Small rooms, but can't beat price and location!”
Located right next to Nagoya station. Exit through Taikodori side. Look for the 711 and Denny's across the street. Eco Hotel Nagoya is just to the left of 711. Proceed to 2nd floor for the reception. We got the twin room which consists of a bunk bed in a very tiny room. Not enough space to adequately spread out your luggage. TV and fridge are provided in the room, but I'm sure you're not booking this to hang out in your room. Shower stalls at B1, but you can only use the showers from 5pm to 9am. Wash area and communal toilet provided on each floor. Rooms and bath are very clean. No complaints. If you're on a budget and arriving in Nagoya quite late, it's a very good choice. Value for money place to crash.
Don't have any complains to think of about this hotel”
Though it's really far from the dream hotel room you are expecting for but boy I love this place... super convenient, you will never get hungry since restaurants and other convenient stores like 7eleven and ministop are just near the place. Near Nagoya Station which is super accessible when getting around Nagoya. Free toothbrush and you can always ask for a clean towel but you have to get it on your own at the reception area. Shower is at the basement but it's okay for me though because there is an elevator. and if you wanna use the toilet, there is one of each floors. They don't speak english well but you guys can still understand each other. Oh and the reception area is at the second floor so it's a bit difficult if you carry a large size of luggage. the room space is small but once you get settled in to your room, you are all good... Excellent location, it's not hard to find. I will definitely book and stay at this hotel again when I visit Nagoya again. :)
Great Location, Small Rooms”
I came to Nagoya for conference. What I need with the hotel is just a place to sleep in the night and take a shower in the next morning and leave. Eco Hotel is very rational choice, due to its lowest price. Even the shower located outside the bed room, but it is still okay. There is a convenient store just about 1 minutes around, there is Japanese style restaurant in the first floor (the hotel room it self located in the second floor).
Great place to stay in Nagoya”
Eco Hotel Nagoya is located very near JR station. It is also easily to access by Meitetsu train from Chubu international airport. Room was very good and very clean. Shower room was awesome! Free wifi available. They also provided umbrella during rainy day. Staff was very nice and helpful. I would come back again for my next trip to Nagoya and I would recommend for everyone!
The room is quite OK and good location”
eco hotel is located on the pretty good location near nagoya station (only 3 minutes). beside of eco hotel and facing with hotel left hand side has a very good restaurant with reasonable price & delicious meal, it is worth trying
Reasonably-Priced Accomodation in the Heart of Nagoya City”
Located about 15 minutes from Nagoya Station, this is a cheap alternative for travellers who want nothing more than a clean, basic room to stay in while enjoying the sights of Nagoya. A few steps outside the hostel is an underground commercial center with plenty of restaurants and shopping options. Take note the hostel does not accept luggage storage AFTER check-out so factor the luggage storage cost (plenty of coin-operated lockers at Nagoya Station) in your budget.
Good choice for backpack travellers”
The hotel is close to Nagoya station, with an underground-shopping-street (which is connected to train stations) entrance next to its door. Very convenience location, with various types of restaurant nearby. The hotel is small, but its room is neat and tidy. Bath rooms, toilets, and sinks are shared. No luxury stuffs, but all basic facilities of which backpack travelers needed are provided. Not for luxury travelers, but EXCELLENT for backpack and budget travelers.
Eco hotel Nagoya is in a perfect location right next to the train station! You can't ask for a better location, which is unexpected given the good price. I stayed in the twin room, which was very small and narrow. There was a tv, which was kind of nice, but there is hardly any room for two people to unpack/ walk past each other at the same time. If you arrive in the morning, beware that there was no one there when we arrived, fresh off an overnight bus at 8 in the morning or so. Sowers were great though. A good deal for a short stay.
Nice Hotel, great location”
The hotel owner was nice and friendly, he let us early check in (1pm) and the room was already prepared for us. So far it was the best location out of all the hotels that we stayed in Japan, just opposite Nagoya Station. Bed was OK and comfortable. For Japanese standard, the room was pretty spacious, we booked for a twin private room and definitely was more than enough space for our luggage. I would definitely come back and recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to visit Nagoya.
Convenient and real value”
Had the single room for two nights. It was roomy for its price and shower facilities at the basement is excellent. The whole hotel is operated by 1 man and is manned from 5pm to 11pm. He speaks good english and is easy to transact with. Room comes with towel, toiletries, slippers, small ref and local TV. Not bad for its price considering it is just a stone's throw away from JR nagoya. Kids are free to stay if sharing with the bed, though I would limit it to 1 per room. Other hostels charge half for kids. I would recommend getting the single rooms as opposed to the cheaper double.
Great Location, just opposite Nagoya Station”
We stayed in this hotel for one night and decided to extend for another night. I love the convenience that this hotel offers. It's located just opposite the entrance of Nagoya Station. Too bad you need to go one level up to get into the lift (lift is only available on level 2 and above where the reception is located) but we didn't carry a lot of luggage so it was alright for us. Not too far (about 10-15 minutes straight walk) you can find a very big supermarket.
satisfy for one night stay”
the hotel very near the nagoya station, just 5min by walk you can arrived, the room was small but it's clean, TV,AC and refrigerator are available. in the room not have shower and toilet, the shower at B1 floor, you need to take the elevator to there. this hotel it's satisfy for one night stay. the staff is kind and warm, but just can speak japanese.
Nice Budget hotel . . . very close to city center”
This hotel stay veryvery close to Nagoya station, where you can go anywhere by bus, train, subway or shinkansen. The room is quite small, but it is the appropriate size for budget hotel . Plenty shower rooms in the basement floor and provide the basic stuff such as hair-dryer. The only cons is no elevator from the 1st floor(which is the restaurant and Takoyaki stall) you have to carry your luggage upstair to use the elevatos in the second floor. If you're looking for clean and cheap hotel, near the city transportation hub... I recommend Exo Hotel Nagoya !!
just next to Nagoya Station”
very convenient. When you arrive Nagoya Station from airport, look for "Shinkasen" direction, then follow "To Anonami Line", go straight to the end until you reach "Tako Dori" exit, then turn left about 20 steps and you will find "Y2100" signboard at the top of a 6-floor building ---that is the hotel. Just cross the road, and then go up to 2nd floor for checking-in. Sat is usually full (in fact for weekdays too), so better book in advance.
Good budget hotel”
Eco Hotel Nagoya was a good budget hotel. Comfortable and Easy access to other places and train station. Shared bathroom, but no complaint.
Good location ”
overall a good hotel. was near nagoya station. the shower facilities are public same with the restrooms. the rooms were pretty clean though. very nice staff they were very helpful. there are many restaurants nearby the hotel which is a plus. enjoyed the stay was there for a concert.
Best price ever”
I stayed one night only but recomend this hotel for people especially visit Nagoya from overseas. Single room with TV, wifi and shower room with this best price is unbelievable. Very simple check-in and out, no need Japanese skills. Very close to Nagoya station, many people on the street till midnight, it's safe place to stay for girls.
Great place for a stay”
Okay, so the place is spartan. You go in, talk to the person at the counter, they tell you a room number and hand you a key. You might hit your head on the door if you're as tall as me, but the fact is it's really cheap and gives you a private room for the cost of an expensive dorm. Bathrooms were clean, beds were comfy. If you're looking for the room to be a place to crash while you base yourself out of Nagoya, this is literally five minutes to the train station. It's perfect for what it is, and I wish I'd stayed longer.
Very near JR Nagoya station, stayed here for 1 night. Lobby is at 2nd floor and elevator works from there so you need to bring luggage up the stairs. Shower rooms are at the basement, it's very pretty and clean. Towel, slippers and toothbrush were provided which is a plus. Great for travelers in transit, definitely worth the money.
Excellent option for the budget conscious traveler”
Everything about this stay was excellent. From the seamless check in procedure, to having a key and able to come and go any time. Clean facilities and private room with a good internet connection. Couldn't ask for anything more. The location is directly across from the JR Nagoya station and there are plenty of restaruants and shopping within blocks of the area. 7-11 a couple of doors down for conveniences including a bank machine. The staff are very friendly and helpful as well.
