Never Again ”
Cons: Room was run down. It smelled like a gallon of bleach to the point of being sickening. Walls and door were dirty. The toilet and shower were probably as clean as they could be but still look dirty. Pros: The beds were clean and comfortable, that and the staff were really nice and helpful. The proximity to the airport was good. Bottom Line: I would pay more to stay somewhere decent.

The place has ample parking. The rooms are large. Their is not much of a facility and the internet signal is poor in many locations. The furniture is old and broken.

Room was not even acceptable ”
After checking in get to to room and when go in i see that the carpet wasnt vacuum and doesnt look like it was skipped just once which i found broken glass on floor. .The bathroom had water on floor and hair on toliettoliet seat. On top all that multiple bugs/roaches crawling onnfloor wall and in mini fridge. Couldn't even get any sleep because that and went bought raid for the one night there.

I booked a two night stay at Econolodge Tampa Airport on the 19th & 20th of February 2022. I was arriving in the U.S.A from the U.K on vacation, and had booked a Hotel close to the airport in order to rest and recuperate from my flight prior to my onward travel across Florida after picking up my by hire car. Having checked in on Saturday the 19th I went straight to my room, which I found reeking of cigarette smoke. However, being extremely tired from my day of travel and a long flight, I retired straight to bed. When I awoke in the early morning of Sunday the 20th, I was horrified as my eyes adjusted to the light only to see that the bedside table was crawling with roaches. I of course reported the infestation to reception. The receptionist accompanied me to have a look and confirmed that what she had witnessed was an infestation of fully grown cockroaches. Despite having pre-booked and paid for the room in advance, I obviously just needed to leave and find alternative accommodation. Having managed to book a room at a neighbouring Hotel, I was able to check out and move my belongings with me. Very disappointed with this booking

Not great experience ”
-dirty location -first room was dirty and smelt like mold -they moved me to another room but security came at TWO am and knocked on door cause THEY forgot to change room number in system -then next day we went out and came back and all of our stuff was gone from the room, cause again they forgot that we are checked in still in that room -very basic breakfast, but staff was nice -I wouldn’t recommend staying there with family at all

Very very dirty and unsafe hotel. Police arrested people at hotel when i was there. ”
Stayed at tampa econo lodge. Dirty rooms. Dirty area surrounding hotel. Lights didnt work in room. No maids. Had to ask for towels. Not enough breakfast for guests. There were people living in the hotel. I witnessed people getting arrested at the hotel right by my room. Key cards for room didnt work i had to keep going to lobby to get them fixed. I felt very unsafe sleeping at hotel. No pool unlike advertisements. Vending machines were broken. Rude workers who couldnt be bothered to help you in the lobby. I am surprised the place doesnt get shut down its that dirty. No parking for enough guests. Someone attempted to break into my car at 2am and i had to go outside to shut my alarm off on my car. Air conditioning unit in room was half way hanging off the wall..very unsafe. I will never ever stay at any econo lodge ever. Someone killed a swan from the pond right outside of our hotel and it was just laying in the parking lot for days until someone moved it...how cruel.

Very good 2 years we have stayed there for game. Only stayed in one room. Son an wife did not come due to family emergency. Do not charge me but for one room for 2 nights. Front desk personnel said to call them if you need. Charge 2 nights one room. Pls refund difference to my credit card and let me know

Cheap in every sense of the word”
Phone didn’t work, fridge didn’t work, cockroach in room, and the free airport shuttle stops running at 2 pm, which wasn’t mentioned on the website and left us stranded at the airport and paying $40 for a taxi.

Good for over nite short Stay. ”
Be prepared. They popped a $200 security deposit for my $47 room. Plus there is no check list of inventory nor can you do a walk thru at check out. It boils down to their opinion of what they feel like charging. That’s a roll of the dice. So far so good for me. Though I have yet seen my final bill.

After I booked, I needed to get shuttle service from the airport to the hotel. The hotel indicated that they provided this service. However, when I called , I was advised the shuttle was out f service for repairs. So I spent more money for transportation than I planned. When I arrived at the hotel, I had difficulty in getting signed in, even though everything was already paid for in advance. At this point, all I wanted was a nice shower and some sleep. When I arrived in my room, the room was totally different than shown on the computer. Very Very dirty. I couldn't even take a shower because of the extreme mold and dirty towels. This booking was a huge mistake!!! Again, all I wanted was sleep and a nice shower.

Wouldn't recommend it”
My room smelled of smoke, the carpet was dirty and the worst part was the tiny little ants crawling all over the room. They were on the tables, on the sink, and in the tub. The housekeeping staff didn't have extra towels available, nor did they have bug spray. We went swimming and there were no towels for the guests. I went to the "gym" and there were 2 bike machines, 2 stair machines and a treadmill. Only two machines worked and again...there were no towels!!!The phone in the room worked randomly. Customer service at the front desk was terrible. The only good thing I can say about this hotel was the location was perfect. I would not recommend it at all.

Happy I just stayed a day. Odd smell in the room. Well to be honest, it was very cheap so I'd say it's okay. But still bit cheesy! Looked for 'comfort inn' but they changed it to 'ecnolodge Inn'.

False Advertisement”
The room was very clean and was okay for just a day stay I believe and did what it was supposed to. It is outdated and not with modern time but was comfortable enough for the few days that I stayed.
