The perfect escape to the country”
Lovely laid back resort in beautiful natural surroundings. The rooms are simple but comfortable, private and a good size. James and his team gave us a very warm welcome and were very helpful in arranging a child friendly tour to visit a nearby maze and cave. The kids loved roaming around the garden and had a great time with Jack, the resident dog. We enjoyed being able to sit outside our room with views over the pool and gardens with the mountain scenery in the background. The on-site restaurant provided delicious Thai food and drinks at reasonable prices. Only 2 hours from Bangkok, Eco Valley Lodge feels a world away. Highly recommended for a great value, friendly, relaxing escape, we’ll be back.

Fantastic staff”
The staff were very attentive and helpful. I was able to get vegetarian food that was not on the menu. We also got good advice about places to visit. It's a good place to chill out. Great value.

Loved our stay here”
Eco Valley Lodge is a lovely place to stay. A bit off the main road, but still in close proximity to quite a number of the places of interest in Khao Yai. Staff is very friendly and food was delicious. The only unfortunate for us was that the entrance to Khao Yai Natural Park close to the resort was not open during our stay, but this should be a temporary issue.

Idyllic and Peaceful”
Very peaceful and serene location. Simple accommodation but well maintained and great service staff. A little off the track and difficult to find on the map.

Excellent”
The manager was great, as our arrival was really late like 1am, he and his staff was there to wait for us and be sure the rooms assigned to us was totally fine, we requested to change a room as the room was quite far away from us. He changed for us immediately. Just sad that we did not have a chance to have our dinner there. Cosy place, great for families bonding at the cafe.

Thank you for the supportive review, Monica. It was a pleasure to meet you. And to think you didn't even sample our best wines! Hee hee. Thanks again. Best wishes for safe travels back home. Would love to see you again.
Relaxing stay”
The lodge has nice and cosy huts. The restaurant serves good food (breakfast and diner). The location is a bit isolated, you'll need transport to reach the NP and the city of Pak Chong. The lodge offers tours and you can rent a bike. Make sure you ask for James's surprise tour!

Thank you for the endorsement, Arnaud. We are glad you enjoyed your stay with us. It was great to meet you and spend some time together.
Very good”
Environment is great, staff is friendly but line coverage is very poor except dining area. The unit floor is a bit dusty and the light is very limited in the unit, it can be improved by adding some table lamp or light in the unit. The way to our unit is full of greenery path, but not easy for roller luggage to move. We have to carry the luggage instead of pulling. Breakfast is nice. Overall is acceptable.

A wonderful find!”
Our first ever visit to Khao Yai began at Eco Valley Lodge. An oasis of quiet and a warm welcome. Our bungalow was perfect for us overlooking the garden rather than the pool area. Rooms were extremely clean, bright and fresh. Pillows and sheets were as new and the bathroom was simple but adequate. We enjoyed every meal, especially breakfast cooked by a smiling enthusiastic staff. Morten, the owner, arranged a guide and driver for our trek into Khao Yai and we weren't disappointed - they were great and found us wild elephants and many other types of wildlife. We would highly recommend Eco Valley Lodge, a small resort with high standards.

We liked the tranquil atmosphere and service. ”
it was our first trip to khao yai and we are happy we stayed at eco valley lodge. we waited only 15 at bus station for the hotel staff to pick us up. the owner gave us some useful infos about pak chong and surroundings. room service was great - they provided extra bed for my son and enough blankets for everyone. nights were freezing! bed linen is of excellent quality. we are very thankful to owner for arranging a private transportation for our company in khao yai one day long trip exceeded our expectations! kids enjoyed playing on the lawn, we enjoyed draft beer! beautiful and relaxing place to stay.

Great location and friendly staff”
this was the third visit to the eco valley as we find its location ideal in the foothills of the khao yai national pack. the lodges are ideal and comfortable. you can hire mountain bikes and discover the area yourself. the floating is about 10 kilometres away from the resort. the resort restaurant is highly recommended and the price is reasonable. the resort owner morten (who is danish) is approachable and good company and so as his friendly staff.

Nice setting, accommodations, features and service”
we stayed here 2 nights while visiting khao yai nat'l park. the mini-villas are arranged so you're assured of privacy. the pool(s) are delightful. the remote setting assures quiet. the staff (who live on the grounds) are over-the-top nice. the complimentary "make to your request" breakfast is great. the resort's restaurant had a good selection and our dinners were great. the thing about khao yai nat'l park is that most of the park tours (who will pick you up at the resort) all last till late in the day (usually ending around 7:00pm). after a full day at the park for your tour you don't want to come, back get cleaned up and go searching for a restaurant. after our tour we'd just hit the pool, make a quick change and then go to the resort's onsite restaurant. the food is great and if you don't like what's on the menu they'd probably make you whatever you wanted....like i said nice. this is a definite 5-star lodging location for 3-star rates.

Beautiful Resort in Lovely quiet location”
We all enjoyed our stay at this lovely, friendly resort in a beautiful location in Khao Yai National Park. Our Bungalow was nice, clean and overlooked the pretty, well maintained garden and pool. The room was a little small, and it would be nice to have a fridge for cold drinks, but the beds were very comfortable and the view outside was lovely. The Restaraunt served delicious Western and Thai food at reasonable prices and their is a good selection of beverages on the menu. Breakfast was very good and there was a good selection of Western style food, and some Thai dishes as well. Excellent fresh tea, coffee, juices and milk as well. The staff were friendly and helpful and the customer Hostess, Meaw speaks good English and is very attentive and helpful. Our daughter enjoyed her company tremendously! We enjoyed our stay very much and plan a return trip soon with some friends.

Friendly place, recommended”
We spent four days at the Lodge and didn't want to leave. The rooms are basic but the bed was comfortable and the shower was hot. I'm a light sleeper and if I go back I'll get a room a bit further away from the restaurant area, but it's swings and roundabouts: we were more than happy to spend time in the lovely, open air but cool restaurant area, looking onto the nice gardens and pool. The food was excellent, both my steaks and my wife's Thai meals. Prices are very reasonable. Breakfast was more than adequate. We arranged all our tours through the hotel and the manager proved very flexible. In fact, he and his lovely staff are among the good reasons for going here: he puts himself out for guests, helping one group organise their rail journey to Ayutthaya and getting my wife's walking shoes superglued, saving our national park excursion! We live in Bangkok and we have some experience by now of Thai standards: the Eco Valley Lodge is excellent value for money and we would recommend it to friends.

Nice!”
The weather in Khao Yai was perfect. It was sunny but breezy. The hotel is about 4km from the main road, so it would be advisable to have your own private vehicle. The hotel was well-maintained, the garden and pool was in good condition. The room was simple and clean, although bathroom is often wet after showering because there is no partition or doors to prevent water from splashing out. Breakfast was good and food was fresh. My wife and I enjoyed our stay in Eco Valley Lodge.

Great value! Fantastic resort for cyclists!”
I stayed two nights in early October 2012 with a gang of people on a mission to cycle around the Khao Yai National Park area. The hotel is a few kms off the main road leading to the park (located not so far from the Smokehouse) so guests will need their own transportation (Car). It's in a great area for cycling and they have what looked like probably a dozen Trek mountain bikes available for guests (for a fee?). I had a very good breakfast there... they even had brown bread which is rare in this class of hotel in Thailand. They also have an extensive menu which includes Australian beef... I had a tenderloin...not too shabby! The rooms were basic but clean and functional. The small TV and lack of cable may be an issue for some people who plan to sleep all day - not me. There was no fridge in the room, so I left some food items (beer) with the Staff who were happy to keep my stuff cool in their kitchen fridge. Their menu has some good import beers (Paulaner) at reasonable prices too. You can sense the Danish touch as I believe the owner is Danish... All in all I had a very pleasant stay and I will definitely go back. The price was right too.
