Stayed here a few times- Good location right next to the Quayside, walking distance to town centre & train station. Very clean, comfortable & staff are friendly. Worth looking at the upgrade options - very good value for money.

Great Value Hotel”
I stayed here after a works night out as it offered excellent value for a hotel in the middle of Newcastle. Easily located on the Quayside, the rooms were small but ideal for me as I was the only one staying in the room. The bathroom was clean and well equipped, staff were helpful at check out and check in, will use again for sure.

Basic but perfect ”
We were two friends needing somewhere to stay for one night after travelling from another city to go to the theatre. The room was basic but perfectly adequate, the beds very soft and comfortable and the shower roasting hot. Everything was clean and the room had two big windows so it was light. We were cold (it was December) but the woman on the reception desk was very friendly and helpful and she gave us an extra duvet and offered us a heater if we were still cold. We felt very welcome. The location was amazing, a few minutes’ walk to the theatre and the shops. Would stay again. 10/10

Ideal for Quayside venues ”
Cheap and cheerful. Not fancy, but it’s clean, perfectly located & the staff are very helpful. If you are just looking for a base to get your head down. It’s perfect. If you want 5 star luxury, then go somewhere else and pay the price for it. I personally could not fault this hotel, for the price, and the friendliest helpful staff. Also cheap parking close by in the Quayside multi storey.

Helpful staff - arrived having booked a four night stay but in two separate rooms. I asked if I could change rooms because first room didn't have a window. They did this at no extra cost. Also staff were always friendly, approachable and knowlegeable. Room - clean, comfortable and spacious (for one person) although it wasn't cleaned everyday. This wasn't an issue for me. Hairdryer, towels and soap provided. No tea/coffee provided (although machine in foyer) that I missed. Facilities Corridors and stairs - some litter/debris scattered around not cleared immediately. Some sections of carpet look very stained and maybe should be either deep cleaned or replaced. Location - excellent for Quayside, city centre, Gateshead.

Who gets rooms at the front ?”
Clean room,very small,have to climb over bed to reach my suff.Good shower.Agoda booking said free wi fi,immediately denied on check in,had to pay. Very good location,my room looked out on floodlights of vermont hotel. Close to lots of cafes restaurants & stinky bird Guano. If you are size 18 +,just don't.

In the heart of the quayside its a good place to be to access local bars. There's no coffee and tea facilities, fridge, mini bar or anything like that. There's no parking facilities either. However, rooms are an OK size and bed is comfy and clean. Plus apart from Saturdays it's cheap and in a great location if you are hitting the quayside

The hotel is near most points of interest but that's where the positives stop. Bedroom is not in good shape and the bathroom is not clean at all. Dark stains around the grouts and the door frames are poor.
