Helpful and friendly service”
Motel was quite adequate for our needs. Rooms were clean, plenty of hot water and serviced daily. A good place to stay and park the car up....as you can walk everywhere you need to go in Paihia or Waitangi.

A mix of good and bad”
Good:Super location at entry to Paihia. Short walk to beach. Close to Alfresco possibly one of the better Paihia Cafes. Bad: Motel unit was old but clean with renovated bathroom. No kitchen bench/sink; tiny TV. The worst of it was the incredibly loud pub/backpackers over the back fence with a band and outdoor yelling area that went till 3am on Friday night and nearly the same on Saturday night. Not a relaxing sleep-filled stay!!! Would not stay there again. I need my sleep!

You will be pleased to learning our televisions have recently been upgraded. We apologise that on the nights you stayed unfortunately a property on an adjoining street had loud music playing. This matter has been discussed with the relevant business owner by several moteliers in the locality. We hope to have the opportunity to host you again - perhaps one of our Deluxe Studio units would be more suitable if you wish to cook within your room rather than use our barbecue facilities which are adjacent to our year round heated pool. A typical beach motel Great service”
Our room was rather small, but very clean and reasonably well appointed. Self catering facilities were very basic. Motel management were extremely friendly and helpful. A heated pool, spar and BBQ area are available. Located in a side street, this motel is just a short walk away from restaurants and shops.

A fan static lace to stay and so close to it all. ”
It was a fantastic place to stay. Only 5 mins walk from the beach and 10 to the town but there are restaurant all along the road. So many choices. Staff were so helpful and even gave me a lift to Waitangi and I then walked back. The room had a min kitchen which saved me some money during my stay. I would really recommend here to friends as it was such value for money.

No value for your money ”
The motel smaller than the photos. The bed is right next to the bathroom which is very annoying. Although the tv has 50 channels but there's nothing to watch- all the good channels are not subscribed to. The location is on the most busy road and the entrance is sloped down so you must be very careful. The house keeping wasn't finished when we arrived due to the unarrived sheet. The sofa bed is very uncomfortable.

We do not have a subscription to Sky movies as we have found most guests travel with their own movies in these modern times. We have a DVD library available at reception. 10 min walk into all shops and tours and restaurants. Parking was easy on site. Room had seperate kitchenette. Staff were very friendly. If there had been a couch in the room it would have been great. No air cond

Air conditioning is nowhere near as common in New Zealand, as your home country of Australia but it is something we are considering in our longer term plans. Hidden Gem”
We had a great time. It was very comfortable and clean. The only challenge was a few Mosquitos and no screens on the window. Otherwise it was just perfect and economical.

Excellent, other than noise, after midnight from other rooms - sound proofing and "minimise noise after 11pm" signs should be placed in all rooms.

Next to nightclub”
Enjoy sleeping right next to doof doof. Personally too old and I couldn't sleep with the noise. Backpackers nightclub on door and horrible. Wouldn't stay again unless I was 20 and looking for a party!
