and Privacy Policy remain applicable to you. In the event of any ambiguity in these terms, Agoda’s reasonable interpretation shall prevail. Agoda may amend these terms from time to time, and by using Agoda’s booking platform, you accept any such amendments.
You shall submit any dispute(s) in connection with these terms, any amenities, or the Hygiene Plus badge to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Singapore, if such dispute(s) cannot be amicably resolved.
If any portion of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remainder of these terms shall not be adversely affected by such finding, and the invalid or unenforceable portion shall be replaced by a new, valid and enforceable provision having similar effect to the maximum extent possible.
