Eaton HK is the physical arm of Eaton Workshop, a new global purpose-driven company and creative lab at the intersection of culture, media, hospitality, wellness, and progressive social change. With distinct parts—Hotel, House, Media, Wellness, and Impact- Eaton transcends the notion of a traditional hotel to provide a physical, digital, and analog platform to artists, activists, healers, and leaders in their pursuit of making the world a better place.
Located in Jordan along the vibrant Nathan Road, a few minutes’ walk from Jordan MTR Station, Eaton HK features a newly designed lobby and guestrooms, rooftop swimming pool and yoga studio, gym and juice bar, co working club, large event spaces, screening room, art gallery, radio station, retail outpost, and a host of restaurants and bars including Michelin-starred Cantonese restaurant, all-day dining floor, open terrace cocktail bar, and signature food hall. The hotel design references the romantic appeal and spiritual yearning of Wong Kar-wai’s arthouse films of the 1990s, while the cultural and musical programming provide outlets for progressive and thought-provoking ideas about human identity, equality, and communion.
New Eaton rooms and suites are equipped with 40” Smart TVs with travel adapters, healing Himalayan salt lamps, built-in work desks and bath products from natural skincare brand Grown Alchemist amongst other sustainability-focused touches. From single bed studios to expansive family suites that can fit five, Eaton HK accommodates a wide variety of traveler across nine different room categories.
There are 2 dynamic bars as well as 3 social and dining venues at Eaton HK. Terrible Baby is an award-winning cocktail bar with a large outdoor terrace and music room that showcases underground music talents every week, Flower Years is a local craft beer and burger bar located within Eaton Foodhall amongst nine other cult street food vendors. The Astor prepares an all-day spread of international cuisine while Yat Tung Heen is a multi-year Michelin-star restaurant serving authentic Cantonese dishes.
Eaton HK offers a variety of cultural programming, including weekly wellness through yoga, sound bath meditation and tai chi classes; an eclectic mix of multi-genre live music nights at Terrible Baby, curated art exhibitions at Tomorrow Maybe, and social community events that make an impact. More than a hotel, Eaton HK is an incubator for arts and culture, a beacon for sustainability, a hub for impact initiatives, and a local connection to a global media platform.

Great Location and wonderful service”
Have stayed in other hotels in the area and I must say Eaton Smart is a really wonderful choice for any travellers to Hong Kong. For transportation to the hotel from airport, for a slight premium price using the Airport Express train from the airport, you can alight from the airport express train in Kowloon and transfer to the free shuttle service K1 to the hotel directly. It is really convenient and a good choice if you are bringing huge luggages. It may take sometime to reach the hotel (approx. 40mins) since the stop for Eaton Smart with the free K1 service is the second last stop. But the return trip to airport express station is really fast since it is a loop service (thus 2 stops away to the station from Eaton Smart on the way back) For daily transportation around HK, taking the MTR will be highly recommended, but you will need to spend about 5-10 mins walk to Jordan MTR station. The MTR station is not really "nearby" but the distance is decent enough with a leisure walk. The hotel room size is very good considering that room size is a challenge in HK. The hotel seems to be newly renovated or very well maintained. The room gives a fresh and cosy feel and provides a good night rest for travellers. One point to highlight is the wonderful service provided by the hotel, starting from the usher at the check in / check out area to facilitate the process. I am very impressed when the hotel staff took notice of my request mentioned in the Agoda booking and they surprised me with their arrangements. Very well done Eaton Smart Hong Kong. Thanks for the wonderful service.
Eaton Hong Kong never ceases to please me, being a true 4 star hotel. For the price, I daresay it is hard to find another with the same location as well as nearby attractions, like temple street a short bus ride to the harbor. Not only does it have a great location, we had an awesome free upgrade from Club room with Exclusive Club access to a 1 bedroom Suite. Having the E Club was awesome, as we could check in via the E Club instead of at the hotel lobby, which was sad to say the only thing not quite right about Eaton, as it was REALLY small and hardly having sufficient room to maneuver when there are more than a handful of people Q-ing up. Else the stay was awesome, with so many things to look forward to in the night, food, shopping, etc. The staff were very attentive and even recommended us some of Hong Kong's famous albeit affordable Michelin Starred restaurants. The room was VERY clean and comfortable, the downside was Hong Kong hardly experience cold weather and even with the AC off, the room was a Chilly 10-14 degrees Centigrade during my stay there (it was record breaking cold weather) I had my watch Thermometer checking it randomly at times. BUT This is one of my fav all times HK Hotel within the price range, and I will say it would be a very pressing task indeed to find one of comparable quality and location.
Wonderful Hotel with wonderful staffs”
Our stay at the hotel was more than pleasant. Summary: At very good location. 5 minutes from Jordan MTR station. 5 minutes from Temple Street. Many food stalls and restaurants nearby. 7-eleven right opposite of the hotel. Wonderful staffs. Comfortable bed. Clean room and toilet. Extensive TV channels for your viewing. Free WIFI. Spacious room. Extremely value for money. We landed in Hong Kong at an early hour, and got to Eaton at around 7+ AM. We were feeling extremely feeling extremely tired and moody. The staffs over the counter of the hotel, were very nice and entertaining. Knowing we took an early flight to Hong Kong, they offered to bring us up to the gym area(card required for lift access to the gym and room levels) to allow us to freshen up. Asked for some recommendations for good Dim Sum, Boris walked us all the way out and pointed out a few good restaurants. When we first checked into our room, we were so impressed with the layout and beds. bed is very important during travel, as a good sleep is very important. The equipment at the gym, is enough for basic gyming, and there's are also massaging chair at the gym, my mum went up almost every night for massage. Housekeeping ladies are very nice and friendly too! Will definitely go back to Eaton on my next visit to Hong Kong.
I usually stay at another hotel when I'm in HK. But a friend and I decided to try Eaton HK during our stay in HK. From the outset, the hotel looks nice, but not great. Compared to Nathan Hotel across the street, Eaton HK seems oddly inadequate (because its lobby is located upstairs). However, as soon as you get to the lobby, the service is excellent. The staff is friendly and helpful. I had a problem with my Agoda reservation because I was supposed to travel with my mother, but she couldn't come, so a friend came with me. And the room was booked under my mother's name. For a minute, I thought they weren't going to let us in. But Agoda's customer service is also extremely helpful in the matter and the hotel staff is very cooperative. We got our room and were given plenty of time (until check-out) to sort things out with Agoda. Of course, Agoda's customer service sort things out in less than 5 hours (before the end of day) -- and our reservation was immediately ammended. The hotel staff didn't hold it against us, either. They were pleasant and helpful about it. Then we also asked to change rooms because we wanted to stay on the lower floor, and the staff -- again -- accommodated us promptly. This was a major plus for me. The other great thing about Eaton HK is you can walk pretty much everywhere around the Kowloon area. We could walk to Mongkok (Ladies' Market) and we could walk to Tsim Sha Tsui where all the museums are, as well as the major shopping center, Harbour City. Great view all around. Very close to McDonald's for those who crave for it. And lots of restaurants around. Oh, and the Wi-Fi signal is very very strong (and complimentary for the first 3 days). Will come back!
A fantastic hotel.”
What a great hotel! Eaton Hotel is in a prime location for whatever you may plan to do in Hong Kong. We chose a Club room and loved it. These rooms are large by HK standards, and there was plenty of room to move. The decor is reasonably fresh, the bed was large and comfortable and the bathroom was well appointed. The staff are very professional, but maintain a welcoming and friendly rapport with the guests. A real stand out extra with the Eaton is the E-Club lounge, which is complimentary when staying in a Club room or suite. A secluded and quiet lounge area, where tea, coffee and soft drinks are available throughout the day. Complimentary afternoon tea and snacks are available from 3-5pm, and free beer, wine and spirits are available from 6-8 pm. The perfect way to escape the hustle and bustle of HK after a day of sightseeing or shopping. Eaton hotel would be hard to dissapoint. We absolutely loved our 8 day stay at Eaton.
Great location and nice rooms”
My two young sons and I really enjoyed our stay at the Eaton Smart Hong Kong. The location was perfect: very close to the Jordan MTR station, and walking distance to restaurants, grocery stores, and shopping. It's also conveniently located for getting to Central, TST, and other tourist hot spots. Getting to and from the airport was a breeze with the Airport Express and free Airport Express shuttle from the station to the hotel. The room was small but was perfectly adequate for our needs and was super clean. The bed was very comfortable and the linens and pillows were high quality. Nice view of Nathan Road from the large windows, but despite being by a busy road the room was quiet. I appreciated the iPod docking station and the adjustable reading lights. We were in HK for Typhoon Vicente, so we didn't get to enjoy the pool, but we had a peek and the gym and pool facilities were very nice. We did use the showers and changing rooms before our evening flight (which was a great perk!), and they were nice and clean. Because of the storm we were stuck in the hotel for about 24 hours, and I was very thankful for the free WIFI and the children's channels on television to help keep the kids entertained. On a side note, the hotel held up perfectly well through the typhoon. :) The windows leaked a little bit (to be expected with torrential rain and over 100 kph winds), but housekeeping came right up when we called at 1 am and asked for towels to mop it up. By the next afternoon, everything had been cleaned and dried. We were very pleased with the Eaton Smart and will certainly stay there again when we visit HK.
Definitely smart hotel”
I was planned to stay at Eaton Smart Hong Kong after my business trip from Seoul. I was expecting a short transit visit. When I arrived problems occur where overbooked happens to the hotel system. At first I was really disappointed but the Assistant Manager (Ricky) showed up and said to me that I will be transferred to their sister hotel and definitely a 5 star hotel located in Mong Kok. We had to wait about 15 minutes and for that Eaton provided us with welcome drinks. After that Ricky hailed a taxi for me and taxi fare was paid by the management. When we arrived at the sister hotel we very happy because it is a really 5 star hotel. The next day, we returned to Eaton to spend the last night. When I arrived, Ricky again welcomed me with a very smart resolution, he upgraded our room from deluxe to suite room (1 bedroom and 1 living room), we also had a bottle of wine and fruit platter, then we also had a breakfast at the E Club (actually breakfast was not included in the rate), and Ricky also arrange a late check-out for us. The room is smartly furnished and the hotel ambience was excellent. Eaton has a outdoor sitting area across the reception and I think it was a nice place, so many people hang out there. Overall Eaton Smart Hotel is definitely a smart hotel, and I give my highest salute to Ricky and his team.
eaton smart was truly one of the highlights in our 4d3n hong kong stay. travelled with a girl friend and we fell in love with the place. 5 min walk to jordan station, once you figure out the short-cut. the room was new and well furnished albeit a little small. there was free wifi, although only 1 mobile device could access it at a time. the 24 hour gym was definitely a firm favourite and we found ourselves using it daily around midnight, after a day of pigging out on lovely dim-sum and dessert shops sprouting all over hong kong. the rooftop pool was gorgeous as well, and almost had a spanish villa feel to it, with deckchairs lovely for lounging around in or reading a book. great for early morning swims, but gets a tad squeezy once there are more then 2 persons in the pool. all in all we totally enjoyed our stay in eaton smart, and am definitely going back there the next time!
A Relatively New, Good, Clean & Comfortable Hotel”
Enjoyed every moment staying at Eaton Hong Kong (Deluxe Room). Appreciate that they provide FREE high speed Wifi, unlike most hotels. Eaton HK is also equipped with a pool and a gym. It is very convenient as there are few local restaurants, a 7-11, and a money changer located right outside the hotel (15 steps away!). Starbucks and McDonald's are just around the corner. Complimentary Airport Shuttle Bus is available that takes you from Kowloon MTR Station to Eaton Hotel (Bus No. K1). Kindly note that if you are coming from the airport..you will need to take the MTR from the airport (~HKD90/person) to Kowloon MTR Station to catch this free shuttle. The shuttle can also take you back to Kowloon MTR Station for free as well. A 30-40min taxi ride to the airport costed us HKD225 (not sure if it was overpriced). Eaton Hotel is 10mins walk away to Temple Street Night Market and 15-20mins walk to Ladies Market. The nearest MTR Station would be Jordan MTR STation, which is just 5mins walk away. With the MTR, you can basically travel to anywhere you want (For example: Airport, Disneyland, Ladies Market, Harbour City and etc). Breakfast, Lunch, Tea and Dinner are available, but did not consume any, so cant comment on that. Both the hotel and room were very new, clean and comfortable. Overall, a highly recommended hotel.
Great stay in a great location”
We stayed in a studio room for 3 nights on our way home from a trip to Europe - we should have chosen a larger room as the studio was too tight with all our luggage. Be that as it may, our room was clean, the bed was comfortable and everything worked. We ate at the Metro restaurant downstairs all three nights and had lovely meals each time. They also had a buffet but we chose to eat a la carte. The rooftop pool is not large but was certainly refreshing and is just the thing to revive the body after shopping in the heat and humidity. Location wise, the Eaton is close to the Temple St market and Jordan station. The MTR (train) is definitely the way to get around Hong Kong. The staff at the Eaton were very helpful at all times. Next time we will choose a larger room.
Excellent Service and Accessible Location ”
Upon reaching, the hotel staff immediately came over to help us with our luggages. The check-in is fast and swift. Once we got the keys to our rooms, the staff helps to bring our luggages to our room. Whenever we are back to hotel, the staff will help to hold the lifts. During the period of stay, Hong Kong is undergo protests against extradition law and Eaton HK hotel make their stand to allow employees to go for the protests and apologize to customers if any service is lacking. We stayed in Family Room which is clean and comfortable. Our young children enjoy their stay in the bunk bed. Overall, excellent hotel with well trained staff and good values.
Comfortably large for a Hong Kong hotel”
First stay at Eaton. The room was comfortably big for Hong Kong hotel standards (which isn't much compared to normal hotels) which was surprising as I have paid about the same price or a little more for other hotels that made me feel claustrophobic. I believe they have just recently renovated, which would account for the new modern designs. The hotel seems to be environmentally friendly, by providing water in glass bottles rather than disposable bottles and only essential toiletries (eg. shower cap, shampoo, conditioner, shower gel) the rest can be requested via housekeeping though. The location is great, as it is centrally located and a few stops away to many shopping spots. The hotel has a few free walking guides to the nearby markets available if I'm not wrong? (Walked passed the posters but didn't pay much attention as I am not new to Hong Kong) Free wifi is a plus. :) The one negative thing about the hotel would be the location of its lobby, its located on the 2nd floor, although the lift does lead one to the ground level the exit faces the back of the hotel not the main road. Oh and if you find it inconvenient to walk to the MTR station, get down endless steps to travel 1 stop to Tsim Sha Tsui, you can take a bus from the front of Nathan hotel which is just next to Eaton hotel. It'll only be about 3 stops on buses 2,6 and 9. (If I remember correctly)
Best hotel I've stayed in HKG so far”
My 4 nights at Eaton Hotel was by far the best experience I have had after visiting Hong Kong for the 6th time. The location is really good for the price I've paid. The services rendered from the concierge staff, reception (check in staff) to the room cleaning staff, consistently exceeded my expectation. For reviews on the small room, those guests really have to understand Hong Kong's space constraints to appreciate Eaton's superior room's 17sqm. They even managed to squeeze in a bathtub! Amazing. The television comes with cable tv with many channels. The best thing I like about the hotel is the amazing gym which is opened 24/7. Some gyms are only opened from 7am to 8pm and I don't get the chance to work out after sightseeing etc. The gym staff is very helpful and the treadmills and crosstrainers come with a tv each and the hotel provides earphones! I also like the smartphone provided by the hotel. Though I would have appreciated if that was communicated in the room features in Agoda's website. We wasted HKD80 as we purchased a local SIM card at the airport prior to checking into the hotel! All in all, I love the hotel very much and will not hesitate to stay at the hotel again when I visit Hong Kong for the 7th time!
Good location, very friendly staff”
Arrived in Hong Kong off a long flight from Auckland. Flight arrived at 6.30am, arranged transport to hotel through the very helpful staff at the airport. Transfer was about 45 minutes. Arrived at the hotel at around 8am, the stated check in was something like 1pm, but the very very kind man behind the desk managed to find us a room and checked us in there and then. What a god send this was, as we we're both in need of refreshing after the flight from Auckland. The location on Nathan Road was great, literally minutes away from the hussle and bussle of the shops and markets. There is an underground station (Jordan Street) very close to the hotel, you can use this to go everywhere, really cheaply. Room overlooked the city, although you wouldn't expect anything else, this is Hong Kong. Room was clean but on the tired side. Bed was very comfy though. We hadn't booked any food as part of our stay, but they gave us a few discount cards for the hotel restaurant. Over our stay we had the breakfast, lunch and dinner buffets. And my only complaint was that the food was too nice, so we ate far too much. The staff in the bar were just as friendly as the check in staff. Excellent gym and swimming facilities. I haven't given five stars for hotel condition and room standard. Although the room was a great size for Hong Kong, the bathroom in particular would benefit from some updating. Although we wouldn't hesitate from staying here again.
Great Hotel and value for money”
eaton hotel is a great hotel and it's located in the city disctrict of hong kong, just 3 monutes walk from jordan mtr station exit b, the hotel is filled with good amenities, clean and comfortable. the swimming pool and its surronding is also great for sun tanning as well as cooling yourself out in the pool in a hot day. since it is near to jordan mtr station, it is also near to tsimshatsui where there are many eateries and shoppnig malls. this is definitely a great and value for money hotel to stay in. the deluxe room is not too small and it even has a ipod player.
Eaton, Hong Kong”
From our first moments of arrival the staff at Eaton were most cordial. The room was smaller than expected but did nothing to detract from our stay. We found that we had every convenience required. The pool and gym area are worth a visit and both seemed rarely utilised. As we always have a preference for eating local, the night market is very conveniently situated just a street, parallel away, from Nathan Road. Jordan Station (MTR) is just 5 minutes from the Eaton Hotal entrance and a weekly MTR ticket is recommended as an excellent way to visit the many sites of Hong Kong.
Nice hotel, good location, great service”
we travel to hk for business quite often. we like staying at eaton because of the location. their standard room is a little bit smaller than nathan across the street but their hotel is more modern and updated. because we are frequent traveler, we got room upgrade without asking. check in process was efficient. however, during our last visit, the lobby was full of people because of chinese new year. kids were running around. we love this hotel. last year when we first stayed here, we asked if we could leave a luggage there for a few days because we were going into zhongshan for 2 days and we were told that hotel would charge. but this time, we were told by the manager that they had lifted the requirement. we like that because we often used hong kong as a stop over for our business point, going to south china and up to beijing.
Beautiful Hotel with Excellent Customer Service”
whenever we are in hk, we will book eaton. because of the comfy bed and spacious room. the price we paid is reasonable and location is not too far from the jordan mtr. they have a heated pool which we hardly see in the hotels we go in sea. too bad we forgot to bring our swimming costumes else we would have enjoyed ourselves! last week when we checked in, we were welcomed by very good customer service from the staff. this made our stay even more pleasant. we will definitely come back to eaton the next time we travel to hk!
Excellent hotel, location is perfect!”
Think about what's important to you in a hotel. Eaton Hotel has it. The staff are top notch, even referring us to a doctor when we needed emergency care. The location is perfect, directly on Nathan street. When using a taxi, however, refer to the hotel as "Eaton Hotel" and drop the "Smart", then they'll know exactly where you mean. The hotel is even on those little touristy maps places hand out for free! It's just a block away from the temple street night market, and an easy walk from everything else -- maybe 30 minutes casually walking towards the star ferries or (in the other direction) the Ladies market. Breakfast is served in a very nice restaurant. They will serve something which pleases your palate no matter which corner of the globe you hail from. It's fresh, and there's lots of it. The rooms are large for Hong Kong standards, and more than fair based on North American standards. They're clean, modern, and stocked with all the usual amenities. The pool is on the top floor, and it was nice to take a cool dip after a long day in the heat! Honestly, in my opinion, I think you should stay here.
Top of the line hotel”
We enjoyed our stay at the Eaton Hong Kong..Room and bath very clean..walking distance to Jordan MRT about 5 min..many shops and dept stores this area...15 min walk to Temple st market...Food at hotel was excellent..Staff great and very helpful...Best choice I made this trip to Hong Kong...Thanks to Agoda and the Eaton my wife was a happy camper which make life better all around....
