Dingey room, leaking ceiling, sketchy neighborhood”
We paid about $70 for our room and the room we got should have been like $50. The ceiling leaked when the people above took a shower or washed their hands. Shower was very dirty. Location was not good.
Dirty and dismal breakfast assortment”
We stayed here because we liked the idea of parking just outside our room since we had many luggages. But we didn't expect the room to be that old looking and breakfast selection to be dismal. The comforter and carpet felt like it hasn't been cleaned in awhile. If you're on a tight budget, this place is ok but if you can spare extra more, I would recommend you to stay somewhere else.

CSI, Law & Order, Dexter, etc”
I was there from 11 PM to 8 AM and only needed the room for a night's sleep, but there was something strangely charming about being in a room that resembled the token motel murder scene straight out of every TV cop procedural. There was a smear of blood on the nightstand and I almost expected to find a dead body in the bathtub... but I only found dirt and stains in the tub next to a toilet that barely flushed and a sink that wouldn't produce more than a tiny drip of water. I was mainly just happy that there were no bedbugs and I slept pretty well. Some more positives: Decent customer service, OK wifi, comfortable bed, in-room temperature control, and plenty of restaurants and stores within walking distance in what is a fairly safe neighborhood. I would actually probably stay there again since (1) it's so cheap and (2) I kind of liked the excitement of expecting gunshots or the Feds at any moment and (3) I'm not that picky. This place clearly isn't for everyone though. Stay at your own risk.
