The Econo Lodge was very clean and the staff was courtesy. The only complaint we have is when we went to the lobby for coffee and muffins there was no sugar for our coffee. We could understand running out but when the staff said they knew they were out the day before didn't get anymore to cover till your shipment came it was a little disappointing. I understand it hard to know how much to have on hand but someone could have run to a store and picked up some. I know you might not think this is any thing big but I am sure we are not the only ones that like sugar with our tea or coffee.

Not a good experience”

As I was about to get into bed, I walked into a piece of metal - 1" - 2" piece of angle steel that was sticking out from under the mattress. The steel punctured my shin & left quite a bruise. When I looked closely - it was apparent that this piece of steel had been there for some time - at least long enough to wear/tear a hole in the bed skirt. In the morning when we checked out, my husband told the desk clerk about it. Her response was that she hoped I was ok & she would tell the maintenance person - who she said didn't come by often, about this again. It is apparent that the safety of guests is not a priority. We will not be back - & we will discourage any others from our group from using this location.

clean, comfortable beds, air conditioner worked quite well

This is an older motel that is showing it's age. If you are looking for a place to sleep and use the bathroom without everything having to be pristine , this is the place, it also has free WiFi. You can't beat the price.
