Perfect location if willing to compromise ”
I had a totally fine time here. The room was not cleaned perfectly upon arrival but when I asked them to attend to a few problem spots in the room they happily took take of it. The location right next to the beach is awesome but the few beach loungers they do have are very worn down and dirty. The pool is not usable but not a big issue with the ocean being so accessible. The staff was very friendly and the woman who seemed to run the place really kindly gave me a ride to a nearby restaurant. As others have mentioned, the road leading to the place is not lit for a long stretch so it can be a little scary to walk at night but if you bring a light with you then it’s not too bad. Despite the drawbacks of this place, I would still recommend it if you’re willing to be okay with the lax management and nature of an un-sealed room, because being on the beach is so lovely. Note there is trash on the beach but I think that’s more due to the weather and time of year more than anything the resort can control
Eco name needs a change”
To be honest - we went there end of April 24 during the hottest days in Thailand. And it was a bit tough to find comfortable climatized rooms. But building a bamboo resort without much insulation, putting an aircon unit inside for comfort and you will miss your goal of being comfortable - and eco. Maybe Economy was meant because it is still difficult to sleep by three in that bamboo house. They look lovely if freshly painted - at least some - but time went by since it was built. Pool: and nobody swims in an algae plagued plastic pool. When the pool was new it must have been better, but the amount of energy for pumps cleaning this big thing is enormous - another reason to skip that Eco label. Plus kitchen was closed during our stay. Hopefully the owner will do some renovation on some places and pool and it will regain it's charme soon. Our fault: we booked via net the cheapest room price and ended up with the cheapest room during the hottest time without kitchen. Even then we had great swims in the sea, collected sea shells, went for nice dinners in other resorts and enjoyed 4 days on the beach in an old resort🙏

Great spot on long beach, staff were incredibly welcoming and lovely and the bungalow was spacious and cool. Had everything you needed, little foot washing station at the bottom of the stairs, showers on the beach, they obviously think about their guests needs and go that extra mile to ensure you have a great stay. In 6 weeks round Thailand, this is still a stand out for us! ❤️

Really enjoyed my stay here. Loved staying in one of the Bamboo bungalows, although rustic and not brand new, it was perfect, I felt closer to nature. I was also very lucky as I got one nearest the beach. I loved relaxing on the hammock, or on the seating area. At night used the mosquito net, so I didn't get bitten, and was comfortable with the air conditioning. The staff were friendly and helpful also. The food was good in the restaurant also.

You will get a comfortable bed in a roomy rustic bungalow. It’s a little dark and you might find a few bugs in the bathroom. We were steps away from a beautiful beach with great sunsets. The staff is friendly, helpful and attentive. There are great meal and entertainment options nearby.
