The staff was very helpful but there were many issues with the hotel. To begin with, the refrigerator, maybe had been unplugged or something, and it was wet and disgusting inside. The staff was very helpful on this, they brought a whole new refrigerator. The light switch at the door did not work, so consequently you had to fumble around in the dark to find the light when you were just checking into the room. In the morning when we were up early and getting ready to leave, there was only one knob in the shower that worked, the cold one. The hot knob just spun and no water at all came out. The telephone in the room did not work so at 7 o’clock in the morning it was very difficult to let the office know that there was a problem. So we had to go without a shower. Once going to the office though, the staff was very helpful and apologized for the inconvenience. I do not believe that we got value for the dollar due to the inconvenience that we were caused. On the other hand, the bed and the pillows were very comfortable, the breakfast was good and again, the staff was very helpful.

The location is not near the freeway towards Pocatello. The streets in Idaho Falls are screwy and difficult to navigate quickly to return to the freeway. The location was bad in this respect and the staff of the hotel were not helpful in getting us back to our destination. We were in a hurry to catch a plane out of Salt Lake City.

We were very impressed by this hotel for the money. The lady at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. She recommended events in the area and we went to the drag races in a nearby town. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The only complaint I would have is the walls are thin but thankfully are neighbors were quiet at bedtime.. The bathroom was also clean and the towels were full size. The breakfast room was quite large and they had a variety of breakfast food.. I would definitely stay at this Quality Inn again if we were in the area again..

disappointing even at a low price”
I got this one at a fairly low price so had low expectations, but this Econo lodge was still a disappointment. The guy at check in was new and needed to call support to check me in. No working TV in my room. It was mid-winter and snowing outside but I could not run the heater in the room because it was too loud - would have kept the city of Idaho Falls up all night. There is a little microwave in the room, but it too was dead. Beds, floor and bathroom were clean. The place is run down. There is no security (or heat) outside the room. Some kids were running loudly down the corridor outside the room after 1 am. Breakfast is toast and coffee. Don't expect a piece of fruit or a waffle. I'm in favour of low end, inexpensive motels, but I would recommend a moderate upgrade in room amenities and breakfast and people will pay $15 more per night.

Sehr freundlicher Empfang, allerdings ist das Hotel trotz guten Willens seitens des Betreibers stark renovierungsbedürftig. Eigentlich muss man hier kernsanieren. Der neue Vinylboden ist mit Farbklecksen übersäht, die Farbe an der Wand ist zwar neu, aber kommt bröckelnd wieder runter. Betten sind recht ordentlich und sauber. Das Bad ist eigentlich auch auf. Wie gesagt, für eine Zwischenübernachtung ok, wenn es nur 30$ kosten würde. Aber 90$ gehen gar nicht. Wir waren dann um 7:28 Uhr beim Frühstück, welches um 7:00 Uhr startet, da gab es schon außer Kaffee und ein paar abgepackten Kuchen sowie Resten von Toast nichts mehr. Und auch hier war alles kaputt und unordentlich. Wen die Punkte oben nicht stören und evtl. nur wenig Geld für die Nacht zahlt, Seekabels hier ruhig bleiben. Allen anderen sei ein besseres Hotel and Herz gelegt. Ich weiß echt nicht, wo die ganzen guten Bewertungen im Netz herkommen.
