Thai staff AMAZING unless you are French If go elsewhere ”
Every single Thai staff member was so kind and patient and loving. This resort is catered to French people and the French staff make it very clear that if you are not French they could do without you. The older French man at the bar clearly only caters to French travelers which is a shame because this place is very beautiful and The Thai staff are so welcoming. In fact once that man found out we were from the US he shook his hand at us and never once acknowledged us again. I get it we're American blah blah blah but maybe put opinions aside and learn the meaning of hospitality. I even saw him on occasion belittling the Thai staff in front of other guests. He also refused to make change for us when we ordered a Taxi?? Sad. The only reason we stayed another night is because the kind ladies at Reception arranged to have our belongings moved after a long day of touring. Will not recommend to friends based on the fact of you should feel welcomed by all and not singled out based on race.

Nice but fell a little short”
Fantastic room, great food, nice beachfront location! Breakfast not till 8am not good for early risers. Did not and would not supply any milk/whitener for coffee supplied in room, were told to go to the shop! Would not allow us to have two beach umbrellas for shade even though they had a a dozen or two spare and only 3 others using the lounges! Broken furniture stacked at the beach entrance! Beach not cleaned of debris! The gardeners work hard and do a wonderful job as does the lady on reception! Think the ample restaurant staff could provide pool and beach service as they appeared to be sitting around a lot although the service was excellent in the actual restaurant! In saying this nice place but a little far from things for us! Oh and although they have many restrictions noted about pool behaviour maybe they may like to consider adding no 'topless' swimming/sun bathing in and around the pool, whilst one was very discreet another two were bouncing around from pool to beach!

Good Location”
Stayed 3 nights in April '17. Booked 3 nights in Deluxe Bungalow, however not available on arrival. They upgrade for on night to Pool Villa, it was fantastic. Unfortunately next day to the lower class Std. (Classic) Bungalow, far too small and far from pleasant. Restaurant is in a great location on the beach but expensive for what you get. Wouldn't stay there again unless in the Pool Villa which if very expensive.

I would come again.”
Room was beautiful, comfortable bed, with the pointed thatch roof the room feels much bigger than it really is. Our room was next to the pool,I was worried about the pool noise but you could hear nothing inside the room. The only con comes on the side of the restaurant which is not operated by Eden. Beautiful restaurant, great coffee, but the main waitress left a very bad feeling with us. She was complaining about my partner saying not nice things and being very rude, not knowing that my partner has lived in Thailand for 20 years and is very fluent in Thai. The restaurant and hotel should work out an agreement so that guests can run a room and bar tab. I don't carry a wallet and money wth me when I go swimming or to the beach. Should be capable of running a tab. Opt for the deluxe room! For only a few dollars more you get a much more beautiful accommodation.

Lovely boutique resort close-by the Fishermen's village”
Eden beach is a lovely boutique resort in between the lush tropical green and the sea. Bungalows are large and decorated with taste and style. Cable TV, tea and coffee facilities, mini bar, hair dryer, unbrella are available. Bungalows enjoy a small private patio outside. I have not tried the restaurant, but had very good pinapple-ginger shake. Good lounge music at the bar. The pool is small but nicely arranged. Public shower has hot water. Sun beds with sun umbrella are set-up by the staff for clients. Receptionists are very kind and helpful. Scooter was provided in no time. Fishermen's village is 10min walk by the beach and about 20mins walk by the main road (or 5 mins by scooter). Restaurants, Spas, convenience stores are all at walking distance. I am probably more oriented to smaller hotels, with a variety of tourists and Eden Beach was fully booked, with a majority of French tourists. However, this is my own personal flare. The resort is truly a jem.

Relaxing holiday ”
On arrival - it's a little off putting as walk through what only can be described as a building site,. How ever once in resort it's beautiful,. Very quite little bungalows,. With outside seating,. View from the beach is stunning,. Food at restaurant was delicious - only negative is have to pay cash every time, Plenty of sun loungers on beach,. Beach towels provided by hotel,. Hotel is a short walk to fisherman village so an idea location. Hotel staff are very helpful and very friendly Overall I would definitely stay here again.

Relaxing and well maintained”
Pros: very nice pool area, right on the beach, beautiful clean rooms with everything you need, attentive staff, fast and reliable wifi, restaurants and grocery stores nearby Cons: not many vegetarian items on the menu, a little bit out of the way from town

Get the Deluxe villa it's worth it!”
We loved our stay here, right on the beach there is a beautiful high hut for massages, they are great and normal price you'd find on the street!!! We had the nicer villa (deluxe) and it was beautiful. Even aromatherapy oil diffusers in the room. Breakfast wasn't included with our room, but the cafe in the resort is reasonably priced and very yum! Fantastic

LOVED it!!”
Tremendous value for the price!! I'll definitely be coming back. My mom and I stayed here and she actually ended up staying an extra 3 days instead of coming back to Bangkok. The pool was beautiful, restaurant was great, staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Our bungalow was so amazing. Loved it!

Low value for money”
The bungalows are very nice, clean and comfort, we even got flowers as soon as we arrived and was allowed to check out late without additional payment...(! Thanks for that:) ) However, the rates are quite high for my opinion if you compare it to other properties on the area, as the Eden Beach is not really located at the center of the fishermen village and the facilities are nice but basic. The prices do not include breakfast and the restaurant - which seems to be run by a different owner - is expensive (cocktails cost about 10% more than most places on the fishermen village itself). Overall the experience was good, it's just that the property charges as if it was located like all other hotels in the center of the fishermen village but it simply isn't..
