I apologize, but my initial impression when I first saw the room was that it was shabby, unlike the pictures! It was clean, but it was an old building with worn curtains and bed sheets. There was a slight leak from the toilet, and although the shower provided hot water, it didn't get very hot (it would be fine for someone who likes lukewarm water). I felt that this was a four-star hotel, but considering the price, the good location, and the spacious room and bed, I was quite satisfied for a solo stay. If your main focus is sightseeing and you don't spend much time in the room, I can easily recommend it. The room was cleaned thoroughly every day. One downside was that the air conditioning was very powerful, and even after adjusting the settings, it didn't weaken much, which was a bit tough for me since I'm sensitive to the cold. There was a balcony with a small drying rack, which was perfect for drying swimsuits and the like. The bellboy was very kind, carrying my luggage to the room and always greeted me when I came to the entrance. The entrance was very spacious, making it easy to call or get out of a taxi. The location was excellent, within walking distance to the airport, Discovery Mall, and Kuta Beach, with several convenience stores nearby, so shopping was not a problem. There were massage parlors both inside and outside the hotel, and I could get treatments right away. I only had breakfast once at the café inside the hotel, but I was able to enjoy a delicious meal for about 500 yen.
